My Birthday yesterday was lush. The sunshine most definitely helped and made me just go for it. But, spending time with the people I love, doing the things I love, in the places I love is simply a winning combination. I realised last night that I’d given myself a yes day! And how often do we get to do one of those? Obviously goes without saying it was helped by my husband, family and friends! 🤣🙈 Always so thankful when they go along with #Leah’sideas 1. Sunrise swim with the @dawnstalkers, 4.15 alarm stung a little! 2. This beauty started off a Birthday serenade for me! 🥰🌅🎉 3. Breakfast in the garden, post sch drop off. (Almond croissant) 4. Gymnastics with my youngest. 5. Pub lunch, the beer garden felt like such a treat. 6. Family and friends down the beach for a bbq. 7. Tides were against us 🫣, but my friends were for us, so we braved going off the slip. 8. The one who holds it all together, and keeps me laughing. 9.Another first, stayed on a paddle board for all of 3 seconds, as I tried to re introduce myself to my core!!! 🤣 10. A lush, random guy started a little fire for us, so we had marshmallows to end the night. Started the day in the sea and ended it in the sea. 🌊 The people you have around you, cheering you on, make all the difference. The ones who believe in you, run with your ideas and even more than that, they love you for them. The best part for me, it was just a Monday eve, but we’d shaken up the mundane. That always feels like magic. Maybe we should all have more ‘yes’ days. Maybe it doesn’t have to be a Birthday? My yes day will look different to yours, and I love the freedom from comparison in that. What would yours look like? It’s the point in our journey which is represented by the wands where we look at where we are and see all is well and take this point to really savour our peace. It’s often depicted as a time of celebration and harmony. Really honouring that we need to take the time to enjoy ourselves especially after the three and the growing momentum we have seen in manifestation. When this card comes up reversed it points to being blocked from having a good time because we are anticipating some kind of problem that isn’t here right now. The truth is we need to take the time to have fun and enjoy ourselves. We could be going through life ticking off accomplishments but truthly at the end of it, the most important question is did you enjoy your life? When we are focused on being productive that’s fine but really that’s you giving your power away to the world. When we realise that the conditioning we have been enslaved into thinking that our worth is determined by our productivity we see how it is the epitome of modern slavery. Which is why ageism exists. You’re not productive so we don’t want to see or acknowledge your existence. When you take the time to savour the sunshine. Savour your blessings. Have fun with yourself or with others you can see how the tunnel vision of focusing on achieving more and more is robbing you of being present. Today take the time to find your joy. Reversed this card means that we need to look inwards to obtain this. If not now, then when.☀️

We’ve all heard the phrase: “When the student is ready, the teacher appears.” And when you’re a parent this perspective takes on a whole other meaning. Our kids are always teaching us and mirroring back to us our warts and all. And if we’re lucky and really pay attention they’re our joy breadcrumbs in action. One of the top statements, I hear client say when we’re going through their energy leadership debrief is “I don’t remember what brings me joy.” at first I used to feel really sad about this because I heard it so frequently. Now I look at it as an amazing opportunity for them to have an entirely new lease on life and things get really exciting. but first we have to get past the idea that bringing any joy into our adult life when there’s so much to do and people to take care of is in anyway selfish. It’s actually the opposite. Watching my son take to baseball more than ever this year brought this point home big time. He has unwavering focus and passionate dedication and its incredible to witness. One of the most frequent comments I hear is, “He’s so fun to watch.” Such a great reminder that when you find something that you LOVE and brings you so much joy other people inevitably are inspired and benefit greatly. ‘Your desire is always going to be one step ahead of you’ 🌟 Abraham Hicks says this. I love it so much because it puts things in perspective. 🌈 You are ambitious. 💪 You have big desires. 🌠 You always will continue to have big desires. The moment one gets fulfilled, you will have 10 others (or even more if you are like me 🤪). Once, I was feeling very frustrated with the time one of my specific desires was taking to come into my life. 😔 And just out of curiosity, in that moment, I decided to make a list of all that I desire—all that I know I desire and am asking for. 📝 Can you guess how many made it to this list? 🤔 100 plus in less than 10 minutes 🤣🤣 So what happened after 100? No, desires did not stop. I just stopped making the list because I had gotten the point. I am desiring a lot, and my focus shifts from one to another. 🔄 It is okay for me to be in the space of not having what I desire. Not just okay, it actually is the only space I am going to be in as long as I live. 🕊️ Knowing myself, I am never going to stop desiring. And so are you. 🌍 So what if you just accepted that you will always have more desires and they will keep expanding? And that’s a beautiful space to be in. 🌸 Because you will always, at every moment, also have a lot of desires that are already fulfilled. 💖 You can decide to ‘Enjoy what you already have in your life while more of your desires are on their way to you.’ 🌟 This thought process gives me an ability to find satisfaction in any moment, no matter how many desires are not yet fulfilled. ✨ How does that land for you?
