Russ, I'd like to know how you came across these words. They are familiar to me. My dad was trained in part as a landscape architect. I grew up for the first 5-6 years of my life in Germantown. I wrote very similar words, if I remember correctly to a friend, as I told my teacher, but she said I couldn't write that because it wasn't correct. Some of the words were also inspired by something I heard outside my window. But I wrote it after I moved to the suburbs. One of my asks was to find this, and I agreed that you would be able to use certain things. A billboard fell yesterday in Mumbai killing 14 and injuring over 70 - Who is responsible? Mumbai saw some sudden sand storm and rain and destroyed a lot of properties. 1 main highlight was when a billboard jn Ghatkopar fell killing 14 and injuring over 70 people. Now the point is - who is responsible? The size of a billboard allowed legally in Mumbai is 40 square feet, and the billboard which fell was 3 times which is 120 square feet!!! Who is responsible for this? Should the Municipal corporation people be held accountable as they are the ones responsible to see if the rules are being followed? Or in general we all citizens are morally responsible to not go beyond the set laws as it may cause such destruction? Why is it that it is so easy to break the rules here? Are the people not afraid of the consequences? Is the judgement slow that they known people will forget after a point? Is the government too lazy to check the application and punish people who break them? The government does not punish people. Then people tend to get too comfortable breaking the laws. It has become a vicious cycle. How will this cycle break? Who will take the responsibility? Will the government improve? or will the citizens take it up on them not to flout the rule?
