Estou me aventurando a fazer pesquisa de campo sobre consumo de pessoas pretas, a partir da moda, em NYC. E as primeiras entrevistas que fiz aqui foram com os produtores, os empreendedores negros do ramo da moda. Um dos entrevistados citou a música “Entrepreneur”, de Pharrell Williams em parceria com Jay-Z, lançada em 2020. A música começa com a seguinte frase: “eu sou a ambição negra”. Os versos seguintes falam sobre as dificuldades de manter um negócio sendo uma pessoa preta. A frase citada pelo entrevistado foi: para cada Gucci, dois FUBUs. A FUBU é uma empresa de roupas americana de Hip Hop, fundada por Daymond John em 1992. FUBU significa “For Us, By Us”, traduzindo: Para nós, por nós. Em seu auge em 1998, a FUBU arrecadou mais 350 milhões de dólares em vendas. Entre ellas, la eliminación transitoria del impuesto al consumo e IVA para los servicios de hotelería y turismo. Esta medida significó la reducción del 8% al 0% del Impuesto al Consumo y del 19% al 0% del IVA que tributan bares, restaurantes y hoteles. Sin embargo, esta medida queda sin efecto a partir del 1 de enero de este año y el sector deberá comenzar a pagar el total de estos gravámenes, con excepción de aquellos establecimientos comerciales que están bajo el régimen simple en Colombia. These include the temporary elimination of the consumption tax and VAT for hotel and tourism services. This measure meant a reduction from 8% to 0% of the consumption tax and from 19% to 0% of the VAT imposed on bars, restaurants, and hotels. However, this measure is no longer in effect as of January 1st of this year. The sector must begin to pay the total of these taxes, except for those commercial establishments under the simple regime in Colombia.
