A few from this morning's check in. 88.9kg. Push Up starts again on Monday, very excited. Got to send my weight across Sunday morning, then Kuba will lay out my plan of action. I'm not entirely happy with how my body has responded during this diet phase, but Kuba is happy so I'll take it. Been alot of stress factors that may have slowed things down a litte. I was expecting a 6-7 week cut, ended up needing 10 weeks to put me in the best spot to get the best out of the rest of my off season. The chase for HUGE arms is a long chase 💪🏻💪🏻 . . There are certain muscles that I believe are harder to grow and definitely for each person it’s different as well depending on genetics. As well there’s muscles like calves which I believe you have a genetic limit no matter how hard you work them or how much extra supplements you take; they won’t grow to much. . . The main muscle or muscles for me that is seemingly the hardest to grow is my arms or biceps and triceps. I have gained a little size on them since starting to really focus on my fitness journey and especially since I’ve been trying to do bodybuilding since September 2022. . . But they are no where near the size I would like them to be. No matter how many ppl might tell me they look big, I still don’t believe it myself if I’m being honest as I’m a very hard critic of myself and my abilities. I believe I can do alot more then what I think as I also believe that’s the same for majority of ppl. . . Though I push my arms harder then ever, if their not the size I want. I just need to continue to work harder then last time every arm workout, be consistent and be patient. Good things come with time and consistency as I’m not satisfied with my physique but I am proud of how hard I’ve come. . . So here we are, end of the push up. 🐷 This my heaviest and biggest ever but not my fattest ever so I am happy with that. We were able to push 7lbs higher than last time, even with a nightmare illness over Xmas and dropping 5kg more than planned. Didn’t managed to touch 240lbs unfortunately but I’m sure that time will come in the future, wasn’t going to just push to that bodyweight if there was nothing to gain from it. We have been pretty much holding the last few weeks with my heaviest weekly average being 237.1lbs. This is the final week of the push but I’m not running any high days so it will allow my body to just settle and help solidify this weight which it’s been adapting to for weeks now. Massively happy with the progress made this push. Heaviest and biggest ever but going off such markers are blood pressure and blood glucose the healthiest I’ve been whilst at a peak bodyweight. This push I really just kept my head down, didn’t overthink anything and just followed @gingertraining instructions. Overthinking has been my worst enemy before but this time we managed to push it all aside and that allowed us to slap on some new tissue. Ziel für den nächsten Wettkampf (NAC Internationale Ostdeutsche Meisterschaften) am kommenden Samstag, ist es diese Form zu bestätigen bzw. noch einmal zu übertreffen. Die Vorfreude ist groß, wenngleich die Strapazen und Anstrengungen der letzten 20 Wochen, nicht spurlos an mir vorbeigegangen sind. Das alles interessiert jedoch nicht, wenn man die Möglichkeit hat sich und seine Arbeit auf der Bühne zu präsentieren. Die Stimmung, die Atmosphäre und das Gefühl dort oben stehen zu können, entschädigen jeglichen Verzicht.
