Listen for the Lie by @amytintera 4 ⭐️ I’m a huge fan of books with mixed media, specifically podcasts, texts, emails, etc. This was a fun read and I definitely didn’t guess the ending! The main reason this wasn’t a 5 star read for me was the main character and the annoying “voices” in her head. Got to be pretty redundant 🙄 ••••••••••••••••••••••••••• PLOT: In Listen for the Lie, in a small town in Texas, Lucy is found wandering the streets covered in blood while the body of her best friend is discovered nearby. A police investigation doesn’t find enough evidence to charge her, but the town decides that she’s guilty. Five years later, Ben Owens, a charming and popular true crime podcaster makes the murder the focal point of the newest season of his show Listen for the Lie, shining a light on Lucy’s status as a murder suspect once again. ••••••• #books #bookstagram #bookrecommendations #bookreview #listenforthelie #amytintera #goodreads #thrillerbooks #truecrime #crimejunkie

Love this lil trend making its way around insta lately- It’s very aesthetically pleasing 👌🏼 All of these were 4.5/5 star reads for me, and some were audio (and SO good on audio) 🎧: Daisy Jones, Live Wire, Sadie & Listen For The Lie Can you guess the rest?

**test test** IS THIS THING WORKING? 👂 🎧 “Listen for the Lie” is one of the year’s best thrillers. I didn’t know whether to listen to the audiobook or read the physical book… so I did both and, boy, was it an immersive experience. @amytintera’s use of podcast interstitials throughout the novel plays psychological warfare on readers. On the one hand, we have a pretty likable, albeit a little quirky, protagonist while on the other hand, you can’t help but question everyone’s motive from the very start. Buckle up and put on your headphones, “Listen for the Lie” will have you in a chokehold from the first chapter. . . . #bookworm #bookstagram #bookstagrammer #readmorebooks #reading #bookreview #books #listenforthelie #thriller #thrillerbooks

-R E V I E W- This was such a fun Who Done It thriller! I absolutely loved the podcast element and love that this is coming up a lot more lately. I am so glad that I listened to this on audio. It really made the experience that much more fun. I don’t think that I have ever laughed the way I did while reading this. The FMC inner dialogue and thoughts in her head had me seriously cackling sometimes. There were few times I thought I had this figure out but can honestly say I did not guess the ending. This was so entertaining and I loved it! 💭- What’s the last book you added to your TBR? • • • #bookish #booklover #bookaddict #bookstagram #readers #readersofinstagram #bookobsessed #bookreview #listenforthelie #audiobooks #audiobookstagram

𝐁𝐨𝐨𝐤 𝐑𝐞𝐯𝐢𝐞𝐰 ⬇️ 📖 : “Listen For The Lie” by Amy Tintera Rating : 🌟🌟🌟🌟💫 Format : Hardcover A fast paced mystery, thriller with witty banter, and a steady pace of twists and on the edge of your seat moments. I really loved this book and couldn’t put it down. I wanted to keep moving forward to find the twist and figure out the “who done it” moment! The podcast chapters were also helpful to bring in other characters and to hear their stories without having to go too deep in each chapter. I do wish the ending and flashbacks started a little bit sooner so we had more of that moment at the end to know more of the “past” storyline. If you are looking for a quick paced mystery for the beach or pool this summer…I highly recommend this one! . . . . #bookreview #listenforthelie #mystery #thriller #mayreads #podcast #books #bookstagram #gaysofbookstagram #gayreader #thrillerreads #mysteryreads

Wow!! What a whirlwind of a month May has been. For parts of it I’m not even sure I knew who I was or what day it was. 😵‍💫🤯Between the kids activities, all the new stuff school or other places decide to add in, and then our house being struck by lightning and starting a small fire, I’m just happy this month is almost over and it’s countdown to summertime!! Woo hoo!! Because we had a feeling May might be crazy for you too, Lauren @girlsgoalsandgongshows and I wanted to give you some options to finish your month with a bang, while in the midst of trying to remember where you are going and what you are doing. These ones are short, fast paced, bingeable, and the perfect escape if you need to head to the fiction world for a little bit! Enjoy!

Prompt 21 - a book released in a year ending in "24" - May 28, 2024 - This was an interesting take on the "whodunit" style novel. Lucy's best friend is murdered and everyone in town thinks she did it, including her husband and parents, but the police don't have enough evidence to charge her and Lucy has no memory of the night. Fast forward five years, and a true crime podcaster decides he's going to crack the case. The novel flips between Lucy's point of view and the podcast episodes. Secrets are revealed, and memories returned in bits and pieces as the pages are turned. Full of sarcastic wit, intrigue, deception, and poor decisions, I thoroughly enjoyed this read. #popsugarreadingchallenge #allisonpicksbooks #bookstagram #bookstagrammer #listenforthelie @amytintera

Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Absolutely adored this book from the first page. The story focuses on Lucy and a true crime podcaster trying to figure out if Lucy really did kill her best friend Savvy, Lucy claims she has no memory of the night five years ago, but is the main suspect in Savvy's murder. After leaving her hometown, her grandma invites Lucy back for her birthday party, where she meets the podcaster Ben and encounters the distain from the people of the town she left where everyone assumes she has murdered her best friend. I instantly loved Lucy and her Grandma, some of the others not so much, but they are fully thought out and rounded characters, looking at them as a whole with their good points and flaws. All the characters felt relevant and crucial to the story and all added their own stamp too. Lucy's sarcasm and quick dark wit kept me entertained and amused throughout. I really enjoyed Amy's writing style and the story being told from Lucy's perspective and the interviews on the podcast. It was a book that I didn't want to end nor say goodbye to those characters. #ListenfortheLie #netgalley #netgalleyreads #netgalleyreview

Läser just nu 📖 ⬆️ Listen for the lie av Amy Tintera . Ca 60 sidor in och än så länge är jag inte besviken. Den är underhållande och riktigt spännande. #beccareadsin2024 book 43 — Listen for the Lie by @amytintera // read May 11-13 // ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ . If you’re looking for a great audiobook, I definitely recommend this one. It’s produced like a true crime podcast and I loved it. The voice actors and sound effects were awesome and set the stage so well for this mystery. The main character was intriguing and kept me guessing and enthralled. I chuckled at these characters often, even during this crazy murder mystery story. And I’ll also say I love mysteries and can normally guess where things are going. There were some things I was suspicious of but this one definitely kept me guessing and I didn’t want to stop listening. Listen For The Lie 🎧 ⭐️ 4 Stars This was my first audiobook and it was great! I really enjoyed listening to the story unfold as I did my jobs around the house or went for a walk. Lucy has the role of unreliable narrator, she has amnesia and cannot remember the night her best friend died, everyone is convinced she did it, did she? Ben’s next season of his true crime podcast surrounds Lucy and finding the truth about her best friend Savvy’s death. I really liked the incorporation of the podcast into the story, listening to this as an audiobook really gave the feel like you were actually listening to the podcast and was able to give multiple views and opinions which added to the mystery of the story without overloading you. This book has a lot of sarcasm and dry humour, I laughed out loud quite a few times. The narrator’s did an excellent job at telling the story. Sometimes Lucy’s inner monologue was a bit much but there is a reason for it which you find out as you go. I will say I did end up working out the twist before it came but I still really enjoyed the journey to finding out what truly happened the night Savvy died. Overall I really enjoyed this book, I love a good mystery and I love trying to work out who did it. A big thank you to the lovely @what.farah.reads and @readwtasha who recommended this as my first audiobook and have now got me onto the audiobook train, I’m keen to listen to more! #books #booksbooksbooks #bookishcommunity #bookstagram #bookstagrammer #bookswithbrooki #reading #ilovereading #audiobooks #audiobook #listenforthelie #amytintera #mystery #thriller

My favorite read of this year! 🎧 Lucy Chase is believed to have killed her best friend Savvy after she was found wandering the woods outside of a wedding venue covered in Savvy’s blood. The police never discovered the truth — evidence was inconclusive and Lucy had long-term amnesia of the events of that night — but her small town of Plumpton, Texas, was quick to believe she did it. Now, five years on, Lucy has returned home for a family party — and to confront a podcaster who has recently shone a new spotlight on this unsolved mystery. 🎧🎧🎧🎧🎧 This book is breathtaking. It’s largely quite funny and breezy — Lucy has a wickedly dark sense of humor and is an easy character to feel invested in. Frequent chapters transcribing true crime podcast “Listen for the Lie” throughout, with characters reacting to the episodes in realtime, make you feel like you’re solving the mystery right alongside the characters, and it’s a blast. The story extremely entertaining, bordering on lighthearted, until suddenly it’s…not. As we get closer to learning the truth, devastating facts are revealed and author Amy Tintera makes heartbreaking but entirely necessary commentary on the people whose truths are taken most seriously. The book very quickly went from making me laugh to making me feel so angry and sad on some characters’ behalf, and is an incredibly important read. It really had everything I look for in a thriller — it’s fun, emotional, fast-paced, and extremely engaging. Even some of the best books I’ve read this year had lulls, but this one kept me hooked from beginning to end. 🎧🎧🎧🎧🎧 📚 Info: Listen for the Lie, Amy Tintera (2024) 👽 Genre: Thriller, Mystery ⭐️ Rating: 5/5 🎧🎧🎧🎧🎧 #amytintera #listenforthelie #audiobookreview #audiobooks #audiobookstagram #bookreview #bookreader #bookrecommendations #fivestarbook #fivestarbooks #bookofthemonth #bookofthemonthclub #botm

🎧 Listen for the Lie 🎧 This was a fun, quick read! One small thing I really appreciated (compared to other books I’ve read involving podcasts) was that the podcast “episodes” weren’t just one page long. I’ve read other books in the past that have literally one page as the “episode” and it always takes me out of the book because that would be such a short podcast to listen to! I know they’re not just going to repeat all the info we already know as an “episode” but I appreciated in this book how the podcast chapters were clearly labeled as only part of an episode and sometimes one episode spanned multiple podcasts chapters. Wow I really started rambling here but I have strong feelings about it!! Anyway, what did you think if you’ve read this one? #ListenForTheLie #BookOfTheMonth #BOTM #BOTMClub #CurrentlyReading #BookReview

🎧 Listen for the Lie by Amy Tintera (Ad pr product) Swipe 👉 for blurb Someone tell me why I waited so long to read this one?! After seeing lots of people rave about it I finally listened to the audiobook and devoured it in a single day because it’s bloody brilliant! I’m really into these new funny thrillers doing the rounds lately, and this is up there as one of the best - it’s bitingly sharp and utterly addictive! Lucy is totally brilliant, even if she has a serious dark side, and I loved that I really didn’t know if she would be the killer or not until the very end - anything seems possible with someone having the kind of daydreams she has 😂 But the true star of the show was her gran, who was an absolute legend and accounted for at least 60% of my laughs. This worked especially well on audio because of the true crime podcast element, but either way it’s a fantastic read, full of twists and turns, laughter and sadness, and romance and friendship. Easy five stars from me! #ListenForTheLie is out now from @bantambooksuk and a huge thanks to @chloerose_pr for my fab copy ✨

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Author: Amy Tintera Started: May 25, 2024 Finished: May 26, 2024 Format: Print Genre: Thriller For the first time in 5 years, Lucy returns home to Texas. Considering people think she grusomely murdered her best friend, Savvy, this is no small feat. Also in her hometown is Ben, podcast host of Listen for the Lie, who is looking into Savvy's unsolved murder. Despite not remembering anything about the nigh Savvy died, while working with Ben, Lucy begins to piece together the night of Savvy's murder and her possible role in it. This was a fun, quick read using a multimedia format. I love whenever they have a podcast as a key part of the story, as I think it adds to the story. The characters were interesting, and the storyline moved forward at a good pace. There were a myriad of suspects brought up, but the ending still surprised me. ✨BOOK REVIEW✨ • • Y’all know I’m not normally a thriller fan, but I did enjoy this one! I’ve seen so many 5 star reviews of this book, and the premise sounded too good to pass up! • • Lucy finds herself back in her Texas hometown, the one she left because everyone was convinced she killed her best friend. And, all of the details about the case are coming back to the surface now that a podcaster is in town trying to solve the mystery. But, as she decides to work with the attractive podcaster, Lucy slowly starts to remember aspects of the night she so conveniently forgot. ⭐️⭐️⭐️ • • Lucy’s dark, dry humor was pretty hilarious in this book. But overall, I just couldn’t find the plot or characters believable. But there were some fun twists! • • #books #booksbooksbooks #bookstagram #booklover #booklove #bookish #bookishlove #bookishlife #bookishlifestyle #thriller #thrillerbooks #listenforthelie #read #readersgonnaread #readmorebooks #readmore #readersofig #readersofinstagram #reader #ilovebooks #ilovereading

🌟 BOOK REVIEW 🌟 I liked it. I Didn’t looove it. 🤷🏼‍♀️ 🌟🌟🌟 (3.5/5) 🌶️ (1.5) Lucy teams up with an attractive and persistent podcaster to prove her innocence (or GUILT) in the murder of her best friend, 5 years cold. Everyone thinks she did it… her family, hometown, and ex husband. GUILTY. It’s a slow paced “murder drama” that honestly resembles Schitts Creek 🤣 Lucy has an intriguing inner dialogue that is LOL funny. It wasn’t thrilling enough to earn my 4-5 star rating…. But intrigued me enough to finish it 👍🏻 (It’s a nice vacation book in the sunshine ☀️) Have you read it?? Listen for the Lie by Amy Tintera, is a gripping thriller that combines dark humor, psychological tension, and unexpected twists. The novel follows Lucy Chase, accused of murdering her best friend, Savvy. With no memory of the night in question, Lucy grapples with guilt and doubt. The inclusion of the true crime podcast “Listen for the Lie” adds an innovative twist, as it investigates Savvy’s murder. While the pacing occasionally lags and some characters imo are underdeveloped, Tintera’s unique premise ensures the book stands out in the crowded genre. I give it ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5. #ListenfortheLie #AmyTintera #bookstagram #celadonbooks #LifeWASOSkincare

Currently Reading: Listen for the Lie 🔥 Thrillers aren’t my number one go-to, but I’m loving this one so far. Who’s read it? Synopsis: What if you thought you murdered your best friend? And if everyone else thought so too? And what if the truth doesn’t matter? After Lucy is found wandering the streets, covered in her best friend Savvy’s blood, everyone thinks she is a murderer. Lucy and Savvy were the golden girls of their small Texas town: pretty, smart, and enviable. Lucy married a dream guy with a big ring and an even bigger new home. Savvy was the social butterfly loved by all, and if you believe the rumors, especially popular with the men in town. It’s been years since that horrible night, a night Lucy can’t remember anything about, and she has since moved to LA and started a new life. But now the phenomenally huge hit true crime podcast “Listen for the Lie,” and its too-good looking host Ben Owens, have decided to investigate Savvy’s murder for the show’s second season. Lucy is forced to return to the place she vowed never to set foot in again to solve her friend’s murder, even if she is the one that did it. #listenforthelie #amytintera #botm #bookofthemonth #bookreviewer #currentlyreading #redbook #readmorethrillers #gmabookclub

🦇🦇 Book Review 🦇🦇 Listen for the Lie by Amy Tintera 💻 Lucy and Savvy were best friends. While not close in high school, they become inseparable when Lucy moves back to her small, Texas hometown with her husband after college. Everything changes for Lucy when she is found wandering, covered in Savvy’s blood and Savvy’s body is found near a washed-out road. Lucy remembers nothing from the night. Hearing that Lucy is visiting her hometown for the first time since the murder, true crime podcaster Ben Owens capitalizes on the opportunity to investigate what really happened that night. 💻 It is easy to see why Listen for the Lie is getting good reviews on bookstagram. It is a fast-paced novel that finds top gear early and does not let up. That is not to say the story never slows down to breath at times. It does instill a deep desire to find out who killed Savvy and because of that, it is difficult to put down. For that it is a top-notch whodunit. 💻 I held off on this one because I feel like the true crime podcaster character in a murder mystery has been done a lot recently. Ben is unique though, in that it is not always clear what his motivations are, or whose side he is on. Anyone looking for pure of heart male characters will not find any within these pages. Most are misogynistic and prone to violence. One word of warning, Listen for the Lie does include domestic abuse and violence against women. If those are not topics you shy away from in crime fiction and you are looking for the type of book you can finish in a weekend, this may be for you. ⭐⭐⭐⭐💫  🎵 Lucy’s fictional hometown of Plumpton, Texas is near Austin. So much good music has come out of that area.  My Listen for the Lie Playlist: Black Pumas – Black Pumas The Band of Heathens – One Foot in the Ether Gary Clark Jr. - This Land #listenforthelie #celadonbooks #bookstagram #bookreview #bookofthemonthclub

_ #listenforthelie (4⭐) . #amytintera .

Listen For the Lie - ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️.5 Five years ago, Lucy Chase was suspected of murdering her best friend in her hometown of Plumpton, Texas. Unable to remember anything about the night, she moved to Los Angeles to try to put it all behind her. Ben Owens, a true-crime podcaster, comes to Plumpton to report on the murder at the same time that Lucy comes back to town to celebrate her grandmother’s birthday. As new evidence is uncovered and old interviews are revisited, Lucy starts to face the past and the people in it who she thought she left behind. This book was a fun, easy read. It has a lot of hype around it and I didn’t quite feel that it lived up to my expectations, but I did enjoy myself while I was reading it. I recently read First Lie Wins and it has a lot in common with this novel - private and prickly young female narrators, a Southern setting, a cast of close-knit small town characters, and fluid prose. I would recommend it as a quick beach read or vacation read, especially for those who enjoyed First Lie Wins. Books about podcasts seem to be popular these days. I loved I Have Some Questions For You, and I have None of This Is True on my tbr pile. Has anyone read all three? I’d love to hear how they compare! #listenforthelie #amytintera #gmabookclub #thriller #podcastnovel #podcastbook #alwaysreading #bookstagram #readingisfun #booksbooksbooks #bookreview #justread

“Some people will never believe you no matter how hard you explain yourself. Trust me, there’s no pleasing people. If they’re determined to think the worst of you, they will.” 🎧 Lucy can’t remember anything from the night her best friend was killed, but her entire town has decided she is guilty. 5 years later, a podcaster comes to town with intentions of solving Savvy’s case. Lucy decides to assist him in his research, even if she has to face her past and learn that she is the one who killed Savvy… or is she? ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 stars! This thriller has been on my TBR since its release and I am so glad I finally got to read it. The story is fast paced and Lucy is an unreliable narrator, keeping you turning pages. I stayed up way past my bedtime to finish this one in one sitting 🙈 ❓ QOTD: what is a book you were so excited to read that definitely lived up to the hype?

Book 12 of 2024 🎙️ Listen for the Lie- Amy Tintera. I really enjoyed this one, the mixed media element was really giving A Good Girls Guide to Murder which I absolutely loved. I really enjoyed Lucy as a character, she was dark and used humour to make people uncomfortable. I also loved Savvy, the little insights into her as a person were so good, she was strong, she was sassy and together her and Lucy were the friendship you always strived for. I enjoyed the buildup to the ending but I felt like it fell a little flat for me. I didn’t really feel myself constantly guessing who it was or what happened for some reason. I was just reading and not really thinking too much into the future about what may or may not have happened. Then the ending was a bit like oh okay yeah sure. 95% of the book was great and I enjoyed but the last 5% was a bit ughhhhh 😩 disappointing, it really wasn’t like OMG I CANT BELIEVE IT WAS THAT PERSON WOW!!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Blurb- Am I a murderer? You tell me . . . You probably already know about me. Lucy Chase, the woman who doesn’t remember murdering her best friend. You probably think I did it, too. That’s OK, I get it. Being found wandering the streets covered in her blood wasn’t a great look. Believe me, I’m as frustrated as you are. I’d love to know if I’m a murderer – it’s the sort of thing you really should know about yourself, isn’t it? And now, thanks to true-crime podcast Listen for the Lie, I finally have the chance to find out. But will I be able to live with myself if it turns out it was me? And if it wasn’t, will digging into the secrets of the night I forgot make me the next target of whoever did? #listenforthelie #listenfortheliebook #amytintera #thriller #thrillerreads #thrillerbooks #staceys2024reads #staceys2024bookshelf #reading #readersofinstagram #readingchallenge #2024readingchallenge

Amy Tintera has many books in the Ridgeline library. She writes both dystopian and fantasy fiction. Listen for the Lie is her adult debut and it is a mystery! Here is the story: Lucy left her Texas town five years ago, because, although she wasn’t charged, she was accused of killing her best friend, Savvy. Lucy truly has no memory of most of the night that Savvy died. Now the story is the subject. I have a popular podcast. Lucy returns to town for her grandmother‘s birthday party and the podcaster (of course) wants an interview. Not telling you anymore… but I really liked the “podcasty” for it if this book and I didn’t see the end coming! This is certainly an adult book… much of the intrigue centers on who is cheating with who… so be warned. I don’t LOVE mysteries, but they sure can suck you in and keep you reading! #podcastbooks #listenforthelie #thriller #mysteryinthelibrary

Recent Reads Audiobooks Listen for the Lie Amy Tintera I. LOVE. THIS. BOOK. It is funny, fast-paced, and unpredictable. Lucy returns to her small-town Texas home to help throw her grandmother’s 80th birthday party. The same town that thinks she murdered her best friend Savvy more than 10 years ago. Ben is also in town. He’s created a podcast about the murder of Savannah Harper and he’s interviewing everyone. Lucy warms up to the idea of helping him solve this murder, so she stays in town and stirs everything up. Fantastic! I can’t wait to read what this author writes next. Why You Eat What You Eat Rachel Herz I’m so interested in why we eat the things we eat. I’ve read several books about the science behind food choices. A lot of it comes down to things we already know. For example, we eat more or less depending on our current emotions and we tend to mimic the order of who we are with and what they eat when we are at a restaurant. It’s always the little nuggets that I am happy to be reminded of: sugar is fuel for the brain, low-fat doesn’t always mean healthier, and great marketing is a very powerful and suggestive tool. A Letter to Three Witches Elizabeth Bass A funny tale of witchy cousins with a family curse. Well, a witch council law, really. They aren’t allowed to practice witchcraft because a three times great grandfather cast a calamitous spell. Gwen, Trudy, and Milo are going about their lives when they each receive the same letter from Gwen’s adopted sister, Tannith. She has bewitched one of their partners and will move to NYC in a week. Trudy gets so upset that her cupcakes are now enchanted and the whole town is eating them. Lucy isn’t sure if she murdered her best friend. Years after her best friend was murdered and Lucy was found near the crime scene, old memories are brought back up by a podcaster doing a series on this unsolved murder. Lucy returns to her hometown to visit her family, but ends up working with the podcaster, Ben, to try to figure out what happened that night once and for all. I loved this book! I listened to it as an audiobook and the podcast elements really make it very enjoyable to listen to rather than reading. The narrators are great and the story is fantastic! Great twists! #bookstagram #bookish #readersofinstagram #listenforthelie #amytintera #mysteryreader #bookreview #thrillerreader #mystery #thriller

Honestly recommend!!!! I picked this up bc I literally SWEAR it’s the same cover as #theyneverlearn spoilers it’s not😂 Honestly im really into these niche types of murder books recently. All ravings and positives. I do think the book did drag out a bit to where I kinda got less excited over time but the ending ended a good way! I think it could’ve easily ruined the entire book if it didn’t feel satisfying. Maybe the constant thoughts of murder murder were a bit weird tho… I probably enjoy it bc everyone was low key a whore which I just thought was really funny in how serious this book was. Also I’m pretty picky about discussion of DV, but I actually liked the way it was talked here. Very realistic I think of the victim being the most nonplussed about it. And it did not glorify it as a pity story. Which is what I hate most about books. Using it as a plot tool to make people pity a character. Also the podcast bit totally worked on audiobook. Cool narrative device to slowly unravel stuff without us having to see every convo. Cut out of drab time that often gets included. Having to see a random convo for the plot but in order to so add 3 pages of setting and bla blah. Just tell me #listenforthelie #amytintera #murderbooks #bookstagram Book 49/100 for 2024

Rating: 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Finished: 3.23.24 Genre: mystery~thriller Book 3️⃣1️⃣ of 2024 Alternating between Lucy & the podcast, this book reads super well. Lucy is also a hilariously sarcastic character who owns the fact that everyone thinks she’s a murderer. There’s a lot of charm in this book which is a weird thing to say - maybe the Texas setting coming through. I also like that you really can’t make a great guess at what happened! Highly recommend this popular thrill. #bookstagram #bookstagrammer #booknerd #booklover #bookworm #bibliophile #bookish #readwithme #readersofinstagram #goodreads #bookclubsofinstagram #readingismagic #listenforthelie #kindle

If you're in the mood for your next great audiobook, check out 'Listen for the Lie' by @amytintera I loved the dual perspectives between Lucy, a suspect in the unsolved murder of her best friend, and Ben, a true crime podcaster investigating the case. I had a hard time putting this book down, waiting to hear what would happen next Ben's podcast. With small town vibes, a meddling grandmother, and friends/family quick to assume the worst, this book checks all the boxes if you're a fan of true crime stories and gripping mysteries. I listened on @librofm and the narration by January LaVoy and Will Damron was absolutely perfect - Will sounded like a seasoned podcaster, while January had me laughing one moment and gutted the next. If you're looking for your next addictive listen, 'Listen for the Lie' is definitely worth a try. Let me know what you think if you give it a listen! #listenforthelie #mystery #audiobooks #bookstagram #bookreview #bookish #booknerd #bookrecommendations #librofm
