Austin Blue is a local artist here in Atlanta, Georgia and he's known for his abstract and portrait work. He uses vibrant colors and shades and a variety of shapes as well! Austin's love of art came from the art he'd see on the TV, especially after watching Dragon Ball Z. Even though his love for art started as a hobby when he was growing up in San Fransisco, it quickly turned to a career when he moved to Atlanta. It will almost be 45 years to the day when nurse Angela first started in the renal unit at the RBWH on 4 June 1979, which is why she has chosen the special date to be her last working day as a nurse. Angela was part of the establishment of the satellite dialysis unit at Sandgate (which has since relocated to Redcliffe Hospital) which was the first satellite dialysis unit in Australia. "I have always been fascinated by kidneys. The satellite facilities have been a great love of my life other than my family, but it is time to hang up my cannulas and stethoscope," Angela said. โฅ๏ธ "I have had the pleasure of working with technology and watching that change over the years and being able to get to know patients on a deep level that they become part of your family - I look after them how I would like to be looked after.
