This is our sweet, sweet Prickles and he’s not doing well. Please send him all the love as we head back to the vet today. Prickles was rescued from the outdoors (and the prickly bushes) by our friend Nichole from BunRabit Rescue. When he arrived, he was terrified! And once he began to settle in it was clear he had not been socialized and most likely had been separated from mom and/or litter mates too soon. He also is visually impaired. But to say he has done a complete 180 is an understatement. He’s now our sweet, sweet Prickles and got his picture taken to go up as adoptable when he started having some medical concerns. He was at the vet last week following a choking incident. The vet was concerned that our seemingly unrelated concerns could be related so additional testing was ordered. Then we thought we had it all figured out when he started limping on Friday. (We had been concerned he might have hurt himself jumping out of his pen but no injuries could be found. As prey animals, rabbits are masters at hiding injuries.) But even if this is the root cause, his symptoms have worsened. He’s lost significant weight. His low-grade fever is no longer low-grade. So it’s back to the vet today. She arrived with digestive concerns but our vet couldn’t find anything of concern so we hoped it would resolve with time. The response to our School Outreach Campaign has been amazing! We partnered with River Trail Middle School in Johns Creek for their 6th Grade Social Studies Service Project. Titan Cargo National Food Parcel Drive in Partnership with @gift.of.the.givers We are proud to share our recent social responsibility project where Titan Cargo, in collaboration with Gift of the Givers, successfully conducted the National Food Parcel Drive. Through this initiative, we were able to distribute 2500 food parcels across four provinces, providing essential support to those in need. The total value of these donations was R700,000. This effort underscores our commitment to giving back to the community and supporting those who need it most. We are grateful to Gift of the Givers for their partnership and to everyone who helped make this project a success. Thank you for being part of our journey to make a positive impact.
