✨1 DAY SAN FRAN ITINERARY ✨⬇️⬇️⬇️ 🚃 Cable car ride to the coastline (aka the greatest mode of transportation) 🍫 Ghirardelli Square 🌉 Take pictures with the Golden Gate Bridge in the Presidio 🎥 The Walt Disney Family Museum 🎨 Palace of Fine Arts (my personal fave!!) 🛥️ Ferry boat tour of the bay 🦀 Seafood dinner at Pier 39 (Bubba Gump's is always a win) 🌸 Lombard Street (the crookedest street in the world) Pro tip: rent an ebike or electric scooter to get around! You'll save so much time and won't have to walk up and down tons of hills. **I really recommend an ebike (not a regular bike!) because the hills are no joke and the electric scooter even has a hard time going up them. ALSO the Presidio is off limits for scooter parking, so if you want to explore that area, you can't end your ride. One thing I didn't have time for that many people told me was incredible is an Alcatraz tour! It's a good 2-4 hour investment, but it's totally worth it! Honney moon aux US 🇺🇸 Après bientôt 4 ans de mariage nous faisons enfin notre voyage de noce, nous avons tout organisé et planifié sans passer par une agence de voyage. 📍1ère journée à San Fancisco Nous avons visité le fameux @pier39 où on a pu observer des lions de mer 🦭 Nous sommes partis faire une petite randonnée pour aller voir le Golden Gate, il faisait très beau de notre côté nous avons pu voir le pont entièrement dégagé. On a découvert des paysages magnifiques ⛰️🌊 On a voulu monter notre réel je vous laisse voir les coulisses 😂😂 Puis nous avons pris les fameux cablecar 🚃🚃c’est assez bruyant mais c’est super chouette on découvre les rues escarpées Puis nous avons visité 📍chinetown un lieu assez atypique je dois dire😅🤣 Et nous avons terminé par la Coit Tower on y accède par des escaliers très pentu à travers les jardins particuliers, c’est aussi beau qu’une horreur à monter, j’avoue avoir maudit un peu mon mari🤣🤣 On a pu observer qu’un peu partout à SF on trouve des voitures autonomes mais avec personne dans la voiture…😅c’est un déroutant la première fois Au total de cette première journée 15,5km 🚶♀️! #sanfrancisco #honneymoon #pier39 #chinatown #goldengatebridge #decouverte #paysage #travel

Heute ging es in der Früh nach Carmel by the sea, wo Clint Eastwood Bürgermeister war. Es ist en kleiner verträumter Ort, wo man unter sich bleiben will. Weiter ging es über den Pacific Coast Highway durch Monterey nach San Francisco. In den Straßen von San Francisco fahren schon non human vehicles. Es gab einen Walk durch Chinatown und zum Pier 39. Die Seelöwen warteten auf uns. Ein Abstecher ins Buba Gump durfte nicht fehlen. Anschließend ging es noch kurz zum Palace of fine arts, bevor es mit einem atemberaubenden Blick auf die Skyline zurück nach Oakland ging. There really is so much to do in San Francisco. Pier 39 is a vibrant hive of activity, shops cafes and view to Alcatraz. The style of shops is like a little village, I loved the bakery and the Christmas shop. Also they have a fabulous store full of sporting clothes. Great for the family gift. All College and pro teams! The most FAMOUS bridge in the WORLD (even more than Brooklyn I looked this up) 🌁 🌉 - metro to Embarcadero and walked along the wharf - #pier39 is where all the sea lions like to hang out all year except early summer - walked from there to fisherman’s wharf - took a local bus to golden gate welcome center - 40-45 min walk across the bridge - Chinatown with this pasty mf for lunch & then walked around downtown

1/7📍Pier 39, San Francisco, California 🇺🇸 Les vedettes de San Francisco, ce sont elles .. et le Golden Gate Bridge évidemment 🌁 ! Lorsque l’on visite San Francisco, difficile de ne pas aller faire un tour du côté du célèbre Pier 39, une jetée aménagée en centre commercial près du quartier Fisherman’s Wharf. Elle offre une belle vue sur Alcatraz et de nombreux commerces, attractions (manège à chevaux, arcades, etc.) et restaurants s’y trouvent 🎠. Surtout, une colonie de lions de mer est installée ici depuis les années 1980 ! Ils ont élus domicile au Pier 39 après le tremblement de terre de Loma Prieta en octobre 1989 🦭. Si au début la collaboration a été difficile avec les pêcheurs et plaisanciers, le centre des mammifères marins de San Francisco a résolu le problème en construisant des pontons en bois juste pour eux ⚓️. C’était un immanquable pour nous et nous sommes restés un moment à les observer et les photographier. Ils étaient tellement nombreux. On vous a mis 7 photos de ces gros loulous 📸 ! Pour la petite info, le mâle peut peser jusqu’à 390 kilos et mesurer 2,40m. Day 6: Pier 39 and Japantown We started the day at Pier 39, and of course, our first stop was the sea lions. Aizen enjoyed watching them lay there.. He even imitated them by sitting down, crossing his legs, and moving his upper body to the motion of a sea lion. 😅 Amelia was mesmerized by the padlocks chained to the fence. Now is time for lunch, we had clam chowder at the very same spot Andrew had been going for years with his parents. Next, we made a short stop at Ocean Beach for Aizen to chase the seagulls while Amelia took her nap. We ended the day at Japantown! The claw machines and gashapons were new and the kids loved the colorful lights. Aizen got a small green dinosaur, he said "green dino so cute!" 🥰 Andrew and I have made this Cali trip many times and always visit the same touristy places. Now we visit the same places but from the view and pace of a toddler.
