Diese Baustelle gibt es bereits seit dem 03.März 2009 also schon seit mehr als 14 Jahren, und einbändiges Ende ist nicht zu erwarten. Möglicherweise wird diese Frau auch noch mit ihren Enkeln diese Baustelle besichtigen können. Die zeitlich gesehen längste Baustelle Kölns war der Dom mit mehr als 600 Jahren. Part 1 - Pushkar. After spending about 3 days in Jaipur, we decided to go to Pushkar, in Ajmer Rajasthan. We boarded a shaky non-ac bus from Jaipur, and it took us about 3-4 hours to reach the Ajmer Bus Stand. If Jaipur is Barbie Land, Ajmer is Arkham Asylum. Upon reaching Ajmer, we were a little taken aback by the lack of lighting and noise. Mind you it was around 11:00 pm by the time we reached Ajmer. Ajmer to Pushkar is another 40 mins. The road to Pushkar was extremely secluded around that time. We boarded a rickshaw and started our journey to this small little town. “Dargah Jao, lekin ladkyon ko mat le jao aapke saath” Maybe if there was light, I would have been less scared. But something about the energy in that place was just unsettling. Upon reaching the mouth of Pushkar town, which is like the opening of a street, there was suddenly so much light, people, and noise. It was such a contrast to the way leading up to the place. The rickshaw driver said he could not go any further and that we would have to walk to our hotel. While we were in Jaipur, planning our trip to Ajmer, one of the guests at Pachamama had told us to stay at this place called “Hotel Bharatpur Palace,” and that the couple who runs the hotel is extremely sweet and it has possibly got the best view of the Pushkar lake. We had to walk another kilometer maybe to reach this hotel, on the way, we stopped at a restaurant to eat something, and then resumed our walk. Once again, we were met with shady, quiet, eerie lanes. I genuinely thought I was going to get abducted.
