Here is what I make of this so far: — many are being called to consider that other human beings are not the only frame of reference for how we “should” think, feel and behave — There is the science of a zero point field that transcends materiality and separateness, and that the 2020 Nobel physics winners have proven. — This means the rationalistic and materialistic view of reality is no longer underpinning scientific inquiry. Does seeing repeating number patterns make us special? NO! It makes us the opposite of “special”. I was not able to see these until I had been completely taken apart in an egocentric sense. Until I had been obliterated as a separate being, I was unable to connect in this way to the vaster unified field that existed beyond my separateness (and yet that made it also possible to fully recognise and honour the powerful significance of that separateness). The three that are also the one. This has to do with you, me and us. Vesica Pisces. The state of the goddess, the state of empathy, the state of the red queen, eros (vis-a-vis logos), embodied heart-led intelligence. Witnessed (vis-a-via witness) consciousness. Creation. This process of being obliterated and reassembled is by which we recalibrate our awareness to the unified interconnectedness of being. When I see this quote, I’m transported to my early 20s, when I was studying a Bachelor of Arts majoring in journalism. We were assigned to write an article on a topic of our choosing. I wanted to write about ‘Time’. (I may have been better enrolled in philosophy or physics rather than journalism; still glad I chose journalism.) I was combing the library aisles looking for references, which eluded me. Instead I picked up a book by Erich Fromm, ‘The art of loving’. I stood there wedged between the book aisles for hours, reading nearly the entire book. Why did I not just decide then to switch my topic from ‘Time’ and to ‘Love’? Fromm pointed out that being able to distinguish between good and evil is generally considered a virtue, but biblical scholars generally consider Adam and Eve to have sinned by eating from the Tree of Knowledge. Departing from orthodoxy, Fromm extolled humans acting independently, using reason to establish values rather than adhering to authoritarian values. Ce que ça tend à amener ce genre de cycle la, c’est beaucoup une tendance au blâme et à la de responsabilisation. Certains ont une tendance qui est très ancrée dans le « fawn » ou le « freeze ». Encore une fois, l’involution n’est pas réellement faite parce qu’il n’y pas assez de recul. Tout est tourné vers soi et il n’y a aucun détachement, aucun lâcher prise, aucun équilibre. Sans le vouloir, ça crée une division parce que l’autre est incapable de connecter réellement avec nous. Pour briser le cycle, ça demande de prendre action, de communiquer. Ça ne veut pas dire que les liens seront reconstruits, mais la perspective sera différente, le blâme disparaîtra, le sentiment d’incompétence aussi, il n’y aura plus de victimisation, mais plutôt une responsabilisation. Rebirth in Goddess time: Diary entry September 2003. I had been travelling to the Top End for work. On the left, just out of view, a crocodile floats with a woman inclining on its back. On the right a Queen leans on her King. Me, the Queen, in the “respectable and responsible and important job” in bureaucracy (the “king” I leant upon) and the masters I was doing (another “king”). All reflecting my need for structure and containment, feeling physically safe: able to feed, shelter and support myself. I also needed this king who was social acceptance, belonging, approval so the collective would not harm me, reject me, throw me in gaol, etc. My life raft, to navigate this social realm into which we are born and must find a safe place. Meanwhile a big wave of change comes. Where is “humanity”? The collective? The self as reflected back to oneself from the sea of Otherness? Humanity is on the river bank. Scared. Scarred. Sacred. This is the Holy Communion of Self with Other. To become the pain, and as the pain being felt rather than witnessed. To cross the river and then re-enter the sacred waters. Not as Self or Other. But as the River who is All. Empathy. The one who is witnessed, not the witnesser. At the time I was studying towards a masters in cultural psychology, which I left to take up salsa dancing. Why? I felt called to become the witnessed, not the witnesser. To reconnect with humanity in embodied form. Not through text books but through physical form. Dancing, the antidote to academia. Not to witness the Goddess but to become her. It’s interesting I come back to this place now of struggling with the idea of academia. Back then I ditched an endeavour valued by the collective (gaining a masters) in favour of one valued by me (dancing). Now I stand here again, ditching an endeavour valued by the collective (retiring and fading into the background) in favour of one valued by me, rebirthing and becoming more vivid than ever. Rebirth. A new Queen is Born. And yet, the more things change, the more they stay the same. This is goddess time.

DOING THE FLIP.... In my yoga class yesterday the teacher closed with a powerful directive: 'Make it your intention to keep the mind in service to the heart.' I was hit by its power. I thought 'Yes!' We get lost when we are trying to make the heart be of service to the mind. Often our heart just won't agree with what our head is commanding us to do. We can't always trust it. This is a beautiful way to understand what it means to have a 'Still Mind, Wise Heart' and why we need to do our inner work first. Masterful leaders have already flipped from 'head to heart' to 'heart to head'. When your mind is in service to your heart, it is alert to your values, desires, and visions and will focus on realising them in the external world. Keep it still and clear and it will be a great servant. The collective shift we are all feeling and longing for right now is to: * fulfil our most valuable desires * clear our minds and focus on achieving something meaningful * be our authentic selves * be well and happy * connect and trust * be fully engaged in our work and life purpose These are all inner desires linked directly to our heart. It interests me how northern hemisphere western stories and concepts play out in the southern hemisphere and when seasons are reversed in relation to the stories. In the northern hemisphere stories from this time of year, the earth is getting ready to burst forth, upwards, into spring, expansion and growth, excitement and activity. Whereas in our southern hemisphere, the earth is calling in her harvest, downwards, involution and restoration, peace. This point where the two versions of the story meet feels like a way to balance the two energies, at the time of an equinox, a balancing of the ideas of expansion and contraction. . It feels like globalisation has forced us into a consciousness where we are always producing, and never recovering. Yang energy, action and drive, and with no Yin, stillness and surrender, to restore balance to our own bodies as well as our Earth. I hope to restore the balance, for myself, through art and rest. This is the idea of the stories of Ishtar, Easter, restoring our own inner harmony and through this the harmony of the world. This is my own very personal interpretation of these stories and what they mean to me.
