Hope wurde zusammen mit ihren zwei Geschwistern auf der Straße gefunden. Alle hatten einen großen Schutzengel bei sich und ihnen ist nichts passiert. Sie wurden in Sicherheit gebracht und verbrachten die erste Zeit auf einer privaten Pflegestelle. Nun wurden sie vollständig geimpft und sind bereit für eine eigene Familie. Hope wurde im November 2023 geboren und wenn sie ausgewachsen ist wird sie wohl eine mittelgroße Hündin sein. Hope ist sehr verspielt, freundlich, aufgeschlossen, lieb und liebt es durch den Garten zu toben. Aber auch die ruhigen Momente mit dem Menschen und vor allem die Streicheleinheiten genießt sie sehr. La Lluna és de la colònia Patufet, la vam esterilitzar a finals del 2023. Aquesta setmana la vam tornar a capturar ja que l'alimentadora de la colònia, ens va dir que estava ferida. Ens va costar (intentant capturar-la ens va caure la Moon) pero finalment va caure i la vam poder dur a Vida animal. La pota del darrera hi dur una bona queixalada (suposem que d'un gos) i li ha destrossat el lligament. Ara la tenim a casa, donant-li la medicació que li toca (mínim 10 dies), la operació es complicada i estirar el lligament no sempre surt bé, més endavant valorarem què podem fer ja que actualment la pota no la pot estirar del tot pero no li impedeix fer una "vida normal". If it wasn’t for that day that I walked into that #dogpound in North Central Los Angeles thinking I was going to rescue a #dogs life not knowing that dog was going to rescue me and change my entire life from that day on. If it wasn’t for walking out of that #shelter with #geisha no telling where I would be today. She rescued me and is the reason Shorty’s Rescue, Inc. exist today. I still can not believe we have been doing this for 23 years. We have dealt with so much (both positive and negative) throughout the years, but we are never going to stop. We are here to help them who can not help themselves. We will continue to rescue more of the pit bull / bully type breeds. We will continue to fight for the rights all dog breeds. We will continue to end BSL Laws around the world. “NO!” has never been a word in Shorty Rossi’s vocabulary. BUT............ Please share! What a crazy experience. I live in the mountains, in an area not known for flooding so this was pretty unexpected. My car and home are completely underwater. Everything happened so fast, there wasn’t anytime to get our belongings. Fortunately for us, we have good people around us. We have a place to stay until Wednesday and a friend let us use their vehicle. We are very blessed. I’m not sure where we will be going after Wednesday so if anybody knows anything about a place to stay, please let me know. We will be starting from scratch and I’m sure there are resources that will help us, but I don’t know how long it will take so any help will be appreciated.
