The Autumn season is a time I really like to focus on gratitude and connection to Spirit. There is abundance all around and I have been feeling that overwhelming sense of gratitude specifically for my home. This time last year we were under contract to purchase a home. If I’m being honest it was really a home I pictured myself in but was so desperate to get out of the living situation we were in we exhausted all options. I'm working on making less food because it is just me. I still cook like I'm making for a small army. So I end up having to throw away food because I can't eat it all before it goes bad. So to help I'm making weekly dinner menu's. The Lasagna is single serving Stouffer's. The goulash I will cut the recipe in half so it doesn't make as much. Good morning all and happy Monday! Bran muffins are always a good idea lol. These are wonderful for abundance, stability and balance ✨ Ingredients: ✨2 c bran flakes ✨3/4 c non dairy milk ✨1/2 c apple sauce ✨2 tbsp coconut oil ✨2 tbsp molasses ✨1 tbsp ground flaxseed ✨1 1/4 c wholle wheat flour ✨1/2 c dark brown sugar ✨2 tsp baking powder ✨1 tsp baking soda ✨1/4 tsp sea salt ... 1. Preheat oven to 375 F and line or grease your muffin pan. 2. Soak bran flakes in milk in a large bowl for 30 minutes. 3. Then mix all wet ingredients into the bran flakes followed by al dry. Mix until well combined. While mixing you may state the following or something similar, 'Sacred bran, gift from the earth, bring abundance and balance to my life.' 4. Bake for 20 minutes. Allow to cool for 5 - 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely. ... Will keep about 3 - 4 days. May store in the fridge to keep an extra day or two. ... So this time, I’m going to make a three ring binder grimoire with a fancy handmade leather cover and everything. #samhain season. The fog has become a constant companion since it rolled into the landscape of Wirindi a few days ago. This corresponded with the home fire being lit as we begin the journey into the colder, darker side of the year. Becoming a mother was one of the best things that ever happened to me. It’s cliché I know, but that does not negate the truth. There was a time I felt fearful. A time no one really talks about where you suddenly realize everything has changed. A time nobody could prepare you for. Nothing is as it once was, and nothing is what you thought it would be. I am not fearful to admit this struggle I faced that my life was no longer my own. As a Taurus, the head of the bull came out at the first sight of change and uncomfortability. I look back now and think…what were you so afraid of? For she is the light and wonder of my life. There is nothing I won’t give for her. We begin and end our days together. She watches me. She learnsfrom me. It’s has not been without challenge but it has been with great reward. As I look at this toddler in front of me I feel pride as well. I did it. I made it. I overcame. I conquered Death, I conquered fear and here she is right in front of me. Frolicking fields and chasing the Sunsets and not only did I make it, but so did she. What I did today. Made vegan banana bread- my kids LOVE this and my eldest (12) cried "is that banana bread?! Can I have some?" The moment his eyes landed on it. My daughter also loves it and came running. We had chilli with sausages, rice and tortilla chips for tea- I'll be making some tortilla chips in the week (all being well) and hopefully they'll be nice! I made some granola too, I'm still perfecting it, but it's so nice! I got a 👍 from the kids. I've also looked into loads of different recipes as I wanna make as much from scratch as possible. The Autumn Equinox is almost here. I can feel the cool temperatures rolling in and the crispness in the air. My garden is retreating for the year with maybe one or two small harvests left before our first frost makes it’s appearance. We are descending into the darker half of the year retreating inward. As we inevitably make this transition each year, I like to spend this time in gratitude. .
