While on skomer I was trying to get a little creative and out of my comfort zone, I didn’t want just the typical puffin pictures, although they are nice I wanted to try something different. So I looked to the shadows and used them to my advantage, I used the sun to light the puffin and then used the shadows to create this black background! Many members of our community - especially those living with conditions that have limited treatment options - will look to alternative therapies, supplements, diets and so on, and many will find they benefit them. However, it's vital that patients consult their healthcare professionals before doing so, to ensure that there aren't adverse reactions with other medications, or that they're not masking symptoms that need addressing first. They should also be cautious of those promising cures or quick fixes - not least when they are living with health issues that have no known cures. I made the trip to this rather magical and eerie place today. Twlc y Filiast is a Neolithic chambered tomb in West Wales, it’s top is toppled and leaning. It sits in a primeval glade with a peaty stream tumbling past. Also known as the Kennel of the Greyhound Bitch or Arthur’s Table it feels very atmospheric. It was raining hard which also added to the primeval feeling of the heavy moss coatings and lichens.
