Not forgetting our other fantastic runners from this weekend... Aaron continued his fell race count at Coniston only a week after attempting the 3 Yorkshire Peaks. He unfortunately went over on his ankle but with true Yorkshire grit continued to the finish. Thankfully he's on the mend, as I'm sure more trails are calling!! Paul & James were out around Cragg Vale on Bank Holiday Monday taking on the Coiners Fell Race. Great running from both! Lots of Bank Holiday racing from the Striders, always doing the club proud 💚

The morning after the night before!! Beyond broken today. 3 hrs sleep is bad even for me, but I had to get out to keep my sanity. Still buzzing from Pennine Barrier Ultra , such a great adventure / event.... A very tough 50 miles with almost 3km of climbing So pleased and proud to finish it, and really happy to get round in just over 10 and a half hours, finishing 52nd out of 600 starters and 4th in my age category Wanted to quit a couple of times, especially in the freezing cold at the top of Whernside....
