This transition will be a little disheartening and sad however, this opens a door for self-discovery, independence, and a new opportunity. Take a leap of faith you'll be okay. Now activists listen up, there's a chance that you'll have to help those who have been unjustly kicked out or excluded from groups. That tends to happen especially in very stressful environments. So have things prepared for a guests or lend a helping hand to a companion in need. If you can, if you cannot suggests resources or other people that can help them. This will help you learn more about yourself and your skills when it comes to these situations. Time for #TeatimeAtTheCrossroads Today has been the last day of the 9 day neon novena hosted by the wonderful @kellyann_maddox. It's been my second 9 day novena (and the 2nd lead by Kelly-Ann), and it's been a great, empowering experience. I pulled a card from the Mother Mary Oracle Pocket edition, everyday after praying the rosary. Today it's been "Our Lady of Answered Prayers" what a beautiful message to end this novena with. Praying the rosary is such a calming yet powerful practice. And even though I'm not Christian anymore (I've been raised catholic but left church many years ago) I still honour Mary and praying the rosary seems to be a good way to connect to my ancestors. Schutzzauber Ich persönlich arbeite tatsächlich nicht allzu oft mit Schutz Zaubern sondern eher immer nur dann, wenn ich spüre das ich diesen jetzt gerade erst benötige. Das ist mir vor allem durch mein reflektieren über den Pfad der sich bildet gerade klar geworden. Dafür nutze ich gerne Schutz Gebete. Gern sogar in Teilen den Psalm 91 oder eben selbst verfasste Gebete. Je nachdem was eben gerade besser passt. Dann ziehe ich natürlich gerne auch einen Kreis, allerdings nur wenn es ein wirklich aufwendiges Ritual ist. Also fahr ich den ganzen Klimbim auf: Kerzen in einem Kreis um mich herum anzünden, den Platz danach weihen und zuletzt Kreis energetisch noch ziehen und über das Ritual lang halten. Da das mitunter natürlich zum einen aufwendig ist und auch Kraft kostet habe ich für einige Rituale extra geweihte Kerzen zum Schutz die ich gerne noch mit einem Gebet kombiniere. Das war's eigentlich an dem was ich magisch für mich nutze und ich bin damit zufrieden denn für mich passt es sehr gut und fügt sich gut in das ein was da gerade erblüht. Man kann da tatsächlich noch sehr viel mehr machen, aber das wäre teilweise mehr Schutzzauber als Ritual, daher finde ich, das man schon schauen sollte was für einen persönlich wirklich Sinn macht und was für einen persönlich am besten passt. Es kann der schönste und beste Zauber vor dir liegen, aber wenn du dich mit der Arbeit auf dieser Art nicht wohlfühlst, dann such dir einen Weg wie du ans Ziel kommst. Dafür ist die Magie so wunderbar frei.

After some late night Etsy scrolling, I came across a vintage Tahitian dancer statuette from the long lost shop of Coco Joe’s. However, once the package arrived in the mail and I spent 20 minutes slashing through packing tape with my car keys I was a little disappointed to find a King Kamehameha sitting in front of me. Returning felt like a hassle so I let him sit on my altar where he’s been a cheerful lookout ever since. Kennt ihr eigentlich den Begriff Monolatrie? Wahrscheinlich nicht, so wie ich auch. Ich habe es auch nur zufällig aufgeschnappt. Als ich eine Doku Serie über das alte Testament und da speziell über Moses und sein Wirken gesehen habe. Dort haben Historiker und Theologen ebenfalls über ihre Erkenntnisse gesprochen. Eine davon war eine Theorie auf das erste Gebot bezogen. Ich bin der Herr dein Gott. Du sollst keine anderen Götter haben neben mir. In diesem Gebot wird nicht explizit erwähnt das automatisch die Gottheiten alle unwirksam wurden und aufhörten zu existieren. Immerhin war es zu Moses Zeiten auch üblich das jeder Stamm und jedes Volk seine eigenen Gottheiten hatte und alle haben nebeneinander her existiert. Zudem könnte es auch zu einem Übersetzungsfehler (mutwillig oder nicht) gekommen sein, da das Gebot die Existenz anderer Götter nicht aberkennt. Es besagt nur dass das erwählte Volk sich Gott zuwenden soll und den anderen Gottheiten abschwören sollte. Dies wird als Monolatrie zusammen gefasst. Also das ein Gott existiert, die anderen neben ihm existierenden Entitäten jedoch nicht aberkennt. Für den Polytheismus gibt es das auch, das nennt sich dann Polylatrie und bezieht sich auf die Verehrung mehrerer Götter während man auch andere neben ihnen anerkennt. Spannend oder?
