🦷 Pacientul își anulează programarea? 🦷 Nicio problemă, când ai mereu o carte după tine. Și de data aceasta o carte foarte utilă despre cum să mănânci (chiar și carbohidrați, doar tuturor ne plac și până la urmă avem nevoie de ei) astfel încât să nu îți dereglezi nivelul glicemiei din sânge. 🦷 Lăsând ulterior cartea pe birou, o altă pacientă diabetică, m-a întrebat dacă sufăr și eu de diabet, pentru că citesc o astfel de carte. 🦷 Mi-am dat seama (o dată în plus) cât de multă nevoie este să normalizăm prevenția și să o includem în stilul de viață și în mentalitățile noastre, ca pe un obicei firesc. 🦷 I-am recomandat desigur cartea pacientei mele, la fel cum v-o recomand și vouă și oricărui om care pur și simplu vrea să se simtă mai energic și mai sănătos (diabetic sau nu). 🦷 Cel mai bun moment de a citi cărți de nutriție este înainte de a dezvolta boli de sănătate în relație cu alimentația. 🦷 Acum e momentul perfect să schimbăm cursul unor afecțiuni, informându-ne și aplicând în viața de zi de zi măcar 50% din informația primită. 🦷 Iar toate recomandările primite în această carte pentru echilibrarea curbelor glicemice se întâmplă să coincidă cu principiile alimentare generale pentru prevenția cariei dentare. 🦷 Tu ce părere ai? Die ersten beiden Bilder: Normaler Tag mit vielen Kohlenhydraten, Reis, Nudeln, helles Brot. Viele Ausschläge. Die Bilder 3 und 4: Reduzierte Kohlenhydrate. Viel Proteine und Fett. Kaum ein Ausschlag in der Glukose-Kurve. Einziges High war Mittags, durch Reis mit Süß-Saurer Soße. Mega interessant zu sehen, wie der Körper auf die unterschiedliche Nahrungszufuhr reagiert. Und wie schwierig es ist, wirklich Lebensmittel zu finden, die nicht voller Zucker sind. Faustformel im Supermarkt: Umso günstiger ein Produkt, umso höher die Wahrscheinlichkeit, dass einfach viel Zucker beigemischt ist, weil Zucker billig ist. ❤️ I love Dr Pradip Jamnades and have learnt so much from his you tube videos. He is a dr that is taking what he sees in the sick and passing this information onto the future generations to help them avoid debilitating heart problems and other chronic diseases. He talks about ultra processed sugars and I can tell you it’s a myth that these are in the US are the Uk is ok. My daughter was allergic to these so we had to avoid them so I spent months of my life emailing manufacturers to check and these corn sugars are in many sweets, smoothies, breads, children’s VITAMINS & MEDICINE including probiotics, icecream in HUGE amounts to name a few. They are shown to damage gut health (which we know is the centre of all health), hugely increase risk of diabetes and autoimmunity. Why are manufacturers allowed to out these in kids foods with no regulation at all? 🙄 😔. These are in things like: dextrose, maltodextrin, glucose, and natural flavours and many more. When my kids were little and they were given a pack of haribo I’d quickly tip half in the bin and give them the pack without them ever noticing, now they know if someone gives them sweets have a few save the rest. I’ve also explained sweets are better after a meal when possible as the veg fibre slows the sugar spike - thanks #glucosegoddess for this info. Der erste Tag war schon spannend und aufschlussreich. Man sieht ziemlich genau die einzelnen Mahlzeiten, die ich über den Tag gegessen haben. Zum Frühstück gab es, wie fast immer, Haferflocken mit Apfel und Milch. Wie ich jetzt gelernt habe natürlich ziemlich viel Fruktose durch den Apfel und Glukose durch die Haferflocken. Dementsprechend schon ein guter Ausschlag (1) Zwischendurch als Snack einen Proteinriegel mit 9gr. Zucker. Nächster Ausschlag. (2) Dann zum Mittagessen ein Toast mit Eiern und Knäckebrot mit Humus. (3) 1. Große Überraschung war das Essen am Nachmittag. Es gab Hähnchenbrustfilet, Brokkoli und Reis. Dazu als Topping Joghurt mit Zitrone und Minze. Kraftsportlers Liebling. Trotzdem mit Abstand der heftigste Ausschlag an dem Tag. Hätte ich so nicht erwartet (4) Interessant dann abends nach dem Sport. Ich war 10km in moderater Geschwindigkeit laufen. Da ich danach noch sehr viele Kalorien übrig hatte, habe ich mich einmal quer durch die Küche gefuttert. Darunter ein Proteinshake, Erdnüsse im Teigmantel, Quark mit Ananasstücken, Toastbrot mit Mandelmus und Studentenfutter. Mindestens so viele Kohlenhydrate wie am Nachmittag. Dafür erst gar kein Effekt, dann ein Absinken und ein Anstieg erst gegen Mitternacht als ich schon im Bett war. Aber auch wesentlich geringer als am Nachmittag. Gelesen hatte ich, dass Bewegung nach dem Essen einen positiven Effekt auf die Glukosekurve hat. Aber Sport eine halbe Stunde vor dem Essen scheint mindestens den selben Effekt zu haben. (5) Key-Erkenntnisse aus Tag 1: - Trotz augenscheinlich sehr gesundem Essen (mageres Fleisch, Reis, Gemüse, Haferflocken, Obst) doch ziemlich starke Ausschläge - Energydrinks ohne Zucker haben bei mir keine Auswirkungen auf den Blutzuckerspiegel. Es wurde ja mal vermutet, dass Süßungsmittel eine Insulinreaktion auslösen und den Blutzuckerspiegel senken können. Ist aber wissenschaftlich nicht belegt und konnte ich bei mir auch nicht feststellen. Kaffee hat übrigens auch keinen Effekt ;-) - Sport scheint ein super Mittel zu sein, um seine Glukosekurve flach zu halten. #healthyfood #healthylifestyle #healthyliving #glucosegoddess #cgm #probierengehtüberstudieren

UNPOPULAR POV: As a T1D for the past 25 years, there have been so many times I just didn't eat because I really couldn't take dealing with another Hypo or Hyper...it's such a lousy and scary feeling IYKYK. I have never been diagnosed with an Eating disorder, but surely think that Type 1 Diabetes is in and of itself "an eating disorder". it's basically the bodies inability to process carbohydrates. There are many times we are enduring a Hypo for example, and have just eaten our meal and yet we are forced to ingest to raise our bloodsugar so we don't die. The same thing (food) that can kill us, at other times can save our lives. Oftentimes, I feel like PAVLOV'S DOG. I'm not looking for sympathy, judgment or to be labeled. I don't need to be fixed. Walk a day in a Type one diabetics shoes and you will get a glimpse of what we endure...each and every day. Being a full-time Pancreas is hard AF. While some may label me as having an eating disorder...I call it sometimes necessary for my MENTAL WELL-BEING and also Suicide Prevention.
