✨ REAL YOU TUBE ✨ Remember when YouTube first started? It was this interesting place where people uploaded random stuff for fun. There was very little ego, if anything a lot of it was embarrassing, funny, and weird. Random stuff would go viral. (Remember the Double Rainbow Guy? Chocolate Rain? Miranda Sings?) Joy was shared. Passions were amplified. Lives were changed. Careers were created. I started uploading musical performances and vlogs around that time. Then in 2011 after synchronistically meeting @leijaturunen, my Soul felt super called to share more. Traveling in Bali alongside @dramandanoelle inspired me to create daily / travel vlogs. I realized what an incredibly amazing tool YouTube can be for celebrating life, sharing inspiration, and generating Divine Presence / Magical Connections. One tip that really helped me was to imagine that the camera lens was actually the Eye of God / Goddess / Godde. Maybe that’s why I felt safe to allow my Soul to to bloom open, and experienced Beautiful Souls opening and cross-pollinating inspiration together. A few years ago I saw deepakchopra stare a live talk and he said something that stuck with me: “with the internet, we are re-programming the planetary mind”. Even though in recent years there’s been a shift to more ego, in many ways I still feel there’s Opportunity here. To be the change we wish to see. To be the leaders of our lives. To courageously crack open and seed inspiration online. It’s easy to sit back and judge from the peanut gallery, but choosing to be a living example of the solutions we seek? Now that’s Revolutionary… And honestly, that’s what my Soul craves. Glorious Authenticity. Relaxing into Divine Nakedness. Sharing Real Time tools and inspirational jewels. 127 days That’s how long it’s been since my last cold plunge. Not surprising the last 127 days have been highly cerebral, patterned and transformative for me. The last 127 days have taught me so much. 🦋 I’ve had the opportunity to witness old stories playing out in my reality. 🦋 I’ve had the opportunity to challenge some of my historically limiting beliefs. 🦋 I have found deeper healing within myself. 🦋 I am embracing rapid transformation. 🦋 I am following the nudges. 🦋 I am resting and taking care. Today I fully broke that old cycle and let the old version of me go. I have set down what isn’t serving me 127 times (or more) since January 13,2024. In an effort to survive, our species has evolved to avoid discomfort. Technology of all kinds has given us the opportunity to create a culture around comfort. And that's great right? Well, being comfortable is awesome but avoiding discomfort will quickly leave us feeling stuck, lost, frustrated and even unfulfilled. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, people-pleasing DOESN’T WORK. Well, it doesn’t work if you want strong, healthy, & fulfilling relationships. All of the behaviors you do in hopes of creating more closeness & intimacy: · saying yes when you want to say no · overgiving even when you’re burnt out · avoiding conflict at all costs · not saying how you really feel · shrinking your needs · being overly agreeable & go with the flow · not setting boundaries · never disagreeing or sharing an unpopular opinion Causes you to lose yourself. All of those habits & tendencies listed above require a deep disconnection & dissociation from your feelings, needs, & wants. And in losing yourself, you also lose the chance at real intimacy, safety, & closeness. You might physically keep the relationship or friendship, but you’ll still be feeling the emotional loneliness you’ve been trying to avoid. I used to be obsessed with self help and was a certified spiritual junkie. I went to retreats, workshops, read books, meditated, did yoga, all of it. Despite these different tools, I just kept feeling I needed to keep growing & getting better. I was never good enough. Then I chose to become a mama. I feel that it is difficult, so yes, it is a feeling, I'm not sure how this changes anything? -Can you prove to me that: The reasons you just stated are more true to who you are, then the opposite positive reasons of who you are? No, really sit with this: make a list, write it down And prove it to yourself! You'll come to realise that there's so much more proof that you are capable. It's just the belief you've grown fond of, that's holding you back. And that causes the difficult feeling Huh, that's so interesting! And it feels weirdly different right now -So what if it's actually easy? How would you do it? Well then, I'd do it like this 》 -And what small first step can you take, right now, towards that? -Do you feel the difference? It feels very strange to me, it feels unknown, but in a good way? -Yes, it's still a bit unknown to your system to experience ease in combination with something you've conditioned yourself to be difficult. Embrace the unknown, that's the place where we get to start installing new habits. I applaud you in your journey! Thank you for taking the leap into the unknown. You are creating those beautiful slides on canva and selling on stories…yet inquiries are not coming in and then when they do come in, you find yourself glued to your phone to see if they are replying to your dm’s. A new door has opened and I feel so blessed and thankful to walk through it. It feels gentle, welcoming, warm. After a very long stint, I’m getting to sit still for a period of time, in regards to moving. I also, for the first time ever since becoming a mother, have two weeks to myself. So I’m gently settling in. Appreciating my own company. Looking forward to the new friends I will get to know better. And basking in the beauty and the nourishment that this place so generously offers. It has been quite a journey here (and of course the journey forever continues), both blissful and at times challenging. It’s the stew of life. The textured colours that make the painting rich with depth and scale. Nothing is flat nor linear but full of shape and contour. That’s what I’ve, at least, learned about life. In this moment I say thank you to all the seen and unseen support that brought me here. For all the synchronicity and serendipity. For dreaming. For remembering that magic and miracles do exist. For never giving up on my heart even though it’s had its days of pain, so too is it now feeling its joy. A few months ago, I realized I was no longer safe or welcome in many of the online spaces I found myself in and so I decided to remove myself from every single space and relationship that no longer served me and start over - to build from the ground up. A rebirth if you will. Part of that process has been embracing new friends who hold the same values as me, who accept me as I am, and who root me on in my life’s endeavors. You know, as friends do. 💛 One of those new friends is named - SAUNDRA! And she too has a husband named Ryan. 🤯🤯🤯 I have never had a friend with my same name - Let alone with husbands who also share the same name. And I can’t help but feel this was divinely orchestrated. ✨✨✨ Today @adhd.organization.coach and I met for a zoom to collaborate on how we can support each other professionally since much of our work as coaches is in the same lane. And it was so validating & empowering to connect and be inspired again! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 My dad snapped this picture of me on that Zoom through the kitchen window and when I saw it I was flooded with feelings because here is what I saw: I saw someone who is brave and willing to start over. I saw someone who is resilient and flexible - who ain’t got no quit, as they say. I saw someone who is vulnerable and oh so human. I saw someone who has experienced a lot of grief in the last 7 months and she still shows up. I saw someone who is EXCITED to have the opportunity to build her business and life rooted in authenticity and integrity. About this time in 2020 I was at an alltime high, feeling great, confident, able and willing. I finally said yes to what I felt was my destiny. Little did I know that in order to get there I needed to completely deconstruct and reconstruct my personality, unlearn everything I had been taught and go through the depths of hell a few times. We're now 4 years later, which is how long it took me to find myself again... my authentic self this time. I realize a lot of people are now going through the same process or starting their journey. It's not easy, it will be hard, you may lose a lot and you may cry a lot. If this is you, then let this story be a reminder that there is light at the end of the tunnel. That there is a lot more to be found than whatever it is you may have to let go underway. What will remain at the end of the road will be what truly resonates with your authentic you and your authentic core values. I lost a lot of friends yet found new ones who care for me in ways I could have never imagined. I lost my family yet feel more safe, supported and nurtured with and by my new-found family and my children than I ever did before. I found my true calling in life, work with passion and know this is only the beginning. I regained joy, health, abundance and a lust for life I never experienced before. All this doesn't mean I have arrived. I'll probably go through more stuff, just like everyone does. I hope so because I hope I never stop growing. What I do know is that I'm no longer afraid of it. I'm at a new beginning and this is the first day of a newborn life... one that truly fits me, one I can wholeheartedly say yes to. If you currently find yourself on that same path I wish you a wonderfully healing journey, a tonne of courage and a heap of strength. Know that no matter how hard it gets, if you push through, you'll feel forever safe and loved, because you'll be able to provide that for yourself. •.•29•.• Morgen werde ich 29, es ist die Ziellinie meiner 20er. Es fühlt sich merkwürdig an. Ich dachte immer mit 30 ist man super erwachsen, dachte früher, dass ich in dem Alter schon 2-fache Mama bin, Verheiratet und fest im Leben stehe. Und irgendwie bin ich nichts davon. Das schöne dabei ist, dass es okay für mich ist. Mein Leben gefällt mir. Ich mag diese Reise auf der ich bin, das suchen nach mir selbst und immer wieder bei mir ankommen, um dann wieder verloren zu gehen. Es ist wie ein Tanz in Trance, die Bewegungen so, wie sie eben kommen getragen von der Musik. Und die Musik heißt Leben. Sie wünsche die ich mit Anfang 20 hatte waren nicht wirklich meine. Es war Sehnsucht nach Liebe, der Wunsch meinen damaligen Partner an mich zu ketten und dann den nächsten und den nächsten. Erst in der zweiten Hälfte der 20er durfte ich da tiefe wunde Wunden heilen und tue es immer noch. Ich weiß nicht, ob die 29 nochmal einen großen Tusch für mich spielt oder ob es einfach alles ineinander überfließt. Beides ist okay. Denn eins habe ich bis hierher gelernt, ich schaffe alles. Es gibt nichts, was mich daran hindert wieder aufzustehen. Und in einem Jahr, sitze ich wieder hier und schreibe einen Text, versuche die 20er irgendwie in Worte zu fassen. Also warum philosophiere ich schon heute, als wär morgen mein 30er? Vielleicht um noch mal zu zelebrieren. Um nochmal viel intensiver diese Zeit wahr zu nehmen. Vielleicht um nochmal durchzuatmen bevor der Sprung in die nächste Zehnerziffer ansteht. Oder einfach, weil es mir viel bedeutet. Weil Ängste da sind und gleichzeitig so viele Glücksgefühle. ⚡️Shout it loud and proud. One thing I had to come to terms with is that there is no one else who can believe my vision into life. I am the only one with the vision, so I am the only one who can create it. I also had to shift my beliefs so that I could connect with God putting the vision in my head. If God put it there, then I was meant to have it. When you shift your beliefs so that you act from that place, you begin to feel confident in yourself to be the person to create your reality. Confidence is more than surface level, it's all about self trust. And the surest way to self trust is self belief. Today started out with me waking up tired to a crying (and poopy) baby and a massive sinus headache. The not so cute but *very* real work and perseverance that goes into raising children and being a mom. The work that doesn’t stop just because we got a day with our name on it. Feeling grateful for the new pathways that are opening up to me. For this feeling of trusting life and feeling supported by it. Our beliefs are so potent: either working for or against us. I worked on switching around some of the beliefs I felt I was creating. Looking to have a new perspective, seeing through a new lens. And just like hatred begets hatred, love begets love. Gratitude begets gratitude. So on and so forth. I will never forget that shadow is a part of the light and that light always emerges from the shadow and that this dance is a part of this existence. But in a moment when I feel the light is shining, I feel such gratitude for the lightness of being I experience within it. The softening of surrender. The comfort of trust. I love sharing my authentic journey — honesty is a core value for me and I’ve not been one to shy away from sharing an opinion when asked… I have loved building community on social media for over a decade with friends all over the globe. Social media is how I started my first business and truly the industry I started my career… it’s social and connection and mostly fun! Being an early adopter of platforms like MySpace, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Tumblr, Vine… You name it… I’ve tried it and built a presence there over the last 15 years and build community. I’ve built community for myself and dozens of brands in the digital landscape. Even though I haven’t worked in social media for around 3 years now, this channel is personal to me and I manage it myself so my authentic voice is present. I’ve learned over time it’s more important to focus on the platforms I love, cultivating community and connections there than trying to be everywhere and do everything for everyone. (Big life lesson too) Earlier this year I experimented with posting a minimum of three times a day on Instagram… Mixing up images and reels and doing all the things to try to extend my reach and visibility playing around to see what works now. I’ve learned a lot, and I’ve also learned that the intention behind it is everything. And posting that much everyday isn’t the energy I want to bring to my feed. I prefer to be in flow. Sharing when things are authentic for me. So you won’t see a certain number of post a week… You will see me show up when I’m genuinely excited about things or have messages to share. I don’t know what else I can commit to at this time. I do know I really enjoy showing up here most the time, sharing authentically about what I’m moving through and bringing you all along for the journey. I feel if my story can help even one person in their lives I’m honored to share. Yet I’ve been feeling more and more that maybe disappearing from the Internet sounds nice.
