Weitere Einblicke zu meiner Geschichte mit LongCovid… Ein paar Tage nachdem die Infektion abgeklungen war und ich wieder arbeiten ging fing es auch schon an - oder ging besser gesagt weiter - mit bleibenden Symptomen. Es war ein fließender Übergang wenn man so möchte. In der Arbeit war ich unkonzentriert, jegliche Anstrengung (egal ob körperlich oder geistig) bereitete mit Schwierigkeiten, ich konnte mich nur schwer für was motivieren und war mit allem überfordert… genauso war es auch privat. Das schlimmste Erlebnis war die erste Dusche mit Haare waschen. Während der Dusche war mir schwindlig, ich bekam Kopfschmerzen und Herzrasen und mir war brennheiß und eiskalt zur gleichen Zeit. Nachdem ich fertig war musste ich mich hinlegen. Ich wollte schon die Rettung rufen, weil ich dachte ich hätte womöglich eine Herzattacke… nach 15-20 Minuten hatte sich alles wieder halbwegs beruhigt, aber ich war komplett ausgelaugt. 💨Windy Wed💨 First Anti Inflammatory Swim after Easter break And it feels like the UK is stuck in some kind of Extended Winter Storm 😳 High Winds 💨💨💨💨 Rain ☔️☔️☔️☔️☔️☔️☔️ Clouds ⛈️⛈️⛈️⛈️⛈️⛈️ And after last weeks attack of 5 days I’m currently on another Steriod Bridge Therapy 💊💊💊 Status Migrainous Easter was extremely hard to manage esp as having my young daughter home from school 👧🏼 it was all hands on deck to get through the best and only way we could 👨👩👧 So I was relieved and so excited to get back to the lake to swim 🏊🏻♀️🏊🏻♀️🏊🏻♀️ But was soon stopped in my lane when looking out at the lake 😬 Vestibular Migraine and Migraine itself can cause anxiety and panic attacks around change 🙈 Change is not something we or our brains are comfortable with so when I arrived to find the lake lay out, and distance extended I felt extremely overwhelmed 🙃 Water temps are rising unlike the weather itself ☔️ so swimmers are allowed to swim longer and further 🏊🏻♀️🏊🏻♀️🏊🏻♀️🏊🏻♀️ But with the high winds causing choppy waters I struggle to swim as it triggers a sea sickness while I swim 🤮🤮 Nausea and Swimming Dizzyness and Winds Swimming Choppy Waters but Further Had my head in a tail spin just thinking about it and how my brain was going to cope 😬 But I was there 🐟 I drove 40 mins to be there 🚙 No choice but to go in 🐟 I did 2 laps of the new layout 550 meters 🐟 Felt very dizzy and unstable after but the life guards are just amazing and supportive I’m so thankful for all there help and assurance getting me in and out 🏊🏻♀️ Being the last one in 🐟 Last one out 🐟 But the best part is the feeling I have control over my anxiety now 🐟 it’s taken over 3 years to control my panic attacks 🐟 I finally feel I’m in control again 💪 But panic attacks are real and there very complicated to manage 😬 It takes time care and lots of patience to develop the skills to manage them 🫶🏼 Any panic migrainers reading this please Breath Talk Be kind to yourself Your not alone #panicattacks #panicdisorder #panicmigraine #symptomatic #migraine #Vestibular #breathe #talk #bekindtoyourself #yournotalone

St. Jude scientists found that immune cells in people up to six months before an influenza (flu) infection could accurately predict if an individual would develop symptoms. “We’ve been struggling for decades, if not centuries, to learn why some people get sick with infections and some don’t,” said Richard Webby, PhD, Department of Host-Microbe Interactions. The study found specific immune cells were associated with increased protection, while others increased susceptibility to developing symptoms after catching the virus. #Lauren Bright Pacheco At ages 3 and 4, Casey often said, “Mommy, my legs hurt. Can you carry me?” When taken to the doctors they said it was “probably just her growth plates”. As Casey grew up, she loved playing sports. But she remembers always feeling awkward when running during her softball games. Ultimately, she found her comfort zone swimming in a small competitive environment. Fast forward to her life as a mom, caretaker for her father while being a nursing student up to around her 35th birthday when one of her coworkers teases her about her ‘sashay swing’ while walking the halls during her shifts at the nursing home. Casey is puzzled. But as she is becoming increasingly tired, she changes jobs, taking a position in a pulmonary office/clinic.
