An interesting fact about the Moon in Human Design is that it's a DRIVING FORCE! In the Body Graph, you have a Design Moon and a Personality Moon. So the Design Moon would be your subconscious driving force and the Personality Moon would be your conscious driving force. . Wherever the Moon in Transit lands, that will be an indicator of what is driving you in that moment. The Moon rules emotions and how we process them, so this "driving force" will usually be an emotionally related one. However, the Moon is not JUST a Driving Force. It also represents "FOCUS". Journaling Prompts for Personal Decolonization: A Beginning What are some actions you can takin in your daily life to decolonize and support Indigenous peoples and communities? These are difficult, heart-wrenching times. As someone who has facilitated countless conversations and lived experience across many intersectional identities, I know we need a starting point. So, I pose these prompts as a personal invitation, a place for deeper reflection. However, before attempting to step into shoes you haven't walked in, I call you home- home to your own context. When I think about what's happening globally, I return to the beginning: contextualizing myself as a Boricua of the Diaspora living on Turtle Island. I ask: how did we get here? What did we "buy" into? How do we perpetuate, simply by living here, the structures created by the ever-present spirit of colonialism? I believe in rebuilding our capacity (once so strong) to hold multiple perspectives with humility and to question the privileges some of us possess. I invite you to gently engage with these questions. The worldwide change we seek begins with us personally, interpersonally, and then communally and systemically. As the sun moves through each of the Quantum Human Design™ gates over the course of a year, I'm sharing 7 perspectives for the theme of that gate. This is my synthesis of the Quantum Human Design™ work of Karen Curry Parker and the Energy Leadership™ work of Bruce D. Schneider. 🚀 As you practice applying this 7-level framework to anything from energetic themes to a traffic jam, you'll take small, achievable steps that add up to a giant leap in your impact and fulfillment in every area of life. My interpretation of this #quantumhumandesign gate through the lens of #energyleadership: 😞 Level 1: I don’t allow myself to receive. I judge myself when I can’t do it all on my own, and I’m burned out from trying. 😡 Level 2: I refuse to receive. I don’t trust anyone else to help me. I’ll show everyone I’ve made it on my own. 🙂 Level 3: It's scary to place my trust in the universe, but I’m willing to work hard and experiment with allowing myself to receive. 🤗 Level 4: I love giving so others can receive. When I give, I receive it all back and more. My cup overflows with gratitude for the gifts in my life. 😁 Level 5: I gratefully receive support and blessings from others and the universe, because I know how fulfilling it is for them to give. When I allow myself to receive, I inspire others to allow abundance to flow into their lives. 😍 Level 6: I allow myself to receive the bountiful blessings of life. Embark on a soul-nurturing journey through Gate 2: Allowing, The Gate of the Direction of Self! From May 3rd to May 7th, we find ourselves immersed in the profound energies of receptivity and trust in Source. This gate gifts us with the ability to tap into our inner navigation system, guiding us towards our true Genius and most Authentic Self. As we traverse through this gate, we encounter both the gifts and challenges it presents. We embrace the flexibility and adaptability it offers, allowing us to be stabilizers and way-showers for others along the way. However, we also face the challenge of compromising our authenticity and overcommitting ourselves out of fear of not being seen or supported. Yet, amidst these challenges lies a valuable lesson - to love ourselves enough to open up to the abundant flow of support, love, and abundance that surrounds us. There are 64 Gates in the Human Design system. Gates represent specific energetic themes that give you further insight into your personality, what drives you, your life purpose, themes in your relationships, what fulfills you creatively, and even how your intuition works and how you connect to Source. Each active Gate in your Chart adds a different theme or “flavor” to your personality. The position of the planets at the moment of your birth determines which Gates are defined in your Chart. Your defined Gates are energies you experience consistently. Your undefined Gates will be experienced in multiple ways depending on who you’re with and where you are. Like all the energies in the chart, there is a high and a low expression of each Gate. As you go through the Gates in your Chart, ask yourself how that energy may be influencing your life. Welcome to Journaling Prompts for Personal Decolonization: A Beginning How has colonization affected your family history and culture? These are difficult, heart-wrenching times. As someone who has facilitated countless conversations and lived experience across many intersectional identities, I know we need a starting point. So, I pose these prompts as a personal invitation, a place for deeper reflection. However, before attempting to step into shoes you haven't walked in, I call you home- home to your own context. When I think about what's happening globally, I return to the beginning: contextualizing myself as a Boricua of the Diaspora living on Turtle Island. I ask, how did we get here? What did we "buy" into? How do we perpetuate, simply by living here, the structures created by the ever-present spirit of colonialism? I believe in rebuilding our capacity (once so strong) to hold multiple perspectives with humility and to question the privileges some of us possess. I invite you to gently engage with these questions. The worldwide change we seek begins with us personally, interpersonally, and then communally and systemically. Did you know that Human Design can also help with your decision making? Human Design Authority is how the Human Design System reconnects us back to our body’s knowing, which doesn’t always match what our brain says is right for us. Human Design experts will say this is a more reliable way to make decisions. But, honestly, that’s for each of us to figure out for ourselves. Because above all else, Human Design is meant to be lived. And we can’t really know unless we try it (amiright Line 3 profiles??) So each of the authorities brings us into our bodies. Even the “Self Authority,” which finds clarity through hearing themselves speak about something, comes down to a body knowing. Authority recognizes and honors that our bodies have wisdom to share with us, and provides us with an alternate way to make decisions in our own best interests. My advice for people when they are first starting to follow their authority is to make it super low risk. Use it to decide what to have for dinner, or what movie to see this weekend. And when you tune in and get the YES or NO, follow that guidance as often as you can. We are constantly abandoning our own desires in favor of what others want, and this is a small way we can start to overwrite that pattern. But it has to feel safe to do so. And sometimes, the easiest, least scary decision is to ignore your knowing and follow the logic. Or say yes when you really want to say no. And that’s perfectly okay! You’ll get plenty more chances.
