I did it. Finished all of Sarah J Maas’ ACOTAR series with ‘A Court of Silver Flame’. I finished it 2 days ago but I needed to process. Honestly was blown away by this book. Started out the book dreading the focus on Nesta because she was just straight up a b*tch through out the whole series but I’m glad I stuck to it and I actually came out loving it. 💕 Nesta made me so mad with how she treated everyone around her who only wanted to help, especially Cassian. There were many times I was left yelling at her “What the hell!!” when it came to her and how she treated his patience and compassion. (A whole lot of spice though practically every 2-4 chapters out of 80 so a lot compared to the others… super ramped up but I don’t mind.) Cassian doesn’t “heal” her or coddle her, he empowers her to fight her demons on her own which I LOVE!! He gives her the tools instead of fixing her problems for her. The book does a really great job at diving into why Nesta is as nasty and prickly as she is to herself and others. Ended up really understanding her and no longer hating her nearly as much as I had and actually felt some pity. I finished the book in full blown tears more than the others in the series. I hate saying goodbye to these characters. I mean I cried damn hard. 😅 I think it’s because I see myself in Nesta and want the same feeling of belonging finally. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 🌶️🌶️🌶️ Synopsis: Nesta Archeron has always been prickly-proud, swift to anger, and slow to forgive. ✨ Book review of A court of thorns and roses by @sarahjmaas ✨📚 Feyre made me feel all the emotions and I felt so bad for her. The responsibilities she had to shoulder just because her family took her for granted and didn't want to move a finger. The world is so good that I don't have words to describe it and I'm sure that this is going to be one of those series that gets lots of re-reads because for me this book is summer- warm, fuzzy but also brutal. Tamlin seems like a good guy, but I think there is something genuinely wrong with him. ACOTAR apriciation post✨✨✨ Which was your favourite Acotar book? ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️,5/5 A court of thorns and roses was my favourite of all series (i know Its a bit controversial). I loved how the płot thickened and thickened until the big finale. How there was character development, trauma, and of course a lot of romance. But Also the world building and Magic system was quite Well put togheder. Im definetly a SJM fan and always will be. This is accualy the book that got me into bookstagram in the first płace and brought back my love for reading that has been put down to colect dust in my soul. I loved the main character and i loved how much i could relate to her on many levels in my life. Also, the tension✨. It was there and i loved every part of it. None of my friends had read it so I had to just there with my feelings all by myself. I have always loved fantasy, but ACOTAR was the first fantasy book I had picked up since 2013. Reading ACOTAR felt like getting a piece of me back. My shelves are full of fantasy books now & I truly feel like I’m going on a journey when I read. I don’t know who I was trying to convince for those years when I said suspense/thriller was my favorite genre. 😂 This reread was wonderful. It was so cool to pick up on all the hints/similarities to SJM’s other series. I fell in love with each & every character all over again. Hello Booksta, Nouvelle Chronique lecture. On va finir avec ACOTAR, avec le tome 4. Un palais de Flammes d’argent est concentré plus sur Nesta et Cassian. Si je devais donner un mot pour définir ce tome ce serait l’acceptation. Personnellement, j’ai bien aimé ce tome, mais à la fin j’ai trouvé qu’il manquait quelque chose, des choses laissées en suspens/non traité. Pour ce qui est censé être le dernier tome de la saga ACOTAR cela a été un peu décevant. Feyre étant très inquiète pour sa sœur, elle va l’obliger à quitter son taudis pour aller s’entraîner au pavillon du vent avec Cassian et Azriel le matin et travailler à la bibliothèque le reste de la journée. Its very difficult to try and write a non spoiler review, whilst explaining how I felt. I knew what was coming, the scene that I dreaded, and even though I told myself I WILL NOT CRY….. I started crying paragraphs before it happens. Reading for a second time did not make it any easier. You get to see so much more of the other characters here. The sacrifices they make, the deeper background and also all the twists and things I didnt see coming. It’s official: I have a love-hate relationship with ACOMAF 💞👿 As promised (a while ago) I would review the second book in the ACOTAR series by Sarah J.Maas. I felt a lot reading this book. I was bored, excited, hopeful, disappointed, pleased, annoyed and many more I can’t express. In general I feel like both ACOTAR and ACOMAF have an extremely long build up to some action. I liked ACOMAF better because there was more action until I found it a bit boring again. Translation wise it’s a disaster. I wouldn’t and didn’t dare to say it before I read a couple of pages in the original version. A court of wings and ruin I’m definitely reading in the original version. I hope I can because it’s not that easy. ⚠️ SPOILERS ⚠️ Review of ACOMAF 🦇 I’m still indecisive about my opinion so I’m going to mention things a liked and disliked. Lovelovelove 💕💞💕💞 I definitely like the romance 🥰 I love friends to lovers and as most people would say this is a case of enemies to lovers, I didn’t experience it that way. For me they became friends and afterwards lovers. Even though you feel tension throughout the whole time since they met, I feel like it is done right to let them be friends first before lovers so they have a chance in a relationship with a good foundation of trust. I very much liked the part with the spinster, loved the action. It was just like Hansel and Gretel. I also liked the concept of hidden parts they have to find. I feel like a lot is inspired by Harry Potter. Such as the Horcruxes, the hidden city Velaris and the tour around. The chamber with all the treasures felt like a safe in Gringotts. I find this annoying and fun at the same time. I like the references you can make in real life. It is really stereotypical but the relationship between Tamlin en Feyre definitely was toxic and I feel like she got herself stuck in a narcissistic dynamic where she let other people live her life and wasn’t able anymore to lead her life herself. I think my biggest problem with the book was the filler pages. i know it’s a fantasy book for a reason but a lot of it felt pretty dull at times and i know this isn’t everyone’s favorite of the series but it still bothers me a little. I did enjoy the book a lot just not to the point of a 4.5+ I will say, this definitely helped me out of my slump! I read like almost 200 pages the first night i picked this up which is the most i’ve read since being in this slump haha! 📚 A Court of Silver Flames by @therealsjmaas • • • Words fail me when it comes to this book. I started the first ACOTAR book about a year ago, last Christmas-time, and could NOT put it down. The books that followed destroyed any sense of rationality I had for the following months- the found family, the love and the friendships within this series are so loveable. This book differs, as it doesn’t show Nesta as the troubled sister in need of saving, it shows her as the person who got thrown into this and didn’t ask for it, but did it for reasons beyond herself, and got copious amounts of trauma sprouting from various areas that were left out of Feyre and Rhy’s stories. If I thought I loved Feyre and Rhy’s story, Nesta and Cassians destroyed me an unfathomable amount. This series is, as is for many others, a lifeline thrown to me just when needed. @therealsjmaas ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ stars can’t describe it !

✨Book 3 / 100✨ ⭐️⭐️⭐️ ⭐️ . ✨ ✨ Potential Spoilers ✨ ✨ Ok, so I know this is one of the most popular books in the ACOTAR series but it fell a little flat for me. Just hear me out before you scroll past this! . A bit of a synopsis: Nesta Archeron has always been quick to anger. This only heightened when she was thrown into the Cauldron against her will and made Fae. The one that angers her the most is Cassian. As the tension grows between the two, news that the human queens have made a dangerous alliance breaks. The peace that everyone has worked so hard to achieve across the realm may be in danger. It will be up to Nesta and Cassian to face their past and fight the evil that could tear their world apart. . Favorite Quote: “Our stories are worth telling” -Gwyn . Let me start of with what I loved about this one…Cassian!!! Ok but seriously, I love that we got to see Nesta deal with her feelings and trauma. We got to see how three friends bonded by horrible trauma were able to aid in each other’s healing. The friendship and bond between Nesta, Emerie and Gwyn is one of my favorite parts of the book! . That being said there were a few things I wasn’t too keen of. I felt that the story started of fairly slow, with a lot of build up and a lot of smut. The main plot, in my opinion, did not really pick up until about 3/4s of the way into the book. The action and intrigue just didn’t hit the same way as it did in the original books. . I don’t believe this one deserves as much hype as it got, but it was still pretty good. It does start a bit slow, but picks up pace a little past the halfway point. I absolutely loved that we saw three individuals deal with trauma in their own way and overcome it slowly. That ends it for me on the ACOTAR series. Should I read another Sarah J. Maas series?

𝔹𝕠𝕠𝕜 ℝ𝕖𝕧𝕚𝕖𝕨 Book: A Court of Thorns and Roses Author: @therealsjmaas Genre: Fantasy romance Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️ I have mixed feelings about this book, hence the rating. I absolutely loved the worldbuilding, as I knew I would. Sarah J Maas is the master when it comes to creating worlds so vivid you forget you’re reading. I got lost in the magic of Prythian and the Spring Court. I also loved the second half of this book. It was fast paced and full of twists and turns. The issue I had was the first half. After the first couple of chapters, nothing much happened until the 50% mark. The plot progressed quite slowly and I struggled to get into it. However, in the latter half of the book, I couldn’t put the book down. After how much I enjoyed the second half of this book, it feels criminal to rate it so low. I struggled to like Feyre. She was whiny and annoying, and made a lot of stupid decisions. The stupid decisions I could live with, but she was constantly feeling sorry for herself in the first half of the book despite having been given everything she could ever have wanted. She became a lot more likeable in the second half of the book though. However, I liked Lucien from the start. I’m not sure what it is about witty, morally grey characters but they seem to steal my heart. After a while, I grew to like Tamlin too, despite being indifferent to him in the beginning. While I did think his and Feyre’s love came a little out of nowhere, I did come round to both characters by the middle of this book. Overall, this was a book of two halves. It’s 100% worth getting through the first half for the emotional rollercoaster that was the second half. I see why this book is such a favourite and can’t wait to read the rest of the series. ✨Book Review ✨ A Court of Mist and Fury By: @therealsjmaas Quick Take - Feyre returns to the Spring court as High Fae with a human heart. She has not forgotten her bargain with Rhysand, High Lord of the Night Court. Fae learns to understand and control her powers while navigating the complicated politics of Pyrthian; all the while a great threat looms. My Take - In an attempt to not sound overly dramatic - THIS IS THE BEST THING EVER PRINTED ON PAPER. 626 pages and if I were not eager to continue the series I would flip back to page 1 and begin again. Boy do I have it bad - this series has taken over my life. While my favorite part of ACOTAR was getting to know the Pyrthian setting, the best part of ACOMAF was the characters. 📖 “When you spend so long trapped in darkness, you find that the darkness begins to stare back.” ㅤ O segundo volume de ACOTAR e posso-vos dizer que estou a adorar cada segundo que passo neste universo. Tudo, desde o enredo, a escrita, os personagens, é cativante. ㅤ Aqui temos um monte de personagens novos, alguns são simplesmente fantásticos, outros nem tanto. A Feyre neste livro foi a personagem mais badass, adorei ver a caracterização e a evolução dela. ㅤ Quanto ao Rhysand, tive alguns problemas com ele no primeiro livro e não conseguia imaginar como o iria preferir ao Tamlin mas aconteceu… e de que maneira! O Rhys é, sem dúvida, o melhor personagem literário masculino de sempre. Os meus padrões estão extremamente altos agora. ㅤ No que diz respeito ao Tamlin, não o odeio, mas também já não morro de amores por ele. Acho que o personagem dele é mal compreendido. Acredito que certas ações dele, embora injustificadas, foram a sua maneira de lidar com tudo o que lhe aconteceu. Gostava de ler do ponto de vista dele para perceber o que vai naquela cabeça. Para mim ele é um dos personagens mais complexos deste livro. ㅤ Já o Lucien, confesso que me desiludiu bastante, eu esperava mais dele, mais atitude, que ele fizesse frente e conseguisse abrir os olhos do seu High Lord. Mas não, ele é, literalmente, um pau-mandado. ㅤ Sobre a Ianthe, eu nem quero sequer falar dela. Ela é chata, manipuladora, mesquinha e espero ter nos próximos livros um capítulo inteiro dedicado à morte dela. ㅤ Por último, mas não menos importante temos o Suriel. Suriel é uma criatura antiga que vive nas terras de Prythian. Ele tem o dom da sabedoria e responde a qualquer pergunta que lhe seja feita, ele não pode mentir. Resumindo: é uma criatura ótima para se tomar um café e por as cusquices em dia. Ahah simplesmente adoro-o. ㅤ Para quem já leu, qual a Court onde gostariam de viver?
