I don't care how deep and spiritual women are. EVERY wife should have a mentor or a circle of women they can call on to help them navigate through this amazing thing we call Wife Life. . But there are restrictions. Not everyone can be in your circle or your mentor. Especially when you are trying to rebuild your marriage once trust has been violated. . My heart has been carrying burdens, there’s been attacks on my health, and there’s been temptations to act out on fleshly desires. It’s easy to act ungodly and resort to worldly behavior, but harder to submit to him and walk with respect and love for the things of the Lord even when you don’t want to. There’s been so many moments lately where I just want to give up, but I can’t. The Lord has helped me, strengthen me, guided me and loves me way more than I deserve. God is my rock! My strength and provider. It’s always because of him that I am still here fighting and trying to be better. All I want to do is serve the Lord whole heartedly, be a great wife and soon to be mother. It's the first without either of my parents by my side. Since Dad passed in November, it's been a season of "firsts." The first Thanksgiving without them both, the first Christmas & Easter. But somehow, I didn't foresee my birthday being an issue. For some reason, I always saw my birthday as a "me & Mom" day. But for the first time I'm realizing...it was one of the most exciting days of my dad's life as well! And with him gone too this year, that feeling of being alone in the world really hit home. Oh I have a wonderful husband & two great boys. I'm way past the age of "making it on my own." And even though I spent my parents' last days taking care of 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘮, there's this weird aching that I'm on this journey on my own now. And I know many of you have dealt with similar feelings. Grief is hard. It's spontaneous. It's tearful. It shows up at the most unexpected times. But my heavenly Father is always here. Always comforts. Continuously watches & loves. He knows when grief is creeping in...and when it's ready to melee like a war against my heart. But I am pursuaded that nothing will 𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳 separate me from His constant care & attentiveness. I'm never on my own. Little story... When I was 11-14 I use to make songs and sing. That was one of the ways I escaped what was happening around me that was bad. We can have or be going through the worse experience in our lives, but we can always turn it around. That is why John 1:1-5 stuck with me. Through the year of Bible College. It was my reminder of what I was going through at that moment. (Losing my Husband, something bad. The beginning) Someone told me when I was 14 that my voice was okay but Someone was better. So, I let it shut me down.. I stopped singing and writing. That is why it is very important not to give mind of what others say and accept that what others say negative to us. Is to push us to practice or study. Something that we are not taught but to hold on to. That's why God sends Good people into our lives. To bring us out of our minds. When my husband was passing. That is all I could do was sing to him to give him peace. He was one that God put in my life to bring my voice back. ❤️‍🔥🕊🙌🏽 I was in hope that if I just sing the gospel to him. It will give him strength to heal. I didn’t understand when he passed. I got so angry and yelled at God. I blamed him and kept repeating you said if we prayed and believed. That you will show up. Little did I know he was there every step of the way. Just some times what we go through we let it get to us. It wasn’t my fight but his. One of the reasons to get in the word is to strengthen you, because you can save you. You can only save those who are willing to believe to be saved. But it doesn't mean to give up on others, but pray by far and forgive. They will either stay their distance and later find out who. To give thanks to God for sending you into their lives. Between surgeries, recovery, and my car breaking down, I’ve only driven a handful of times this year. (I’d only started back last summer summer, following 6yrs of not driving due to being medically unfit) Yesterday my car finally made it back after a gearbox and clutch replacement and it’s such a relief. It’s going to make life so much easier as I don’t have to work in additional rest periods to recover from all that walking and public transport can take out of me, and be so much more practical with all of the medical equipment we have to lug around with us.
