One of my new clients has jumped on the fresh food journey and created this beautiful reconstituted @greenjujukitchen freeze dried food for her two teacup Yorkies. I took a picture to show people what reconstituted freeze dried can look like. She used warm water, kosher bone broth and some of the freeze-dried Just Greens. They travel internationally so frozen raw will not work. The freeze dried is light-weight and can easily be mixed up in a hotel room with warm water. Both dogs had pancreatitis and Gi issues and were being fed a hydrolyzed diet. They transitioned seamlessly, have more energy and less anxiety, and are more balanced emotionally. Even their dog trainer noticed! There are so many good options for feeding our pets available these days there are no excuses for not feeding them a healthy diet. If you are feeding feeeze-dried, please reconstitute it with water, broth or raw milk. Jablčný ocot za cenu Karpatské Brandy Špeciál, rozriedený s trochou vody, vypitý hneď ráno. Jogurt máme, taký poriadny samozrejme. Májová bryndza kúpená, slovenské zrejúce syry tiež (dnes mali dúfam zo mňa v syrovom obchode na #trhoviskozilinska ešte väčśiu radost než zvyčajne). Kefír vypitý (hurááá) a na sporáky SEGEDÍNSKY GULÁŠ. Vlastne to je len niečo na tému guláš resp.perkelt. Kyslá kapusta s top zložením sa variť nebude. Bude servírovaná v surovom stave. Ale mám aj fajnovú mladú kapustu, do varenia použijem čast tej. K mäsu som príde aj kurkumu, veď je protizápalová. Pridávam ju do mnohých jedlách. Do paradajkových a paprikových úplne všetkých. Evidentne suplujem dietnu sestru aj zdravotnú, 2 v 1. Snáď lepšia než Nurse Ratched. Celkom dobý arzenál nie? Pacient bude verím raz dva fit. On the 12th of May, I was invited to @goregaonsportsclub to speak on Reversing Diabetes by Dr Mukesh Agarwal who has been regularly arranging health based programs by doctors for the benefit of the members. Naturally, there were a large number of medical doctors and specialists who attended the talk. Goregaon sports club is a huge and very popular Mumbai club. It was no wonder that the hall was totally full. The audience was extremely interested, and I’m sure that in the future if we do a few cooking classes and other talks at the club, we can actually raise the health level of their members. If a community makes small changes together, it is easier for the entire community, and if the doctors of the community adopt it all their patients will naturally benefit. I thank entire team of The Goregaon Sports Club for a well arranged talk with a plant based breakfast menu, Dr Mukesh Agarwal – the man behind these programs, Mr Pradeep Banka, and @manishsanghai who has himself benefitted for his ankylosing spondylitis and who teaches both yoga and plant based nutrition. Manic Syndrome will NEVER have healthy and beneficial results for the person experiencing them. The biggest factor that I’ve learned is the timeframe the mania lasts. I get it. Natural sounds better. Natural ‘feels’ better. It’s just that science doesn’t really care how you feel. You see, unnatural stuff can also be cool. Like cars, planes, air conditioning, pretty much every creatine supplement* and penicillin. I’m typing this on my extremely unnatural but incredibly useful Macbook, on my faux-leather chair, under the glow of an LED tube. Yes, natural, minimally processed foods can often be the best nutritional choice but THAT DOES NOT MEAN THAT “unnatural” foods are immediately the opposite. This is unfortunately too much for certain camps to grasp, as it is a paaaaainfully common argument. “Ugh don’t have Weet-Bix, they’re not natural” “Don’t drink milk, that’s unnatural” “Don’t buy my range of supplements, they’re unnatural.... wait” It’s silly. Someone using that as the basis of their argument is falling prey to the naturalistic fallacy, and you should feel free to politely remind them of that (from your high horse, of course). “It’s unnatural” is not a valid argument.
