If you’ve been following along for a while you’ll know that this is the spell jar that we made at @crossroads.x.community’s ritual in November for the Scorpio New Moon. In my previous post I explained that this was made to assist those who made one to help shedding the skin of the old and step into that more evolved body. The results that I’ve had since this ritual have come full circle. There was a large hold on me, self imposed of course, that I wanted and needed to shed. A piece of me that I’ve held onto for over 4 years that was creating such a limitation that in my personal life and business life I felt the lack of growth. As we walk closer to this Scorpio Full Moon I really feel it leaving. I’ve had several opportunities that have come my way to apply the intention that I set. It’s been hard. It’s been uncomfortable. It’s also been worth every step. This is a reminder of a couple of things. Documentation can really help you see how far you’ve come with your intentions. You don’t always have to journal your hand off. You can do bullet points - or how I do by taking pictures because I can always tap into where I was and what I was feeling. Moon magick, especially with the New Moon + Full Moon are 6 month cycles. They come in waves so that we can keep up with the change and have the time to solidify what we are asking. In depth magick is not instantaneous- you have to cultivate it. And the last reminder - magick is real. I’ve been doing this for over 15 years and I still get surprised and amazed by the results that come with the practice I embody. It only gets better and more rewarding the more you invest in yourself and your community.
