The sauce is mango, coconut milk, a touch of pure maple syrup, hemp seeds, Dijon, lemon, ginger, habanero, and shallots . What I ate today. I packed a breakfast of oats, grated apple, carrots, courgette, pumpkin spice, soya milk, topped with blueberries, pomegranate seeds and chopped nuts. I ended up working from home but it was nice having it ready to go. I had some of the Jamaican Sweetcorn Soup with a bit of left over rice, chopped coriander and a bit of yogurt. I had a few grapes this afternoon. Tea tonight was a bit random. I made a pizza out of the last of the mung bean wraps with tomato paste, oregano, the last of the tofu mozzarella and the remaining falafels from a few nights ago. It was a bit weird but really tasty. I made coleslaw with a raita type yogurt dressing on it and salad. For dessert I had the last of the sweet potato pudding mixed with some cocoa powder and soya milk. I’m feeling positive that I am back on track and making sensible decisions. We are out at a gig tomorrow night so I need to prep some food and plan a snack for after so I don’t get tempted to make bad decisions late at night. 이제 사과가 점점 맛이 떨어져 간다. 가을에 햇사과 나오면 먹고 여름 과일 많이 사먹어야지. 냉털 목적으로 갖가지 잎채소와 어중간하게 남은 바질페스토 넣은 근본 없는 파스타지만 맛있고- 어느 날 저녁 대신 먹은 샐러드 한 바가지. 너무 많은 양이 좀 부끄러워 한참 먹은 후 찍었다. ㅋㅋ 그래도 많네.. 샐러드류 가게 중 가장 좋아하는 곳은 잇 샐러드와 서퍼스 포케인데 사진은 잇 샐러드. 메뉴명은 ‘왜이래? 잠깐 부은 거야‘. 스트레스 릴리즈와 시저 샐러드도 맛있다. 어제 저녁엔 냉동실에 쬐끔 남아 있던 말린 표고랑 톳 탈탈 털어 톳밥. 양념장 넣어 비벼 먹으면 다른 반찬이 필요 없는 맛. 반찬도 없는데 밥 양이 너무 적은 거 아닌가 싶을 수 있는데 두 그릇 째에 찍은 사진이라는 점… 오늘 아침은 과채에 땅콩 100% 땅콩버터 한 숟갈 같이. 당근이 동그란 날은 엄마가 계시는 날. 엄마는 당근을 꼭 쪄서 주시는데 난 웬만한 과채를 다 좋아하지만 찐 당근은 여전히 그닥이다. ㅎㅎ 초장 맛으로 회 먹는 느낌으로 땅콩버터 맛으로 찐 당근 먹기. #싱싱밀 #자연식물식 #현미채소식 #wholefood #plantbaseddiet #wfpb

I made this super yummy vegan cheese sauce last night as a topper to my dinner. I was craving baby potatos but wanted to add veg too so I steamed those with broccoli & cauliflower. I always wing it with the sauces so I can’t tell ya’ll the exact measurements but the base was a 50/50 ratio of raw soaked cashews & hemp seeds. Then I added a bell pepper, a bunch of seasonings, pickled jalapeños & a dried hot pepper blend made from our garden last year 😋👌 SO good!! Ok so my recording has been shit! I picked my game up in the last few days as you guys have been asking me what I’m eating. Currently at the end of day 16. It feels very normal to eat this way now. Eat enough to feel satiated. Eat intuitively. Fruit feels so light in the body, it’s quite different. I’ve had hot drinks maybe 50% of the days - Jing in hot water, tulsi tea, and Artemis kidney tea yesterday and today which has been awesome. Highly recommend all their teas! Cannot believe how fast it’s gone. When I break, I’m going to keep up with raw days and have flexible evening meals but def keep it low fat plant based 🌱 and still raw salads when I can. I will definitely enjoy some hot food again!! If I lived in Florida or North Queensland I would be a raw plant based eater with ease! Harder in frosty rural South Island of New Zealand, but not impossible. Why do it? It’s deeply cleansing for the lymphatic system which easily becomes stagnant, which is not good seeing that it’s the body’s sewerage system! It clears the cellular waste via the kidneys. I peed a lot in the night for the first 5 days getting rid of “water weight” AKA stagnant lymph. Not eating salt helps a lot with this process too, it makes the body hold fluid. Greens and Spicy Lentils… Miso, vegetable & mushroom stock sautéed green beans, Brussel sprouts & baby bok choy with a sprinkling of chili flakes (and droplets of acv added to the bowl to enhance nitrates). Cooked separately; Lentils in canned organic crushed tomatoes, with lots of thickening grated carrot & zucchini, chopped spring onion, parsley and English spinach with Baharat spice mix, tamari, chili flakes and then orange juice added to the bowl for umami grounding. A delicious two part dinner with all the goods. Plant based nourishment. The leafy greens cooked lightly, the lentil stew simmered to enhance the flavours.
