Part 2 in the series of where the Driftwood Guardians come from : After collecting all the beautiful pieces full of potential, they undergo thorough cleaning (yes there is lots of waterblasting, scrubbing etc.involved) then they will be left to dry. Most of the times outside, spread out in the sun. Sometimes in the bathtub first and then in the sun, the oven or manually helped to dry through and through. . These pics show the morning after, New Harvest, Unloading the car, Lining up the treasure, Waterblasting, cleaning and Drying in the warm sun. Arms a bit sore from all the lifting and carrying. I shared this photo 4 months after I moved to London in 2013. For those of you who don’t know that story, I literally decided in November I was going to interview in London for a teaching job… the interviews were 2 weeks after that initial decision. I flew to London from Toronto alone, arrived here knowing some friends on the other side of London, and got a job. Then I had a month upon my return to Canada to get my visa sorted and life packed up, because I started work on the 3rd of January in London. I don’t do things by halves 😂 This quote is so true, and all the times I’ve taken risks- risks that people have called “stupid” and “brave” simultaneously, it’s always worked out. 2013 was far before my spiritual awakening, but this just proves the universe literally has always had my back. Surrender. As I'm moving into a new space of total surrender, I'm often reminding myself "what's meant for me won't pass me by" Maybe this phrase will also land with someone who's meant to hear it and adapt into their own life. Because when we truly believe the Universe has our back and is conspiring with us instead of against us. When we are aligned with our soul's destiny. When we can feel in the deepest parts of ourselves that we are on the right path, even though that path may not look like what others think it should. There's nothing left to do but surrender. Everything is always working out for me and my highest divine good. 💫 We don’t have it figured out. None of us do. If you think you do, you will be in suffering. As I feel things crumble in my external world, I am learning moment to moment that it was never real and to be present with the now as often as possible. This age of love is remembering that everything is always working out for us better than I can imagine, easefully and effortlessly if we allow it.
