At times we are brought to our knees, cracked open.âš Though this is an opportunity for growth, for healing, and to choose a different path. And to discover the gold thatâs hidden beneath the surface. I used to resist these moments, and run for the hills! Avoiding those uncomfortable emotions that were lurking in the dark. The shame, the fear, the panic, the anxiety, the overwhelm that needed to be felt to be alchemized and released. I wanted to think my way out of things, though we all know weâve got to feel things to heal. Even though the human mind loves to keep busy. These were dominant emotions that were running my life until recently. I realised this week that my old friend âshameâ had reared itâs head again. (If you missed it - Iâm leaving my part time job next week because itâs draining me and doesnât feel aligned anymore.) I feel deep relief, trust and excitement for the next chapter! Though I also feel anxiety and deep shame. And thatâs ok, itâs all ok. The old me would have kept busy, (oh yes the Capricorn part of me will sometimes lead me to burnout).đ Though I made a different choice in that moment, I decided to surrender and feel it all. I sat with the shame, feeling the sensation of my clenched, tense stomach and listened to what it wanted to say. I felt shame because I havenât created enough finances to support myself since I started my business in 2019, and have had multiple part time jobs alongside. I felt shame about the times Iâve undervalued my soul work and not fully believed in myself. I felt anxious about âhowâ the money will come now. Afterwards I felt more spacious and relaxed within. All your emotions are valid and have hidden wisdom for you if you are willing to delve deeper. Your shame, or whatever difficult emotions you are feeling do not define you. Cut yourself some slack cos youâre only human! đ Albert Einstein once said: âYou cannot solve a problem with the same mind that created it.â You get to choose in each moment to surrender and be guided by love. Itâs extraordinary the transformations that happen as we journey through time. Time, after all, is simply a learning device for the soul, according to The Course In Miracles. What once felt impossible, is now at my fingertips. What felt so out of reach, has now arrived. Peace & Intimacy & Love IN Self. & With that, deep, devotional intimacy with another. I spent so many years transiting through cycles of insecurity, grief & self-sabotage. A true Scorpio rising path. Though I can now recognize the beauty along the way, I do wish I enlisted more support for myself. Over a decade ago, a man that I truly loved died in a tragic accident. It was through this experience that completely shattered not only my world view, but sent me on a path to find my true anchor. âïž The only anchor. Clearing my channel and rooting into right relationship with the divine. During the decade that is supposed to be fun and outwardly explorative, I journeyed inward instead to grieve the profoundness of my loss. I was so rocked emotionally that for most of my 20âs, I clung to romantic partners who couldnât fully satiate my longing for stability, understanding and home. I was challenged to re-parent myself, stabilize myself & find my footing after what felt like being stripped by life and outward sources of support. Spirit was reminding me of the importance to source my own anchor, my own colours, not from lovers, but from my inner riches. It was such a raw time. However, the tenderness it unveiled and the ego deaths it inspired are priceless gems that forged powerful integrity and character. I have always craved intensity, to uncover the essence of things, and life has given me that gift. Now I find myself enjoying the fruits of my emotional labour and basking in the joy of my becoming, with my beloved by my side.
