Acne is quite a common condition that can happen to anybody of all ages. Yes, even adults too. I have been trying out Bio Derma’s Sebium serum courtesy of @tryandreview and #BioDermaSG. If I remember correctly, there’s two other variants too. There’s Sensibio (for sensitive, reactive skin) and Hydrabio (for dehyrated skin) too. The texture of this serum is lightweight, watery. I like serums that absorbs quick. Usually for a water-like kind of texture, it can sometimes dry my skin later after it dries down. However, this doesn’t seem to be the case for this so far. Just follow up with a moisturiser. When I started using this, I actually had some breakouts, a bit of purging. I believe this is a combination of that time of the month and also because I was also using two new products (one of them is a product that accelerates skin cell turnover) at the same time as using this. It wasn’t red or anything though. It went away pretty quickly. Does it do anything for my pores? Maybe a little? This serum has a faint smell that reminds me of cucumber or something? This serum salicylic acid in it but I don’t feel any tingling or anything when I apply it on my skin. Salicylic acid isn’t new to me. This serum is in fact gentle on my skin. Been using this for a little more than a month and I feel like my skin feels a bit less oily and less shiny when I wake up. I am someone who usually has a shiny face when I wake up so I guess that’s a plus for me. Does it totally prevent me from having some breakouts here and there? I don’t think it does with hormonal ones that’s around the chin/jaw but for other areas, I noticed lesser breakouts. This doesn’t contain paraben, alcohol or silicone. So for those skincare enthusiasts or anyone who is particular about that would be pleased to know this serum doesn’t contain those. It comes in a 30ml glass bottle dropper. People with sensitive skin could give this a go but always do a test patch first, just in case! Thanks again #tryandreviewSG and #BioDermaSG! P.S: Just sunscreen and sunscreen powder used. Over 100 years old family heirloom dish, kintsugi repaired and finished with real gold. The antique dish is from the customers’ grandmother who immigrated from China in 1920. Cracks were mended with gold.
