If I like it and it fits amazing, I’ll buy it again in the next color. Can I get an Amen? 🙌 This dress is the Emerson dress by @judeconnally and it has been a go to silhouette since I discovered earlier this year. It’s offered in an extended length(about 3 extra inches) and I wanted to show y’all a comparison of those lengths: 🩷 In the first picture in the pink dress, I am wearing a size large in the normal length. It fits well, borderline a little short for my 5’9” frame with my 31 week baby bump at the time of photo. If I didn’t have a baby bump, I think the regular length length could be just fine for me. 🩵 In the solid blue dress, I barely had a baby bump and got my usual dress size medium but got the extended length. I do appreciate this length for being a bit more modest. 💚 In the green, I did not have a baby bump quite yet, and am wearing the medium with the extended length. Very similar fit to the blue. 🩵 In the chinoiserie print, I am still wearing a medium in the extended length and have a 32 week baby bump. It’s still fits great, but obviously the loose a-line is more of a fitted triangle 😉 I hope these photos show the beautiful a-line drape to it with and without a baby bump. It’s such a flattering silhouette on all body types and you know I like to pop the collar. TLDR: get your usual dress size. Get extended length if you’re 5’9” or taller or want to be more modest. “It takes a village to raise a child.” But, what if you don’t have a village? It really sucks. I know. I know you feel alone. I know you can’t remember the last time that you were able to take a break, to date your spouse, to do something without worrying about rushing home to get back to your kids. I know that you wish that you had family right around the corner. Family that was close enough to help with pick ups and to help with hot meals but for some of us, that’s just not the case. I know it can feel impossible most days. But, mama I want to remind you that if you don’t naturally have a village around you, create one. Find your friends who are in the sameish situation as you are and join forces. Just like your family doesn’t have to be blood related, same goes for your village. 🛎️WEEKEND REMINDER 🛎️ Restriction is focusing on something you can’t have/do, which is going to leave you feeling like you’re missing out on life. Restraint is allowing yourself to participate in that “something”, while recognizing too much of that “something” decreases your quality of life. Part of living your best life includes knowing how powerful your CHOICE is. If you feel like your choice is taken away from you, you’re more likely to fixate on the thing you “can’t” do. Whereas if you CHOOSE to participate but practice self control, that’s what gives you back the power over your own life. I know I’ll be enjoying some wings today with friends, but not letting myself eat until I’m sick & fitting those wings into my daily targets to stay compliant in my deficit. BRAK MIESIĄCZKI NIE JEST NORMALNY 🙆Im więcej osób poznaje, tym widzę że brak/ nieregularne miesiączki to codzienność wielu dziewczyn, kobiet, które często są nieświadome problemu który się rodzi. Mowa oczywiście o braku miesiączki wywołanym dietą i ćwiczeniami, nie czynnikami fizjologicznymi jak np. ciąża. 🤔Co robić? Stety lub nie musisz jeść więcej, eksperci mówią że powinno się spożywać 45 kcal/kg beztłuszczowej masy ciała + wydatki na trening. Brzmi łatwo prawda? 🍫Jednak tak nie jest, załóżmy że mamy Panią, która jadła 1500 kcal, a nagle po obliczeniach związanych z leczeniem braku miesiączki musi jeść 2600 kcal. 🟥Po pierwsze część osób nie przeje takiej podaży energii, a po drugie nie będą chciały tyle jeść ponieważ przytyją – tutaj pojawia się problem dla psychologa. Obliczenia i zalecenia to jedno, ale dana osoba nawet jeśli rozumie problem braku miesiączki, musi zrozumieć że czasem przytycie musi nastąpić. Tylko jedząc tyle ile powinnaś odpowiednio odżywisz organizm i unikniesz tych negatywnych skutków, o których mowa na infografice. ‼️Zdrowie>lustro.
