A refreshing cowboy twist with bull riding over horses which I think I enjoyed the more danger aspect of the sport. I loved summers boss b personality and how she holds her self down but bottles everything up and hides it and her true self from the world. So they continue to think she’s stronger than she is. She’s Very relatable, down to earth and Rhett was an ultimate sweetheart. I loved the family dynamic on Rhett’s side, Summers side was drama filled and messily interesting with some cringe funny moments I also enjoyed. Overall this book was good but just good, I still can’t tell if I’m into the whole cowboy thang or if my heart belongs in fantasy but it was a cute read, and I enjoy switching it up. Let me explain some tropes of this book, so basically, single dad plus nanny , small town , age gap , grumpy sunshine , opposite attracts ( yum Ikr) The story follows Cade (38), a single dad who has always been the caretaker of his family. He grew up faster than he should’ve, married a woman he didn’t love settled into a career he didn’t choose because it was needed, and is raising his little boy alone without complaint. Cade is in need of a nanny for the summer, and the lack of control he has over the process has left him frustrated. So when his sister-in-law recommends her best friend for the role, Cade resigns himself to the situation… atleast, until he meets Willa (25). Beautiful, fiery, and way too young, Willa gives Cade whiplash. She is nothing like he expected, and her slightly unhinged personality might be just the fire he needed. I think both of the characters were meant to be together. I loved willa relationship with Cade Kid Luke. All my expectations were fulfilled. Umm, the smut was on point, hehhe . The plot and the characters are intriguing to me. I love how Elise Silver writes single dad romance books. She is the queen of small-town romance books, and I can not get enough of her. I really enjoy Ford and Rosie's banter. I love that they are childhood frenimies and turn lovers. Their chemistry and banter are everything to me. I love how Ford is very protective of Rosie and Cora. That makes my heart melt. As for the other characters, I love Cora. She is a cool kid. Rosie's brother West is a funny character, and I can't wait for his book. Overall, it is a fun and swoonworthy read. The Chestnut Springs series is probably the Queen of #bookstagram series! I keep seeing it literally EVERYWHERE on #booksta Who knew my ladies like cowboy romances so much? 🤠 There are just some books that are #bookgirl blockbusters. Those that you see literally everyday as you scroll. As my new friend @booksta_grammie says if you see a book on here enough you will get FOMO and buy it. The problem with that is when a book is hyped up TOO much it can be a bit of a letdown so I gave this book 4 stars, mainly because while it was heart-felt, it was also a pretty simple plot It’s a beautiful and well-written story but it’s mostly straightforward - this isn’t necessarily a bad thing but I read a lot of fantasy romance with really complex plots (SJM 👀) Flawless is not deep, it’s direct. What you see is what you get, so I enjoyed it but I wouldn’t necessarily rave over it. ⭐️ Bonus if you listen to the audiobook the male narrator is Sebastian York 😍 That said I would definitely continue onto book 2 - Heartless because I am a sucker for a single Dad romance and the writing is good. I’m so proud of this post 🥹 Chestnut and RoseHill deserve it all. I didn’t think I could love Elise Silver’s writing more than the Chestnut series BUT I DO. RoseHill I can’t wait to read all about you. Ford and Rosie were the PERFECT introduction to this series. The most mature characters I’ve seen come from Silver. Ford was very different from the male heroines we’ve read about. He’s quiet, creative, a little insecure, trying to become confident with his lifestyle, but one thing he’s confident about is his love for Rosie. Rosie or Rosalie( this name is beautiful and I want it for the middle name of a future daughter) was a good mix for a female heroine we’ve read so far. She was smart, dedicated, and knew what she wanted and how to get it. She really made sure Ford was confident in himself before he loved her and I think every girl deserves confidence in a man’s love. The love written in these pages through the diary entries were so cute and dainty, THE KEY, THE KEY, and all the wise romantic quotes got me. Thank you Ford and Rosie for showing me a little more how to handle the wild thing we called love. Lastly, I was CRACKING up at West’s excerpt. His personality is definitely amusing. 🫶🏻WILD LOVE🫶🏻 I was so excited to enter back into the world of Elise silver! This book is remarkable from start to finish - absolutely amazing. The back and forth banter was incredible 🤌🏻I love the love/hate arguing and how Ford tried to control his irritation and Rosalie is such a smart ass 🤣🤣 Cora was one of my fave character throughout this book……she is AMAZING and I loved everything about her she was the best addition to this book!! I will never get over how perfect Ford and Rosalie are for each other! From the get go it is constant back and forth bantering! I knew from the start they would be perfect for each other and I could feel their love for each other start to develop through out the book 🫶🏻🫶🏻 Their pretending to hate each other is my favourite part of this book…… I legit laughed out loud at about 70% of this book this book is hilarious 🤣 the emails are my favourite part of this book 🤣 Ford is perfect! He stepped up into full dad mode and he didn’t mess around! Howdy yall🤠 this series was so good!! I will be reading more of her books. I’m gonna read Wild Love next BUT oh my God y’all this was amazing. My favorite was Heartless with Cade and Willa. I love the Eaton Family so much and how Elsie Silver wrote each story WOULD love a story about Harvey (he’s the king hehe) I ate the series up. I read it ungodly fast . I was gonna try and make cute little collages, but it was taking me a hot minute so here are some songs I think fit with the series really well.

Here’s to getting comfortable disappointing other people to avoid disappointing yourself.” First this dedication is gold and touched my heart more then I care to admit. 💜 This was my first book by this author and i fell in love just with this line alone and the fact that it has something to do with hockey which has interested me greatly as of late. Can i say this whole book is about going from being powerless to powerful in a beautiful way? It’s a page turner, a tear jerker and a way to fall into a world of a life (and handsome hockey player) You know there’s lives out there like Slones and Jaspers but you get hooked into his moody demeanor and her drive to please (which most of us deal with in the real world) with each other they find they are always friends looking out for one another that makes this relationship even better. The character dynamics are beautiful and it feels like your a part of the family. I will be reading more from her and looking more into romance books now that i find it’s cute and different in a good way. i’m so used to fantasy so this is a good change.
