The WORST part about having kids 👇🏾 My kids do not lie and will tell me their opinion without ANY prompting. 👉🏽 “You have a pimple.” 👉🏽 “Those colors don’t match.” 👉🏽 “I can see your underwear.” and these are just the mild ones 😂 But your kids don’t actually care about your appearance as much as you do!!! (And that is NOT an excuse not to take care of yourself. Just permission for you not to be so hard on yourself.) They want to feel like they can open up to you, they can be themselves, and if that means having tantrums, I know it’s so hard, but I take it as a compliment. My kids have to be their best when they are out and when they are with others, especially at school, that they should be able to let it go when they are home. It’s hard. I get it. But I honestly believe these creatures that have come into my life are blessings. They have pushed me and challenged me like nothing else and I strive to be better everyday for them. I feel proud that they can witness me attempt new things, struggle, celebrate small wins, bc that’s what life is all about. Also, you can’t live with them and you can’t live without them 🤣 HAPPY MOTHER’S DAY 💕

𝙃𝙞𝙜𝙝𝙚𝙧 𝙚𝙨𝙩𝙧𝙤𝙜𝙚𝙣 𝙡𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙡𝙨 = 𝙨𝙩𝙤𝙧𝙖𝙜𝙚 𝙤𝙛 𝙛𝙖𝙩 𝙞𝙣 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙜𝙡𝙪𝙩𝙚𝙨 = 𝙛𝙪𝙡𝙡𝙚𝙧 𝙖𝙥𝙥𝙚𝙖𝙧𝙖𝙣𝙘𝙚. 👉The older we get the more estrogen declines which would answer why your curves may be falling flatter! ⠀ 2️⃣ we aren’t doing enough strength training to to substitute muscle to keep those glutes full! ⠀ I’m a firm believer in lifting heavy to make glute gains BUT you don’t need to necessarily do that. ⚫️𝗠𝗲𝗱𝗯𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗖𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘇𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 ⚫️ ⠀ One of the biggest questions I get, especially from moms is how can I get a tighter core and lose that pouch? ⠀ Realistically you cannot spot train, you must shed excess weight through nutrition, boosting your metabolism and building muscle. ⠀ Although there isn’t a whole lot that can be done naturally for loose skin (since making room for a human to grow in your belly can sometimes do that! 😆), increasing muscle definition can diminish the appearance of it. 𝗧𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝘁𝘆𝗽𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸: ⠀ ✅ forces core to engage the whole time AND works on the deeper core muscles ✅engages small stabilizer muscle often missed with other workouts ✅recruits more muscle groups to work at the same time ✅improves stability ⠀ ⠀ 𝗦𝗔𝗩𝗘, 𝘁𝗮𝗴 📌𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺 30 seconds each movement (1st one for each side) for 2 rounds, rest 30 seconds at end of round 1 ⠀ 𝗢𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗮𝗹 𝗳𝗼𝗿: ⠀ ANY cycle: incorporate core training throughout the month. Recipe- Paneer Tikka Ingredients: Lemon juice – 1 tsp Chili powder – 0.5 tsp Cumin powder – 1/2 tsp Milk – 3/4 cup Ginger & Garlic Paste – 2 tsp Green Chilli – 1 (chopped) Pepper powder – 1 tsp Fennel seed powder – 1 tsp Turmeric – 1 tsp Chickpea flour (besan) – 1/3 cup Fry Light Salt – 1 tsp Apetina Paneer – 100 grams (cubed) Garam masala – 1 tsp Preparation: Take milk in a bowl and whisk it well. Add chilli powder, cumin seed powder, ginger and garlic paste, chilli, fennel seeds powder, pepper powder, besan, 1 tsp oil, and salt, and mix well. Marinate the paneer pieces in the mixture for at least an hour. Brush a non-stick grill pan with fry light and place the paneer in it. Cook on both sides, till it turns brown. Serve hot with sliced onions, lemon, and green chutney.
