Reverse diet is still going strong and I'm still holding shape! It's crazy! ◽️ Hoping to keep my abs through a good growth period, but okay if they need to hibernate for a bit. Love to stay lean for summer though! 😎 ◽️ The definition in my shoulders and biceps has been the biggest improvement that I've noticed. Post show, vasculature and pump have been insane! While I'll miss been super lean, I'm excited to look super muscular. Let's talk body dysmorphia. ◽️ If you've been keeping up on my stories, then you know that I've been having a really hard time with the mental aspect of the reverse diet. While in prep, it's easy because there's a goal, a focus, and a deadline. With a reverse diet, there's a new goal, and one that's been changed completely overnight. ◽️ I know that I have to grow and eat to advance to the next best level of myself. I remember taking these photos during my first peak week thinking "I am not ready, I need to be more lean, I have no definition". My husband @dkj.fit quickly came up, shook me and said, take a few pictures and take a step back to look at yourself. You have worked so hard and have come so far. ◽️ My head over the weekend was clashing horribly, like "I'm too thin, I'm too fat, I'm not strong, I'm not lean". The voices were loud. ◽️ Having a support system there outside of your head is sooooo crucial! Even yesterday, while getting tattooed, my artist was like "you look so good and strong, you just need to step away from the noise and make sure you goals and voice is heard" and that really resonated with me. ◽️ It WILL get back. I WILL get stronger.
