Let’s get to know him: •I have been a trainer for 5 years now & at Conquer Fitness for about 7 months. •I started training because I’ve been through the weight loss journey myself. I never had a trainer and I had to learn on my own and teach myself the do’s and don’ts. I love to motivate people and bring that extra gear out of them. I try to teach clients as much as possible so their journey is smooth sailing. •Obviously as a “gym bro” any type of Bicep Curl is my favorite exercise. Functionality wise, I love BOSU squats! •My favorite thing to do outside of the gym is golfing. Bit sweaty after an online kickboxing session with @giacomofarci at home again 😊. Did attempt in the next slides to do some kicking on a bosu ball in the gym back in the Netherlands which I had also attempted in London with Giac 😊. Having been able to target someone moving around in real life in London and to help more practical with how to throw the punches and kicks, was great 👊. Did already notice the improvement at my warming up before the online session and Giac also noticed it 😊. My why for doing this kickboxing is very simply just to be able to defend myself in case I need to. And while I hope this won’t ever again be necessary, I do think it’s better to be prepared. Does probably already help to not go home with every man who you meet 😎, did come across one in London in the first week I was there and could also have come with him like another one in Vienna, but decided not to 😎. Sometimes I’m sensible 😂. When I was in the Gymshark shop getting the sports bra of the picture and shorts of the videos, the employee there told me she was a semi professional Muay Thai boxer and that in her opinion every woman should be doing at least some kind of martial arts, if only to gain some confidence. I totally agree with that and think women should be able to hold their own 👊. Bought the sports bra to save some laundry by wearing it on its own, but when push came to shove didn’t want to give people nightmares from seeing my belly, so still wore my top over it 😎. Otherwise very happy with it 😊. The shorts I did get mainly for covering up my belly 😂, was also hoping it would be nicer for my bum, but guessing nothing can save my flat pancakes 😂.
