Hier j'ai lu 3 livres 🙈 oui j'ai passé ma journée à ça.. une certaine frénésie 😂 Donc après l'Effet Boule de Neige, j'ai enchainé avec le T1 de Twisted Love d'Ana Huang qui suit les aventures d'Ava et Alex. Ava qui essaye de faire tomber le masque du meilleur ami de son frère Josh, Alex. J'ai beaucoup aimé cette lecture, un peu long à la fin mais j'ai hâte d'enchaîner les 3 autres tomes pour suivre les aventures des meilleures amies d'Ava 🙂 À la fin, j'aurai aimé qu'Alex et Josh se réconcilient mais peut-être dans les autres tomes j'en saurai d'avantage 😉 Au final, ce genre de saga où l'on suit un groupe d'ami.e.s et que chaque tome est consacré a une personne, j'apprécie beaucoup 🙂 Bref au vu de nombres de commentaires portant sur les couvertures des livres, je suis bien contente de les avoir sur ma Kobo 😉 #bookaddict #avahuang #twistedlove

TWISTED HATE (book #3 in the twisted love series) MOOD BOARD AND BOOK REVIEW! • *cue BFB by victorious* This book was by far the best in the series. The growth we see with Jules and Josh, individually and as a couple is great, their banger is hilarious, and the lies were certainly twisted. The flow was great, the spice was hitting and you cant help but love these characters as the story progresses. Would definitely recommend as this book makes the series almost worth the read. Book 4 of 2024, and my god do I regret not DNFing this audiobook. It I rated 2/7. Here’s my reasoning without getting into too much of a rant. Beware of small spoilers: Within the first 20 minutes our main character Ava came across incredibly naive and childlike, one of her comments were “oh my god, I can’t believe I said breasts”, really? You’re 22 years old, grow up. Alex, the love interest, was a controlling, manipulative tool who doesn’t take no for an answer, to the point he end up stalking her at the end of the book before she eventually gives in and takes him back. The only character I liked in the book, who actually acted appropriately the entire time was Ava’s brother Josh and he was only in about 5-10% of the book. The plot was incredibly boring. When something did happen it was behind the scenes. And finally, I don’t know why this bugged me so much but I think it’s because I was at the end of the book and I was just irritated. PEPPER-SPRAY IS ILLEGAL TO CARRY IN ENGLAND. It is classified as a prohibited weapon under the firearms act of 1968. A quick google with tell you that. This wasn’t even all of the problems I had with the story, but I just don’t want to get into a rant. Körbe lengték a titkok, és ki ne imádná a titkokat? A belőle sugárzó titokzatosság és veszély nem csoda, hogy magával ragadta Stellát is, meg az olvasót. Az írónő tökéletesen tudja, hogy mire van szükségünk. A kapcsolat kettejük között szépen lassan alakul ki, megismerjük őket, amiben nagy segítséget nyújt, hogy Stella és Christian szemszögéből is vannak fejezetek. A szerző jó alaposan kifeszítette a húrt, de ez nem megy a történet kárára. Nagyon jó az a téma is, amelyet Stellán keresztül ültetett be Anna Huang a regénybe. Ez pedig a közösségi média és az influenszerek világa. Nem olyan könnyű, mint ahogy azt elsőre gondolnánk, sőt sok veszélyt is tartogat, amibe szintén kapunk bepillantást. Mindemellett pedig a bizonytalanság, az elismertség is szerepet kap a könyvben. De, amit mindenképp megemlítenék, az a humor, ami akkor működik a legjobban, amikor a könyvsorozat összes karakterét összehozza egy fejezetbe. Twisted games by Ana Huang✨🫙🤍⭐️ Started 28th January finished 31st Jan. 4.5 stars✨ I really really enjoyed this book! I loved the princess and bodyguard romance, but the thing I loved even more was how well they knew and understood one another! They only felt okay and complete when they were together and they could communicate with a look or just by the vibe they each gave off. I know protecting Bridget was Rhys job sort off but how over protective and possessive he was phew…warmth my goodness! And the scenes….come on who’s not heard of them. How incredible. I didn’t realise how spicy it really was, but it was easy worthy no skipping or skimming here! I liked how Bridget was so willing to change the royal rules and the parliament just so they would give her a chance as Queen and a chance to be together where they really belonged! I knew something was going to happen involving Rhys father but I didn’t realise it would go the way that it did, the world still recognises him as a bodyguard and I like that idea! Very sweet and spicy story, I really liked the royal aspect and how down to earth a princess Bridget was! Salut Booksta !!!!👋🏽👋🏽👋🏽 Aujourd’hui on se retrouve pour la revue de Twisted Love de Ana Huang Et on met la note de: ☀️☀️☀️,5/5 Avis: Franchement bonne petite lecture, l’histoire bien la plume fluide, et franchement il y a une touche d’humour qui sont vraiment incroyable. Et il y a vraiment une bonne vibe. Les personnages secondaires sont incroyables vraiment genre Josh gros cœur sur lui 🫶🏽🫶🏽🫶🏽et toute les amies d’Ava juste à croquer😍😍 ( à part Jules vraiment trop badass elle🌟🌟🌟) Ava est vraiment super drôle et elle trop cute, mais elle sait aussi ce qu’elle veut et elle ne se laisse pas faire. Et on a vraiment aimé ce côté d’elle. Plus on en apprend sur elle plus elle devient attachante.🤩🤩🫶🏽🥹🥰🥰 Alex, lui est comment dire mdrrr, un vrai clochard des fois vraiment. ☠️☠️☠️Mais il y aussi des moments où il est capable quand même 🫠. Par contre le point négatif c’est que leur relation elle va trop vite, genre limite au début on se demande si c’est son plan 🍑ou qu’ils sortent vraiment ensemble. En tout cas les rebondissements sont vraiment wow, vraiment il y a des révélations auquel on ne s’attend pas du tout. Ugyan szereplőink néha megtorpantak az akadályok előtt, hiszen ki előtt nem jelenik meg komoly szituációk esetén az a nagy, leküzdhetetlen fal? De végül mindent megtettek egymásért, és a közös jó végért. . A Twisted Games esetében két dolgot szerettem igazán: az első az, hogy szépen lassan bontakoznak ki a dolgok Bridget és Rhys között, a másik pedig az, hogy nem voltak felesleges szenvedések a történetben, amiért nagyon hálás is vagyok az első kötet, azaz a Twisted Love után, amely Ava és Alex történetét meséli el. . A fél pont levonás is csak azért járt igazából, mert jó pár hibát találtam a könyvben, ami néha-néha megakasztotta az olvasást. . A képnek a minőségét pedig nézzétek el, kérlek. Alex, il migliore amico del fratello di Ava,Josh, tormentato dal passato in quanto vuole vendicarsi della morte dei suoi famigliari. Josh deve partire e gli affida sua sorella e da quel momento le cose iniziano a cambiare, perché Alex inizierà a provare dell' emozioni mai provate prima e entrambi scopriranno cose della loro infanzia che gli cambieranno la vita. Due persone così tormentate dal loro passato riusciranno a farsi forza a vicenda oppure si spezzeranno ancora di più? Due protagonisti uno l'opposto dell'altro. Lei solare, dolce, positiva, cerca di trovare sempre il meglio nelle persone e non si lascia mai abbattere da niente. Lui scontroso, freddo, cinico, introverso, ma con un cuore buono con una barriere che si è formata negli anni. Sono così differenti l'uno dall' altro ma insieme si completano, si rafforzano, solo che lui non si fida di nessuno e non vuole mettere in rischio la vita di lei. Dall'inizio alla fine del libro si percepisce una crescita di entrambi i protagonisti. Entrambi hanno avuto una grande forza nell'affrontare il loro passato e rialzarsi dopo essere stato traditi da persone che si fidavano. Una scrittura semplice, fluida, super approvato il doppio pov sia dal punto di vista di Ava che di Alex. Non ho apprezzato i modi bruschi di Alex nelle scene spicy e soprattutto nella scena bonus mi aspettavo qualcosa di più eclatante. 😅 Una storia carina, ma da quanto era stato voluto dal mondo del booktok mi aspettavo qualcosa di più. 🙊 Sicuramente recupererò anche gli altri volumi. Creo que el hecho de haber averigüado a la primera cuáles eran las razones de los traumas me quitó las ganas de continuar la historia. Pero tengo que reconocer que es muy adictivo. Tengo claro que me habría gustado mucho más si no hubiera averiguado las razones de los traumas tan rápido. ¡¡SPOILER!! Me encanta el echo de que Álex asuma estar enamorado de Ava y haber luchado por ella. Cuando se fue hasta reino unido y esperó un año entero a qué ella le perdonará...💘, me encantó ver qué él no se rindió y que estuvi día a día durante meses cuidándola. El ver qué Ava crecía como persona y no se rendía con Alex, me hizo quererla muchísimo. Encima superó sus miedos al agua y viajó hasta reino unido para cumplir uno de sus sueños. Twisted Series by Ana Huang = complete! Each story follows a friend in a friend group and their love stories with equally connected and (should I say it?) twisted men. There’s an air of mystery in each book that will leave you breathless when those revelations come about and truths about love and trust that will make you swoon. My favorite has to be Bridget and Rhys’s story in Twisted Games followed by Stella and Christian in Twisted Lies. I love how Rhys is so protective of her. The way that they made history together by changing the laws of a country is amazing and shows that love can change a lot of things. I loved Ava and Alex, the perfect sunshine/grumpy trope. She is all rainbows and sees the best in people, which I can relate to a lot. He has been through so much and experienced some traumatic events that made him so rigid. This book has such a good plot and great character development. This is where you might get some spoilers: I actually liked the fact that Josh didn’t forgive Alex right away, it makes the book much more realistic because we can’t forget stuff from one day to the other.
