I've just discovered the podcast @campfireradiotheater via the story "Death and Alchemy", written by @patmoodywrites. In the story, a Victorian doctor resurrects the dead and has to deal with the moral and spiritual consequences of what he's done. I really enjoyed the story itself, taking a lesser used setting for a "zombie" story. And, in a short space of time, the writer has created a world I'd love to know more about. Naturally, the performance by Camp Fire Radio was absolutely phenomenal and I will definitely be listening to more by them. L'unico modo per abbattere definitivamente uno zombi è sparargli alla testa. Quindi fin qui niente di nuovo o di non già visto. La svolta sta nel fatto che questi zombi non sono automi senza cervello. Infatti i corpi dei morti sono abitati da demoni venuti da un’altra dimensione. I corpi posseduti, nonostante siano morti, possono parlare, usare strumenti, piazzare trappole, ecc...e qui non vi spiego come e perché altrimenti vi farei spoiler. Inoltre, l'infezione non si ferma solo all'uomo, ma si è diffusa alla fauna selvatica circostante. Ci sono ratti zombi, uccelli e persino cervi zombi. L'unico vantaggio che l'uomo ha contro la piaga dei non morti è che, a causa della putrefazione, queste creature si muovono più lentamente di quanto avrebbero fatto in vita. Ed è proprio qui che Keene a mio avviso è riuscito con successo a capovolgere tutta la tradizione degli zombi, dando a queste mostruosità uno scopo e un processo di pensiero, conferendo a tutto ciò un fascino ancor più spaventoso. It had a bit of a rough start but when it picked up, it picked up hard! 👻 𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘎𝘢𝘳𝘥𝘦𝘯 by Tomi Champion-Adeyemi ⭐ I was excited to listen to this one because I loved 𝘊𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥𝘳𝘦𝘯 𝘰𝘧 𝘉𝘭𝘰𝘰𝘥 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘉𝘰𝘯𝘦 but I'm sad to say I did not enjoy this at all. We follow a woman, Lęina, as she travels through South America with a guide on the hunt for a mysterious garden that she thinks her mother disappeared into. There is a lot of very repetitive, very bad poetry. The only thought I was left with was that the poor tour guide probably isn't paid enough for this. 𝘗𝘦𝘳𝘴𝘦𝘱𝘩𝘰𝘯𝘦 by Lev Grossman ⭐⭐ This story cemented that Lev Grossman's writing really isn't for me. "Seph", a high school student outcast who feels like a nobody, has a really bad day at school. I thought this one was boring and forgettable. 𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘚𝘪𝘹 𝘋𝘦𝘢𝘵𝘩𝘴 𝘰𝘧 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘚𝘢𝘪𝘯𝘵 by Alix E. Harrow 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 My favourite of the collection. This is my first Alix E. Harrow story and it was brutal, raw, and utterly fantastic. Our unnamed (but entirely badass) knight fights many bloody battles in the name of her Prince, but is it worth it? A wonderful piece on the nature of love. 𝘞𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘋𝘦𝘢𝘥 𝘒𝘯𝘰𝘸 by Nghi Vo ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Nghi Vo is an absolute master of short fiction and this story did not disappoint. Maryse, a Vietnamese woman posing as a medium, travels to an all-girl's boarding school for a séance. She gets a whole lot more than she bargained for in this creepy and thrilling ghost story. 𝘜𝘯𝘥𝘦𝘳𝘤𝘰𝘷𝘦𝘳 by Tamsyn Muir ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ With none of the humour from The Locked Tomb books, this story made my skin crawl in places in the best kind of way. Here we follow a newbie in a mob boss's employ as a bodyguard for a ghoul. Dark and gruesome, with many twists and turns. Continued in comments...

Saw this music video for the first time a few months ago and I LOVE IT. What I love most about it is how the dancers we able to incorporate the movements of the zombies into their dance. It may be corny to some but I think they did a great job! The zombies look great. Michael Jackson and everyone 's dancing was just superb as expected. Well I did another one. This one is of Mr Gold #robertcarlyle holding his daughter even though he is a zombie. I took the zombie reference that Robert was in called 28 days later sequel: 28 Weeks Later. Is there anything this man has not been in that I like? He’s in War of the Worlds (British Tv series) and Once Upon a Time (where I found him). To be honest I didn’t think I would like zombie stuff but now I do because to me I feel like it’s possible it could happen. Scientist say it’s 1% it could happen, but the way how they are improving science over centuries and decades it’s possible. Anyway this is for my series called “I will Find You, Even at the End of the World.” A zombie apocalypse story about a father (Robert Carlyle) finding his daughter ( #davieghchase ) so far there is 5 parts of the series but 10 chapters in each. Spoil alert, this part happens in part 3-4 where Gold turns into a Zombie in order to save Belle from becoming one. He is able to control himself even with no magic now, sadly he and Sarah get separated from the others and he tries everything to protect her and comfort her while the hordes are improving and getting stronger.
