After an incredibly busy year, the club is off to the beach….. apart from annual maintenance, junior racers, groups, new kit, prepping for next year ….. but we do move to a lighter schedule. There are public sessions planned on Tuesday and Thursday evenings and first thing (0930) Sunday mornings. All of these have instructors ready to help and so whether you are a complete beginner or not, they’re the perfect option to get or to keep the legs going! If it’s hot and sunny, the slope is a sun trap for spectators and runs slow - perfect for beginners and nervous beginners! …..and in the highly unlikely event it rains again this year, then don’t sit indoors complaining but get up here! What an epic first day skiing in Lofoten! Spotted this peak from the road and checked Google Earth out for how to climb and ski it. My original line was still frozen with the crazy wind, and after Lyngen, I wanted to ski corn, so I found a way off the back that was in the sun. It was mellow skiing, but good corn down low. I ended up bushwhacking a bit to a teepee at the bottom and found a trail back to the road. This place is so beautiful! Часть 5.1 В предыдущих сериях: Вкатка. Больница. Снова вкатка. Лыжи Brados. Первые старты. Не лучшая подводочка. ☝️☘️ Так вот! Конечно же в каждой истории должен быть Нappy End, и моя – не исключение. Я как всегда ехал на соревнования на серьезных щщах, хоть и не рассчитывал на хороший результат в связи со слабой подготовкой. Приехали, получили номера, навернули макарон на PastaParty и заселились в гостиницу с @hyrskyluoto Я свои лыжи подготовил дома накануне, а Саня сделал только базу под порошок, поэтому весь вечер мы занимались подготовкой его двух пар. Свои я сделал одним порошком, а Сане миксанули ядерную смесь из Vauhti и Rex. Завели будильник и легли спать, немного поболтав о предстоящей гонке. 💥✨ Утренний настрой был хороший. Все сделали по регламенту: умывание, хороший завтрак, поход в туалет, сбор экипировки и выезд. Ваня с Мишей, тоже не заставили ждать – утренние процедур отработали на отлично. Всё чётко по плану! Мы – молодцы. 🚗⛷️ Приехали в Дёмино. Предстартовой суеты не было. А чё суетиться то? Времени было достаточно, но, в тоже время, прохлаждаться было некогда. Просто переоделись, да пошли по стартовым коридорам. Прямо в стартовом створе суставная разминка, складывание вещей в пакет и старт. Я решил ехать со своим темпом и не лезть куда-то вперед. Думал только об одном: лишь бы экипировку не поломать! 🎲⛷️ Стартанули! Я встал в середину первого паровоза второй волны и просто решил держаться за чьей-то спиной. Кто-то обгонял меня, кого-то обгонял я… Я не пыталсяугнаться вперед и обогнать эту спину, просто сидел сзади. 😏 Далее в комментариях⤵️

The papers are signed! The Spot YYC is stoked to announce that we will be joining the amazing group of organizations that operate out of @yycccs. Although it deeply saddens us, and the entire action sports community, to see the loss of @blinebikepark, we are going to do what we can to keep the legacy of awesomeness that took place under that roof alive and well as we take on 5401sf of what was once a killer indoor street area! We will be putting those 32’ ceilings to good use and we’re excited to see what art we can get created on those walls.
