✨ A Short Meet-Cute Review ✨ . . Amazon Original Improbable Meet-Cute Series was released earlier this year. Overall, I really enjoyed the series! Most of the short stories got 4-5 stars. They were all short (at 100 or less pages) and sweet. All different storylines which was nice but also frustrating. I do believe some of these stories could have definitely been expanded into a book. My favorite out of all of them was The Exemption to the Rule by Christina Lauren. Oh Hi…👋🏻 . . It has been almost two months since I last posted on my page. All I can say is I have missed being on here and posting! Hope you all are doing well and thriving! 😊 . The last few months have been a roller coaster of personal and family things. I have been taking it one day at time and trying not to stress myself out more than already do. I have been using this time to find myself and trying to enjoy life! Spring has finally come and my mental health is doing so much better because of it. Winter was super rough on me and I am sure for everyone else! Daily walks are my new favorite thing and trying to create a healthy balance with food. If there was a word for the last two months, it would be self growth. With this little break, I have not finished any book but I have been reading when I can. You can read the authors' love of pizza from their fun exploration of pizza in society; past and present. There are fun pop culture things like pizza loving celebrities and how they like their pies and pizza world records. The book also shares drinks that pair well with the (mostly) circular dish, as well as dips and pizza inspired meals. So what pizzas do I want to make? Marinara, bufala, mimosa, fiocco and asparagus and pancetta, and the calzone ripieno too. Sweet pizzas are not my thing though after having one terrible chocolate pizza, I don't want to go back their again. But I do love pineapple on pizza. They say don't judge a book by its cover, but this one is cool outside, and thankfully entertaining and awesome inside. [Book Review] ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Title: The Threat Below (Brathius History #1) Publishing Date: July 29, 2015 Pages: 544 Author: Jason Latshaw Genres: Fiction, Fantasy, Young Adult, Post Apocalypse, Dystopian Thank you to @jasonsethlatshaw for sending me a digital copy of ‘The Threat Below.’ I apologize for how long it took to read it. Jason was kind enough to send me a copy for an unbiased opinion at the end of last year, and I am just getting to review it now. I must admit that I am not usually a fan of thicker books. I tend to read a lot of books at the same time because reading something depends on my mood. This way of reading makes it difficult for me to get through a long novel in a decent amount of time. However, the length did not bother me at all! I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book and wished I had read it sooner. What I enjoyed most about this story was the suspense that kept the story moving and the slowly pieced-together knowledge that comes from the main characters’ time down below. It isn’t until Ad and Ice get below the cloudline that we finally see a full image of the monsters and what they can do. Torrain should have been the main character. He is my favorite and showed the most growth out of everyone. I highly recommend reading the book for him alone! I already know that I am going to be picking up the second book too! Never where by Neil Gaiman ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Of course, many people have read Neil Gaiman. I've only read Sandman and Good Omens but have always meant to read more. I kept putting it off for other books. I follow his social media and he's such a great guy, I finally decided to pick up Neverwhere. First, the cover of his books are amazing. I love these old fashioned, creepyish looking covers. Second, the book was great. Action started right away, and the fast-pacedness never stopped. This is his latest version, and according to Gaiman, his most complete version of Neverwhere. He started writing it while he was making the show, and when it got published there were still things he wanted to add and got taken out. So, he basically rewrote it and put a lot more into it. It's a combination of the UK version, US version and more. It was a quick read for me, and I am definitely looking forward to reading more of his book. I ordered a fancy (cheap) tree bag off amazon that’s arriving after the new year. Opps. More time to adore the tree I guess! ☺️ I did take down all the other decor and packed it away to take to our garage. . I went to target today and got so many things for 70% off to add to my Christmas decorations next year. I picked up two books at our local discount bookstore.
