Had to do something with the wheelhouse interior on the Minnow. Removed the old carpet on the ceiling and found unfinished fiberglass and wiring duct taped to it. Removed old broken electronics from the dash, sanded and painted the ceiling with Kilz primer, the whitest, brightest flat paint there is. Ran the extended wiring in a white split loom up and around the vent window, still needs a few details but so much brighter in a formerly gloomy place. Doing 3 days catch up truly not recommended, this one is the hardest among those 3 poses 😄😂 This time I tried to cut off my wheel into a block, so much work in need to gain my lumbar strength 💪 . Here what Carmen' said; This is probably one of the most dreaded moves I teach. It takes some serious convincing to do the rocking! If you’re in that group, know that you don’t have to go all the way up TODAY. You can work on the rocking a few times times, use props to start from a higher position and, this is VERY important, do it consistently during the next weeks to start feeling some changes. Before you unfold your mat, consider these: 🏹the point of today is to strengthen the lumbar and lower body (including knees), regardless if you balance all the way up on the thighs or not. This strength will improve your quality of life, not just give you a nice party trick😉; 🏹most people need the develop that lumbar endurance, not many are born like that. It’s a matter of piling up attempts, one after the next; 🏹one way to tackle this, somewhat successfully, is to put a block or rolled blanket under low belly, then rock from there. Roll down and repeat x10. Practice And All Is Coming Day 11 and Day 10 of #kneepractice with my friend @cyogalife is #reversenordicdrill and #highbow or #dhanurasana So hard to not arch your back and wow do you feel that after lol Look like a Zombie 🧟‍♀️ As for full bow rocks still aways away from getting up on those thighs. The block really helps and I’ve figured out finally how to use trying to straighten the legs to help you stay up higher .. #KneePractice with @cyogalife Day 🔟 #HighBow or #Dhanurasana . This is a tough one for me, but I feel like I’ve made a little bit of progress. Rocking front to back kills my pubic bone so I kept it brief. Considering Carmen describes this as “one of the most dreaded moves” she teaches, I’m feeling pretty ok with where I’m at. I still prefer to use a block (chose the flattest one I own) for the double-handed grip & lift, but working bit by bit to get the legs straighter. Playing catch up with #kneepractice with @cyogalife First we have #highbow or #dhanurasana and I’m using a #yogablock because I’m not a super human like all the rest of you 😂 and this was probably my best version of this ever! Second slide is that #pigeon or #ekapadarajakapotasana variant that felt too good to be true, so I was grateful! Third slide is a #squat or #malasana variation. I have to be super careful with my toes, and if I’m being honest I’m still dealing with some numbness in my big toes from a few weeks back when we did that reclined hero pose with the toes up 😬 so yeah, this is me being super careful. No quiero dejar que nada de lo que me paso dañino me afecte hoy, porque al fin y al cabo es lo único que tengo. Aunque no olvide, ni sea indiferente, perdono para sentirme mejor, hay muchas cosas que no entiendo, que me desgarren el alma, pero si no lo suelto solo me hago daño yo. (Mientras las personas que me afectaron siguen su vida como si nada y no es justo). . Noto una sensación de desgaste, todo me lo cuestiono, por eso me muevo para gestionar mi frustración emocional y que mejor manera que mi alfombra mágica, para ordenarme, silenciar y aquietar mi mundo interno. Sé que tiendo a elegir lo que no me conviene, le presto demasiada atención, pierdo tiempo, energía en aspectos que no son importantes para mi felicidad, para avanzar, crecer. Una parte de mi sabe lo que me conviene, mientras me pasa que a menudo deseo ir por caminos contrarios a mi intuición, el resultado es que no vivo con la libertad que quisiera, sintiéndome mal física y emocionalmente, porque no miro al futuro con tanto optimismo y claridad como me gustaría. . Administratie = als een dagboek: wát een bizar kwartaal maar we overleefden het en samen zijn is dan wel heel erg fijn. Vanavond geen yoga in de #sporthal, in #september starten we daar weer om de week (nog even in potlood) de andere weken locatie centrum #Hilversum, nu eerst #vakantie wel woensdag nog een heerlijke #zwangerschapsyoga sessie en daarna een #vinyasaflow sessie in het Hearthouse ❤️ #bussum ik hoop dat iedereen die dit leest meedoet. Augustus alleen maar vakantie en nog meer vakantie. Zo-even een ‘coole’ vuurkorf gekocht op marktplaats want ik heb echt teveel tuinafval. Iedereen is bang dat ik niet kan stoppen met m’n tuin maar ik ken de grens, het blijft een bostuin dus de grasmaaier ongebruikt op marktplaats😅bij ons is t gras v d buurman dus altijd groener maar wij hebben lila bloemetjes.. It takes some serious convincing to do the rocking! If you’re in that group, know that you don’t have to go all the way up TODAY. You can work on the rocking a few times times, use props to start from a higher position and, this is VERY important, do it consistently during the next weeks to start feeling some changes. Before you unfold your mat, consider these: 🏹the point of today is to strengthen the lumbar and lower body (including knees), regardless if you balance all the way up on the thighs or not. This strength will improve your quality of life, not just give you a nice party trick😉; 🏹most people need the develop that lumbar endurance, not many are born like that. It’s a matter of piling up attempts, one after the next; 🏹one way to tackle this, somewhat successfully, is to put a block or rolled blanket under low belly, then rock from there. Roll down and repeat x10. Be precise so that it’s not incredibly easy (you’re not really strengthening anything), but also not so hard so that you can barely start; 🏹as you see in the vid, the higher you grab the shins, the easier to lift on thighs; 🏹a long rubber band will give you more freedom to create new ways to lift (with arms overhead, both arms holding the same leg, sending feet to ground etc). Like I said, just trying is going to build enormous strength and stamina💪🏻💥. Today I am not at the level of being able to do what Carmen proposes. In any case, I have looked for some ways to work the area, so that little by little my body understands it. And my last video is my attempts to get up a bit off the ground, I look like a stomped croquette 😅🤣
