Just last week, the House of Representatives passed a bill that would delist wolves across the country without the possibility of judicial review. Similarly, when wolves were delisted in the Northern Rockies, the delisting was not subject to judicial review. We’ve seen the results of that delisting with horrific hunting policies in Montana, Idaho, and Wyoming that include trapping, snaring, killing wolf pups and pregnant mothers, and running wolves down with snowmobiles and AVTs. As a keystone species, wolves are critical to ecological health and balanced ecosystems. Despite this, when states are responsible for the management of wolves, their default method of “management” is the hunting and culling of wolves. I just received word that Truluck’s instructed employees to refrain from speaking to me. Employers can’t prohibit you from speaking to anyone outside of specific circumstances, such as maintaining confidentiality or protecting trade secrets, which only managers have access to. There is nothing confidential about anything we have discussed, so you’re not breaking any guidelines. But we all know Todd Perry creates his own rules that are NOT legal (the same one who told me that the first time a white coworker touched me, it’s NOT a problem, and it would only be an issue if they touch me a second time. His self-made rule). You have every right to speak to whoever you want. But protect your employment and pretend you don’t know me. Your secret is safe with me. However, if you are terminated for speaking to me, it would be considered wrongful termination or retaliation according to the EEOC and the Department of Justice, so you would have a strong case. There are no valid reasons related to your job performance or conduct at all. The only way they could penalize you for speaking to someone is if your conversation breached confidentiality agreements or involved discussing sensitive company information. KNOW YOUR RIGHTS! I have one server and two bartenders who were terminated from the Fort Lauderdale location, a former manager who was terminated from the Fort Lauderdale location, two servers who were fired from the Miami location, and some people from different Texas locations have reached out. So if you’re terminated for speaking to me, you’ll have an army behind you. They have many former employees going against them; you wouldn’t be alone at all.

Are you a shunpiker? - a toll road avoider? We travel full time across the US and beyond. When we visit family on the East Coast we still get sticker shock with so many things, including tolls, after living west of the Mississippi in CO for so long. Be aware though, the toll roads are creeping into the central states. What’s your answer to the elusive conundrum, why do we still have the toll road? For us, we like traveling off the beaten path anyway so avoiding toll roads often takes us a different, more scenic route or just away from the high-speed drum of the interstates. We usually aren’t saving money by avoiding these toll roads but it does save us the aggravation on the road and principle since most of the roads and bridges have already long been paid for. Most of us don’t realize this but additional implemented costs have been added in and then these tolls make additional money for their states. California Day 2 👙🤿🩴🪼🐬🐳 Our second day in California was SO much fun! I got to swim and play tag with my cousins, and Indiana was able to hold a down until he was needed for tasking. He did so PHENOMENAL! I want to also take a second to talk about the fact that there was a pet in the pool area that was lunging out and people and barking and carrying on. I understand that many people don’t understand that these are life and death situations. I could injure myself when passing out because this dog could’ve caused Indy to miss an alert. Luckily, Indiana is very well trained, but I shouldn’t have to worry about my lifeline while in a non-pet-friendly area. Many people don’t understand service dogs, but that’s not an acceptable excuse to bring your pets in to an area where they are obviously stressed and could distract a service dog. I will ALWAYS advocate for my dog and my safety NO MATTER WHAT! My independence and well being come first. Indiana saved my life multiple times on this past trip. I got so close to passing out ESPECIALLY IN THE POOL. He was able ignore all the kids, splashing water, yelling, etc to come and alert me that my heart rate was getting dangerously high. He is such an awe-inspiring service dog. I don’t know what I would do without him. THIS is how a service dog should behave!
