A fellow massage friend showed me her cool hot stone set that she has in her room. I realized I could absolutely make that work in my current room, even though I'll be getting a bigger room in a couple of months, and clients won't have to wait as long to receive them! I'm waiting for them to arrive, and once I have a consent form made and have it added to my booking site, it'll be available to add on! It will be available next week at the latest! Also, some of you are probably wondering what my picture is about. I did a crazy thing this weekend. I have a friend who is struggling with some health issues out in Arkansas. Last minute, I jumped on a plane and went to go help. There was a lot more she needed than I had the capacity to do, but I was able to massage her and allow her some time to spend with her kids and husband more. It was hard seeing what she was going through, but I was grateful I was able to be a vessel to allow her an evening with her family that she wasn't able to have for 3 weeks. I helped her headaches go away, which allowed the rest of what's going on to be more bearable. Whataburger is one of my favorite places, and I finally got to try their Dr. Pepper milkshake. And they had Bluebell ice cream out there. It was a weekend of miracles, and I'm grateful I got to be a part of it. Happy Monday!! As you may notice from my pictures, I've been doing a lot of running. I decided in December a little before Christmas that I would run a half marathon with my ex-husbands boyfriends after he asked me to run the full marathon. Obviously, I thought that was crazy talk, as I've never even run a half marathon before, so I consented on being half ad crazy as him 😜 There are lots more stats, but Instagram only let's me post 10 pictures at a time. Anyway, I want all my clients to know that we all can do hard things! I've never been fast, but I can usually run quite a bit. Training for this half has been so time-consuming and difficult. The race is this Saturday, the 20th, and a part of me is wondering how the heck I made it this far! I always said I wanted to run a half marathon, but I didn't actually think I'd ever do it, and the person to get me to do it was my ex-husbands boyfriend. Call me crazy, but I wouldn't have it any other way. Granted, he broke his toe and won't be running now, so luckily, I snagged another amazing friend to run it with me! I'm excited for the run, and I want my clients to know that no matter the challenges or the stress, we put our bodies through, we have resources to do well and come out uninjured and still healthy! Hello again, friends! I just wanted to thank everyone for their love and support in the growth of my business. I know price increases aren't always the most exciting, but I have been blown away by the encouragement and support received by most everyone so far! This is why I do what do, even though sometimes hard changes have to happen, but with the changes means more good things can happen for each of you. Openings: I have last-minute openings today from 11-2:15 pm! If anyone would like to snag a spot, feel free to check the booking site or send a message, and I'll get you on the books! https://pocketsuite.io/book/tmuscletherapy I mentioned before that I'd be explaining the new cancelation policy. Overall, this doesn't happen too much, but it happens often enough that I decided to institute a new policy or updated cancelation policy. For clients that cancel without giving 24 hours notice they will continue to have to pay half the session cost, BUT, for clients that cancel SAMEDAY, yes even if that means after midnight, you will now have to pay full price for the session. Getting someone to fill a cancelation 24 hours is already extremely difficult. Trying to fill a cancelation same day is even harder. I hope everyone can understand the importance of needing to crack down on this rule and how valuable everyone's time is no matter who you are, and making sure I protect my business in this regard is just a necessary part of business. This updated policy will go into effect on April 1st, the same day the price increase will also go into effect. Any questions or concerns, please feel free to reach out. Happy Monday, friends! New year, I decided to change my hair up again! It runs in my family for our hair to gray earlier than preferred, so therefore, I have started doing fun things wth my hair when I've never really colored it much in the past. It's been fun, and purple seems to be making a lasting effect. It's fun. To be honest, it's mostly been I've been so booked I haven't had a minute to do much if anything else other than be with my adorable child and my clients. It's been a huge blessing, to say the least, and it's thanks to my loyal clients who continue to see the value of massage and continue their self-care with me. Y'all are amazing 👏 A couple of things! I have a random opening today! I can get you in anytime today before 5:30pm, which is when I start my last massage for the day. If there's anyone who wants it, please let me know! If you do say you want it, then cancel right before, I will have to lovingly charge a cancelation fee, so if you want it, please make sure you don't have any prior commitments.
