Sarà l'occasione per scoprire e degustare insieme alcune delle eccellenze vitivinicole della nostra regione, passando per i massimi riferimenti disciplinari con i consorzi del Frascati e del Cesanese del Piglio. Now is the perfect time to enjoy some delicious Beaujolais! 🍷 @domainemontbessay, a newcomer to the Beaujolais region, is a joint venture between Phillippe Pascal, the former LVMH executive and Burgundy vinter, and @guillaume.marko, the winemaker of Cellierauxmoines. Their shared passion for the Gamay led them to produce delightful Julienas and Moulin-à-vent that are truly rooted in tradition and innovation. I had the pleasure of tasting both Beaujolais Crus side by side. Here are my thoughts. (^-^) * Julienas ‘en Bessay’ 2021 A vibrant expression of Gamay from a hilltop vineyard with stunning views and granitic soil. The wine displays redcurrant, spice, and floral nuances with a mineral backbone and fine tannins, leading to a long, savory finish. It captures the essence of spring. 🌿 * Moulin-a-Vent ‘Le Vieux Bourg’ 2021 Rich, profound, and structured. The Reserva of Morellino di Scansano represents the origins of Fattoria Le Pupille. Originally called Rosso di Pereta It is winery's first wine to be produced which became, after the constitution of the Appellation's disciplinary in 1978 - Morellino di Scansano. Deep and bright ruby colour. Fine perfumes impact of blackberry and blueberry jam, blackcurrant and mint; it opens on aromas of Mediterranean bush, red orange, tobacco and black pepper. The mouthfeel is round and tasty; it shows a dynamic structure, embodied with a beautiful freshness in which the silky tannic texture constitutes an excellent basis for a long term bottle maturation. Very persistent on citrus notes. It pairs well with grilled pork belly with currant sauce and tagliolini with lamb ragout. If you are a Morettino di Scansano lover, you can't miss it!

2017 was a cold vintage in Bordeaux with late frosts in spring and rain on summer, that made Cabernet Sauvignon ripe very slowly and achieve good complexity. This bottle is just 7 years old but shows some spicy notes and promising evolution. Chateau Capbern belongs to Chateau Calon Segur. It was paired with fettuccine with cherry tomatoes and spinach. Dobar par biće mu tanka juneća pohovana šnicla uz pire od celera. Živeli! Ocena: 8.9/10 Okvirna cena na polici: 1200 din. (10€) On the nose, aromas of roasted plums, black ripe cherries, some sweet spices with vanilla and cloves at the end. Cherries and dogwoods come on the palate, with again a bit of dark chocolate vanilla in the finish. The wine is medium-minus bodied, with nice acidity! Fine tannins and balanced alcohol. A good pair would be thin fried beef steak with celery puree. Nakon višednevnog kušanja genijalnih istarskih crvenih vina na bazi bordoških sorti, uletio je i Degrassijev Syrah 2012., nevjerojatne elegancije, profinjenosti i vječne mladosti, ali učinilo mi se da je zvijezda večeri bio istarski merlot, često rezan sa cabernetom naravno, ali i s kojom kapljicom terana, refoška ili borgonje. Red je jedna moderna bordoška kupaža istarske orijentacije. Famozna! S okusom rogača, Griotta, slatkih zacina i željom da osvoji svijet. Merlot je postao jedan od glavnih crvenih igrača u Istri. Budući da je često rezan sa teranom, što bi mogao postati istarski odgovor globalnom zatopljenju, nikada ne postaje preekstraktan, džemast ili ne daj Boźe dosadan. Die Weinregion Mosel ist eine der traditionsreichsten und bekanntesten Weinregionen in Deutschland. Das liegt besonders an der deutschen Paraderebsorte Riesling: Der Riesling von der Mosel überzeugt Kenner auf der ganzen Welt eher mit Eleganz als mit Wucht. Die Nebenflüsse Saar und Ruwer zählen auch zum Weinanbaugebiet Mosel und sind aufgrund des noch kühleren Klima und Weinen mit messerscharfer Säure geliebt. 🇩🇪🥶 Das Anbaugebiet umfasst über 10.000 Hektar in Rheinland Pfalz und zu einem kleinen Teil im Saarland. An der oberen Mosel in Richtung Luxemburg liegen die ältesten Weinberge Deutschlands: Hier betrieben schon die Römer im 1. Jahrhundert v. Chr. Weinbau. 🏛️ In dieser Weinbauregion herrscht unangefochten der König Riesling. Nirgendwo sonst in Deutschland wachsen leichtere, feinerer und fruchtigere Rieslinge als an der Mosel. Besonders rest- und edelsüße Weine spielen an der Mosel eine wesentlich größere Rolle als im Rest Deutschlands: Nur ca. 18 % aller Weißweine sind trockene Weine. Der hohe Anteil an süßen Weinen liegt am hohen Stellenwert des Prädikatssystems und daran, dass jedes Prädikat erzeugt werden kann. Spektakulär sind auch die unglaublich steilen Lagen von Weltruf wie das Erdener Treppchen oder die Wehlener Sonnenuhr. ⛰️ Die Mosel erlebt seit einigen Jahren eine wahre Renaissance. Delamere Pinot Noir 2010 Picked up quite some time back on my first visit, we had a great hour or so talking rubbish with Shane at the Cellar Door/Winery at the time, the hard part was keeping the order size reasonable and having to make choices about what to buy Med/deep ruby, surprisingly clear, deep and bright given its age The nose is dark cherry, autumn leaves, earth and a hint of spice On the palate, that dark cherry is there again, tannin and acid in fabulous balance, with musk sticks on exit. The Lord and a guest dueled two of the best Bordeaux-style wines in the world…paired with terrine and duck. 2007 Ridge Monte Bello: Decanted and followed over 2 hours. Magnificent bouquet of exotic Asian spicebox evolving to burnt caramel and then that trademark Ridge MB eucalyptus and mint. Long finish of spiced fruit though somewhat coiled. Tannins need more time to resolve but this is already drinking well at 17 years with robust food. 96/100 2000 Tertre Roteboeuf: Double decanted and followed over 2 hours. This was incredible. It kept evolving from Musigny-like smoke and red berries to the more “authentic” right bank Bordeaux chocolate and violets and some green notes from the Cabernet Franc component.
