🍇 With her V24 Mencia and Mataro in barrel and the V23 Sangiovese almost in bottle, it was such a pleasure to once again catch up with Nikki Palun at her amazing urban cellar door in the heart of Port Melbourne! 🗺️ It’s almost a year to the day since we last caught up, where I tried my hand at plunges and pump overs - and so much has changed. In particular, it’s exciting to see her chic cellar door complete, with bar and lounge, kitchen and winery, as well as Cecil the Sloth (who sleepily overlooks the bar). 🦥 We chatted over some old favourites (including glasses of her Piano Pinot Noir and her Farfalla Montepulciano and Sagrantino) reminiscing and talking all things wine.
