๐Ÿ’ฅ Personal 2 Year Transformation ๐Ÿ‘‡๐Ÿฝ From plant based to animal based diet. No changes were made in terms of training, but simply a diet shift. I thought that I had made a big transformation already after 1 year, but clearly there was alot more to come with an ancestrally appropriate diet. I had been mostly plant based throughout my life until two years ago. It's incredible what happens when the body is supplied with all bio-available and essential nutrients from animal foods. If we follow an Ancestral and Circadian appropriate diet, it's not possible to be only plant based for long-term. Our body was designed to be omnivore, to be able to eat meat, fruits and vegetables. However that comes in an order of priority. Animal foods are used for building and regenerating the body. Whereas plants are very useful for detoxification and cleansing the body. Fruits and vegetables are primarily designed to be used at circadian signalling, as those mainly grow at certain times of the year at certain locations. Meat, however is available all year around. My initial trigger for change was my body's calling for better energy and health - I was fortunate to not override that urge, as I had embodied a strong belief system around eating animal based foods, which didn't support my health and vitality. Menstration & UV light Women need more UV light than men when they are younger before they hit menopause BUT Please remember: every cell in a human's body releases ELF UV light-- as a signalling molecule, however, the sicker we are the more we release and that creates inflammation aka cellular chaos. As someone who cured herself naturally of endometriosis over 25 years, this is great news. Especially considering the only option my gynae gave me was a script for drugs (with hideous side effects) and ongoing surgery. UV light is the most important light for a human. Eyes and skin are the most important surfaces to get that UV light. It has been proven at night we release low frequency UV light from our cells and all stressed/sick cells release even more. So if you are not replacing the light.....guess what.....health gets worse and worse until symptoms of disease appear, then disease, then death. Now these people are the exact people who cannot be out for hours at a time in the strongest UV light. Which is why I divert back to the basics to build a solar callus: 1. We were not made to avoid the sun at all costs, to rarely let our bare feet touch the earth and to be connected to digital devices rather than the people around us. And yet, here we are. Humans were never supposed to eat toxic food, grown in toxic soils and sprayed with toxic chemicals. That's not what nature intended or what our ancestors did. And how people think that they can just keep on doing this and not pay any sort of physical health price is beyond me. GMO foods are everywhere, and where there is GMO, there is glyphosate. Glyphosate is found in our soil, water, and crops. It's even been found in high concentrations of in drinking water. Humans are exposed to glyphosate via inhalation and absorption but mostly it enters the bodies of people through the food chain and what we eat. There is a reason global fertility rates are plummeting. It has a lot to do with endocrine disruptors and the toxic world we live in. It's also due to the fact people are so removed from nature these days - too afraid of the sun to go out in it, living most of their life indoors under artificial light, eating toxic food, drinking toxic water and using a concoction of chemicals in their homes. I'm trying something new! I've never been what you'd call a "morning person" -- I am all about that snooze button! And I snooze for longer than I care to disclose. ๐Ÿ˜… But I've been learning a lot about CIRCADIAN HEALTH lately, and how critical it is to expose our bodies to natural morning sunlight (expect to see more posts from me about circadian health!). ๐ŸŒž I live in a apartment building, so I can't just go out in my back yard. So, I've decided to try wake up a little earlier (which means getting to bed a little earlier because SLEEP MATTERS!). I'll walk for ~15 minutes then find a grassy spot in the rose garden to sit and meditate with my bare legs and feet on the Earth (grounding, check! โœ…). I work primarily from home, so getting up and going outside is a big change for me! But it's also a big change from the morning rush of the old commute too. I may need some encouragement to keep this up! I really hope I can make this a habit. ๐Ÿคž๐Ÿฝ Today was day 1! I was greeted by this on the sidewalk in the rose garden. This dilates blood vessels and lowers pressure and has been found to also lower eye pressure in a protective way. For those like me that live in Victoria, or those in New South Wales and South Australia, we're most at risk ๐Ÿ™ This is simply due to the fact that at our latitude and location, we get less sunlight and therefore less Vitamin D making power. But don't worry, I have some tips for you so here goes.. โœ”๏ธ Download the Circadian Health app and set to your location โœ”๏ธ Set up notifications for when UVB rise and check for the times it is at it's peak. โœ”๏ธ Schedule your lunch, walk and breaks during this time and get outside. UVB's primary role is to make Vitamin D so you want to get out during this time. โœ”๏ธ Check out tomorrow's post for Vitamin D punching foods โœ”๏ธ Combine these foods with foods rich in Magnesium and Vitamin K.
