Slow Cooker Hot Dog Chili! Ingredients: 1 lb ground beef 1/2 onion, finely chopped 1/2 green bell pepper, finely chopped 2 cloves garlic, minced 1 can (15 oz) tomato sauce 1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes 1/4 cup ketchup 2 tbsp chili powder 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce 1 tsp ground cumin 1 tsp smoked paprika 1/2 tsp salt 1/2 tsp black pepper 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper (optional) 1/4 cup water 8 hot dogs Directions: In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned. Drain excess fat. Add the chopped onion, bell pepper, and minced garlic to the skillet. Cook until the vegetables are softened, about 5 minutes. Transfer the beef and vegetable mixture to a crockpot. Add the tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, ketchup, chili powder, Worcestershire sauce, ground cumin, smoked paprika, salt, black pepper, cayenne pepper (if using), and water. Stir to combine. Chilli con carne by following @Maxi’s recipe Ingredients: ♡ Olive oil ♡ Beef mince ♡ Diced onion ♡ Diced bell pepper ♡ Maxi's All-Purpose Seasoning ♡ Maxi's SPG Seasoning ♡ Maxi's Lemon Pepper Seasoning ♡ Ground cumin ♡ Ground turmeric ♡ Crushed chilli flakes ♡ Cayenne pepper ♡ Garlic cloves ♡ Tomato puree ♡ Balsamic vinegar ♡ Worcestershire sauce ♡ Tin of chopped tomatoes ♡ Beef stock cube ♡ Fresh coriander ♡ Tin of mixed beans ♡ Milk ♡ Cocoa powder ♡ Basmati rice ♡ Onion ♡ Tomato ♡ Lime juice ♡ Mild chilli powder ♡ Avocado ♡ Soured cream ♡ Fresh chives Method: 1. Drizzle some olive oil into a large pan and add beef mince. When the mince has browned, add diced pepper and diced onion. Sprinkle in some Maxi's All-Purpose Seasoning, Maxi's SPG Seasoning, Maxi's Lemon Pepper Seasoning, ground cumin, ground turmeric, crushed chilli flakes and cayenne pepper. Give it a stir and mince in some garlic. Hadn't made chili in YONKS. My friend, Maggie, said "I have 3lbs of ground beef I'll never use, how about we make chili?" And we did. Bit of a 'kitchen sink' effort. Took some ideas from a few recipes i found on line and added a few of my own ideas in there, too... namely a couple of table spoons of black cocoa powder 😃 , smoked maple syrup and some freshly ground ancho chilies and kashmiri chilies. We threw in some fresh carrots, onions, red pepper, roasted garlic (a lot, of course), cumin, oregano, smoked paprika, a dash of maple pepper seasoning, low sodium beef broth..... I think that was it. Simmered on low for a couple of hours. When I got home with my share I cooked up some pasta, lopped on some Tositios queso, and topped it with the chili. Égouttez l'excès de graisse si nécessaire. Ajoutez l'oignon haché et l'ail émincé à la casserole. Faites cuire jusqu'à ce que l'oignon soit translucide et parfumé. Ajoutez les tomates en dés, les haricots rouges, les haricots noirs, le concentré de tomates, le bouillon de bœuf, la poudre de chili, le cumin moulu, le paprika, l'origan séché, le sel et le poivre. Portez le chili à ébullition, puis réduisez le feu à doux. Couvrez et laissez mijoter pendant au moins 30 minutes pour permettre aux saveurs de se mélanger. Goûtez et ajustez l'assaisonnement si nécessaire. Servez chaud, garni de fromage râpé, de crème sure, d'oignons verts hachés, de coriandre ou de vos garnitures de chili préférées.
