Here’s a good Tarot exercise for anyone learning or already experienced with the cards. Take out the 40 minor arcana cards and organize them by suit and lay them out in order from Ace to Ten. I believe the minor arcana cards represent the common and relatable situations and emotions we all go through and experience through our lives. It’s like you go on a journey or a story unfolds from Ace to Ten in each suit. You may notice that, generally speaking, the Pentacles & Cups journeys end positively (wealth and happiness), but the Swords & Wands journeys seem to have more negative endings (failure and burden). Life has its ups and downs which is also reflected in the numerology within each suit from Ace to Ten. To kind of summarize the journey, I see it as Ace being the beginning/the start of something, Two is finding a sense of balance, which allows you to enter Three, a place of growth, thus leading you to the stability of Four, but suddenly Five is a disruption in that established stability causing a need for regaining harmony in Six, which opens you to Seven, a spiritual or self questioning moment/epiphany, hopefully pushing you to the strength and confidence in Eight, giving you the power to realize what you need to attain your goals in the Nines, and then Ten is the result, what you’re left with at the end. Look to see how each card fits into its place in the story for each suit. Remember, some cards show a blockage in the numerological theme like the Eight of Swords shows a restriction of power. None of us experience life only through the lens of one suit, which is why a mix of suits usually appear in a spread. We also do not go through life in this order or as one cycle, but it’s interesting to consider how the cards connect. Here’s a good Tarot exercise for anyone learning or already experienced with the cards. Take out the 40 minor arcana cards and organize them by suit and lay them out in order from Ace to Ten. I believe the minor arcana cards represent the common and relatable situations and emotions we all go through and experience through our lives. It’s like you go on a journey or a story unfolds from Ace to Ten in each suit. You may notice that, generally speaking, the Pentacles & Cups journeys end positively (wealth and happiness), but the Swords & Wands journeys seem to have more negative endings (failure and burden). Life has its ups and downs which is also reflected in the numerology within each suit from Ace to Ten. To kind of summarize the journey, I see it as Ace being the beginning/the start of something, Two is finding a sense of balance, which allows you to enter Three, a place of growth, thus leading you to the stability of Four, but suddenly Five is a disruption in that established stability causing a need for regaining harmony in Six, which opens you to Seven, a spiritual or self questioning moment/epiphany, hopefully pushing you to the strength and confidence in Eight, giving you the power to realize what you need to attain your goals in the Nines, and then Ten is the result, what you’re left with at the end. Look to see how each card fits into its place in the story for each suit. Remember, some cards show a blockage in the numerological theme like the Eight of Swords shows a restriction of power. None of us experience life only through the lens of one suit, which is why a mix of suits usually appear in a spread. We also do not go through life in this order or as one cycle, but it’s interesting to consider how the cards connect. You may also recognise Juliet Sharman Burke who collaborated the Sharman-Caselli Tarot deck with Giovanni, this was the first time they had met in person despite working together for many years. This charming town is rich in history and has strong connections to Leonardo Da Vinci, as well as a confirmed link between Leonardo and tarot. The history of Italian tarot cards stretches back further than the Sforza deck of 1451, with us having access to documented evidence of tarot existing 80 years prior. Things started to changed when I was 18, following a car accident which I could have avoided had I listened to my intuition. This made me realise that the gentle warning I was receiving before heading out that day was my intuition, and it made me want to explore it more💡 Fast forward to 2014, after years of dabbling in tarot and doubting my abilities, I started a business and started using tarot more and more. I slowly started integrating tarot into my business, and every business I had ever since. 🌈 Now I have a business that is fully aligned to who I am, and my purpose and I use the very tool I once doubted in my business whenever I feel is needed. I use tarot to guide my decisions when I feel stuck and to help others on their own paths with confidence.
