I always felt such sadness for the story of Medusa. She was punished multiple times for the actions of others. I always thought it would be interesting if elements of the story were reversed. I know that a statue of Medusa holding the head of Perseus was placed somewhere in New York City. At any rate, this is my take on the mythology of Medusa. But the idea of the Hercules movie started boiling 😁. Then I realized that the movie is full of Greek mythology and I started googling for more information. I found out that Hades and Zeus have another brother named Poseidon. Together they defeated their father's generation of gods, the titans, and claimed joint rulership over cosmos. Hades received the underworld, Zeus the sky, and Poseidon the sea. The earth was available to all three concurrently. Work In Progress: Panel Three - Earthly Delights - Lost In The Garden Carrying on with the bottom section of the painting. First I worked on the table legs and the table cloth for the last supper, and then popped down to the operating table to do the legs and top too, since that is essentially a last supper too. I am still debating about the colour for that tablecloth though, so I will leave it for now. Then I moved on to painting in the ground more thickly, since I dread having to paint around all the finished details later on.
