Today, I want to share with you a piece of my heart, a lesson that has shaped my life big time. There was a time when I let my emotions control me. I would eat bread and cheese on the couch with Netflix instead of facing my fears and step outside my comfort zone. Litterally. I felt every high and every low intensely, and it was tiring. But then, something shifted within me. I realized that the key to true happiness and fulfillment is in mastering emotions! I learned that it’s okay to feel deeply, but it’s how we respond to those emotions that really defines us. It’s about finding that fine balance between acknowledging our feelings and not letting them control us OR MAKE IT MEAN THINGS. By mastering my emotions, I’ve 👉🏼unlocked a whole new world of possibilities. Hey everyone, it's tough to say this, but it looks like cancer might be back after nearly 7 years of being in the clear. It's hitting me hard, no sugar-coating it. Honestly, it feels strange and weird. There's so much anger, frustration, fear - it's all swirling inside me. Usually, I'm all about pushing limits, breaking barriers, but today, there's no point pretending I'm all sunshine and rainbows. I'm not just a guy with cancer; it's like life's throwing punches, and I'm just here taking them. And honestly, I'm tired of it all. Sick and tired of pretending everything's fine when it's not. Living with #bpd #eupd can mean your moods can change from intense highs to the lowest of lows. Several times a day. To someone who doesn’t have this condition may think 🤔 how can you have that many mood changes in a day ! Or may think.. learn how to manage it ! But one of the hardest things is lots of people with the condition do! Imagine living with not knowing what your mood will be like day to day. It could be something that triggers an intense mood change. Which people may think 🤨 But having BPD -EUPD makes it difficult to regulate emotion’s. Having bpd is like living on a rollercoaster 🎢 of emotions. Some days it’s DRAINING! Constantly being up and down. The worst thing is people giving advice sometimes. Of course people say it to be helpful sometimes. But when someone like me who have tried everything. DBT, Therapy, Meditation… many more.. Even medication to regulate this. (I take medication daily ! Overall, it was a unique story compared to what I’m used to reading, but it is a good read if you like stories involving crime/serial killers, mystery, thrills, and twists.
