I started to heal my anxieties, worries, fears, and confusions (shadows) until I began my Somatic Shadow Therapies. I fought the idea of doing Shadow work because I thought my yoga, qi gong practices, meditations, and prayers were going to take care of all my healing. I was so wrong. To be fertile is to first know one's gifts and secondly to work with those gifts. To call any woman infertile is a sin. There is no such thing as woman who cannot conceive and birth life. Of course, it is all about how tiny the box we place ourselves in can be. For us to feel so small and unworthy, simply because one part of our nature has been dormant or purposely put to sleep. Every woman knows this particular longing, calling of her forgotten gifts, urge to be creative and productive while not knowing where to start. Feeling overwhelmed by "not having time or means" to fully commit to one's passion. Putting everyone's needs before her own soul needs. And justifying why it has to be this way. This is the pain of separation from nature of Woman. Because nature of Her is lush and neverending. Conceiving and birthing a child is no measure in fertility. Let yourself be discovered by you. Guns, like any training program, are inherently neutral. It all depends on our intentions, whether we're the gun handler or the trainer in the room. We have the power to destruct or build, to shape life or end it. Will we break down barriers or build them up? This reminds me that my teaching approach has real power, and it demands thoughtful delivery. What kind of learning environment am I creating for my participants? True power in training comes from understanding ourselves. It reminds me to be more aware: 🔥 Pay Attention to Your Instincts: Conducting a session, what do you feel deep inside? Excitement? Nervousness? Those raw feelings reveal the energy you bring to the room. Use them to amplify engagement and create a positive learning space. 🔥 Check Your Beliefs: Where did your ideas about facilitation, knowledge transfer, and participant interaction come from? Don't be afraid to question them. Be open to adapting your teaching style to better connect with and relate to your participants. 🔥 Connect Actions to Intentions: Does your delivery style, the activities, and the follow-up align with the skills you want to impart? I recently turned down a multi six figure opportunity because it didn’t align with my faith and values. I knew I was going to turn it down before I took the meeting. Something in me said “there’s something about this that isn’t right.” Trust me when I tell you it had everything I have been praying for in this next stage of my business and life. After I investigated further one of the major components of the opportunity went against my faith and values. I had a similar experience in 2017 when I was promoting the @notwithoutmyhijab Play I was presented with a five figure opportunity that would have made promoting the project easier but again went against my values and the message I was looking to convey with the play. I turned that down too. “When a thing disturbs the peace of your heart, give it up.” -Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ). So I did. The goal remains the same however because I can reach my goals in a Halal manner as Allah is Ar Razzaq (The Provider). What I gained from this, is that Allah showed me the path that would have been great for my dunya but where I gave up my Akhirah. So with Alhamdulillah on my tongue, I’m going to do like Fabolous says and move to Plan B but only to figure out how to make Plan A work. Found this helpful? Let me know in the comments. I manifested this…. After my Dad passed away almost a decade ago, I started to reprioritise what I wanted in my life. Losing a loved one puts things in quick perspective and I started to write down what I wanted out of life as I was unhappy with how things were. A loving supportive partner was top of the list, sounds cringey but it’s true. Then setting up my own business then kids. I grew up largely in a single parent household. My mum did an amazing job but it was hard - working a lot and she had very little support. I always wanted that family experience, I longed for it growing up. Sunday dinners, a loving greeting at the door, family time. My own little family is my greatest manifestation. I can’t believe it sometimes. Manifestation works. Write it down. Stay positive. Work towards it and have faith. Is it unhealthy ego base ? Why I truly want certain experience? Is it to please someone else or show off seeking approval ?
