…is that we’re stubborn as hell.⁠ ⁠ That’s a blessing and a curse. We eat hard work for breakfast. When there’s a challenge in front of us, we run at it with a flying side kick to show it who’s boss.⁠ ⁠ But the flip side is that we don’t change tactics quickly. We think we need to use trial and error to figure out our training or rehab our injury. We think we need to do it all ourselves and just have to work harder.⁠ ⁠ We’re wrong.⁠ ⁠ More hard work isn’t always the answer, and we don’t have to do it all ourselves.⁠ ⁠ The truth is that if we drop our ego and open ourselves to getting some help, things go easier. ⁠ ⁠ Injuries heal faster and don’t flare as often. Our lifts break through the plateaus and start going up again. Our physiques become what we want them to be, and we have more fun through it all.⁠ ⁠ But it has to happen in that order. Подведем очередные итоги ) 372.5 кг в сумме, 1 место в троеборье и 1 место в жиме🥇 прибавили по ногам по +2.5 кг в каждом движении) Для меня это приято,так как ещё 4 недели назад мои ноги отказались приседать и тянуть вовсе... Теперь видим куда расти и куда дальше двигаться, а вот жим надо пересмотреть координально,начиная с основ. Спасибо тренеру @the_real_kalugin, сделать из моей говняной подготовки относительно сностный салат у него получилось)))))) я вообще не рассчитывала что можно как-то вернуть силу ногам, не то чтобы чутка прибавить..а хотя бы вернуть их в ноомальное состояние😅😅 Зато почувствовала какого это, после своего старта отсудить троеборбе 😅 те кто судят до своего выступления-тепепь для меня настоящие герои) В принципе довольна ли я?) Не знаю...не деграднула по сумме и уже хорошо. Как-то нет сил что-либо писать, сухо, скомкано но по делу. Умение побеждать,это конечно поекрасно, но если поставить на противоположную чашу весов умение принимать проигрыш достойно, то что будет иметь больший вес? Вон она, моя первая баранка) Эмоционально грустно, эмоционально неприятно, но объективно,она должна была быть рано или поздно. Для меня пожать 75 и быть второй или получить баранку не пожав свои, как мне казалось, рабочие 80 и уехать с баранкой... Для кого-то может есть разница, наверное лично для меня разница была бы не сильно большая... Искать виноватых, искать причины это наверное лишнее. Я не жалею,что приехала, не жалею,что сказала увеличивать, не жалею о полученном опыте. Я хочу показать то, что я являюсь обычным человеком. Да, немного всплакнуда, да грустно и жалко...я могу себе позволить это испытывать, но также я понимаю и осознаю что это обычный этап, ведь без поражений ценность победы немного теряется. И да, я не стесняюсь этого, я не боюсь показать то, что я не идеальный, не самый полсушный, не самый хороший спортсмен для своего тренера. Поэтому официально прошу прощения у своего тренера, за свой перформанс! As a dietitian, I use 1 carb serve = 15g carbs. This certainly doesn't mean that's how much carbs you should have at a meal (that's not nearly enough!) We often explain what 45g carbs looks like because it equates to ~1 cup of rice or pasta and that's easy to visualise & remember. Let's talk about an under addressed issue: beginner/ novice nutrition. Make sure you swipe right for the full meal plan and double tap if you agree We had a lot of conversations last time we talked about meal plans. We talked about what it takes to fuel a 6', 300± pound strongman. What we neglected to talk about were beginning strength athletes. So here we go with the "beefy plan" It's more important to focus on well-rounded meals to support muscle growth and recovery than actual calories. Here are recommended ratios to start with: Protein: Aim for approximately 0.7-1 gram of protein per pound of body weight. For example, if you weigh 150 pounds, aim for 105-150 grams of protein per day. Carbohydrates: Consume enough carbohydrates to fuel your training sessions and provide energy. Aim for around 2-3 grams of carbs per pound of body weight. For example, if you weigh 150 pounds, aim for 300-450 grams of carbs per day. Fats: Include healthy fats in your diet for overall health and hormone production. Aim for around 0.3-0.5 grams of fat per pound of body weight. For example, if you weigh 150 pounds, aim for 45-75 grams of fat per day. Remember, these ratios and gram per pound recommendations are just starting points. Adjust them based on your individual needs, goals, and preferences. It's also important to listen to your body and make adjustments as you progress in your training. These numbers could also vary widely depending on how intense you train and different training blocks. Obviously, you can adjust the foods to ones that are more suited to your lifestyle and tastes.
