Bardzo przeżywacie śmierć bohaterów, których polubiliście? 😵🥺 •współpraca reklamowa• @wydawnictwonowestrony @magsgreen_autorka Po pierwszej części miałam niedosyt, po tej jestem uzależniona i nie wiem jak wytrzymam do kolejnej. 🥵 Val nadal bezkompromisowo podąża ścieżką zemsty. Jej głównym celem jest Daero. Większość fabuły rozgrywa się w akademii dla obdarzonych magią kobiet oraz walecznych elfów. Mają oni za zadanie stworzyć pary i drużyny i wspólnie pokonać przeszkody. Nikt nie gra czysto, co chwila ktoś wbija nóż w plecy (częściej dosłownie niż w przenośni). Uwielbiam klimat szkoły, zadań, zawiązywania przyjaźni i nie tylko. Vibe pierwszej części jest jak najbardziej zachowany. Jest krwawo, mrocznie i ogólnie trup za trupem. Uwielbiam motyw found family w tej książce. Mags wykreowała tak cudownych bohaterów, że nie umiem wybrać ulubionej postaci. Każdy inny, każdy ma swoje wady i walczy z demonami przeszłości. Kibicujemy im razem i każdemu z osobna. Wątek romantyczny był nieoczywisty. Do końca nie wiedziałam komu można ufać a kto jednak okaże się gnidą. Dobrze, że gnidy w tej serii spotyka zasłużony koniec 😁 Końcówka złamała mi serce. Nie spodziewałam się takiego obrotu. Jesu, jak można było im przysporzyć tyle cierpienia?! Uwielbiam, ale daaaamn 🤭 Dostałam więcej Daero, dziękuję. Teraz dawka uderzeniowa w trzeciej części, please! To idealny czas, aby przypomnieć Wam o tej książce i zachęcić Was do przeczytania, jeśli się jeszcze na to nie zdecydowaliście. Gwiezdne Łowy to intrygująca, rozpalające serce oraz wyciskająca z człowieka wszelkie emocje, fantastyka, która sprawi, że z każdą kolejną stronę będziecie chcieć jej więcej. Czuło się, że jest to debiut i choć pomysł na fabułę był świetny, to wykonanie i kreacja bohaterów pozostawiały jeszcze sporo do życzenia. Nie sprawiło to jednak, że nie miałabym ochoty na kontynuację - wręcz przeciwnie, z niecierpliwością czekałam na „Gwiezdne Łowy”. 🦋 Jeśli mieliście podobne odczucia co do „Gonu”, to nie wahajcie się i sięgajcie po część drugą! Wiele zostało tu naprawione, fabuła trzyma w napięciu, Val trochę dorosła, a nowe miejsce akcji przyciąga. 🦋 Przenosimy się wprzód o 5 lat i większość czasu tej ponad sześciuset stronicowej powieści spędzamy w Akademii Kelio. Tu Nybris chce znaleźć wśród towarzyszek Gwiezdne Połączenie – połączenie, które sprawi, że jej drużyna verevirse będzie najsilniejszą ze wszystkich. Wszędzie jednak czai się n|ebezpieczeństwo, nigdy nie wiadomo, kto komu wb|je nóż w plecy (albo pazury), a wszystko spowija niepokojący cień... Druga część trylogii „Post mortem” jest nieco spokojniejsza – głównie dlatego, że akcja nie skacze po lokacjach. Poznajemy nowych bohaterów i tym razem nie miałam wrażenia, że są enpecami – każdy został odpowiednio wykreowany, miał swoje miejsce i cel. Jedyne, do czego mogę się przyczepić, ale to osobisty problem – ich imiona są krótkie i część z nich jest do siebie podobna, przez co często myliłam, kto jest kim. Ta seria stoi silnymi bohaterkami, to one mają moc i władzę. Uwielbiam magię żywiołów, a to ona gra tutaj pierwsze skrzypce, co niesamowicie mnie cieszy. Jeśli chodzi o wątek galdrein... uff, został znakomicie poprowadzony, wszystko jest poplątane i jestem bardzo ciekawa, jak autorka planuje rozwiązać tę zaskakującą sytuację. Mags dawała znać na swoich socjalach, że ukryła trzy podpowiedzi co do tego, jak skończy się trylogia. Ja mam pewne podejrzenia, a co z tego będzie... mam nadzieję, że dowiemy się już niebawem. Howard Eckels, its founder, was one of the fathers of modern embalming techniques. He also began the Eckels College of Embalming. In addition to pioneering embalming techniques and science, Eckles was known for making true-to-life death masks. In his free time, he authored numerous books of mortuary science, undertaking and funerals. This book is from a series of publications for mortuary professionals from Eckels. It specifically covers embalming techniques and practices for “Sudden Death Cases”. It covers Heart Failure, Apoplexy, Pneumonia, Peritonitis, Blood Poison, Puerperal Fever and Drowned Bodies. In each chapter, the condition of the body and various approaches to combating the decomposition process. For example, the chapter on drowned bodies says, “To properly preserve a body dead from drowning the embalmer must, of course, be guided by the condition in which the body is found and the length of time it has been under water.” It continues on to talk about what position to lay the body in on the embalming table and how to handle “a full quota of blood and the stomach and intestines”. There is a large, fold-out chart inside the book that has a detailed illustration of the arterial system, copyrighted by the Eckles & Co. in 1903. There are also rad adverts in the back of the book for embalming products like “Flesh Tints”. Tajemnice , szpiegowanie to chleb powszedni szkolenia , władza akademicka wyraźnie punktuje lepiej urodzonych , do tego walka z demonami których nikt nie potrafi pokonać. No nie jest lekko . Val po czasie zdobywa zaufanie kilku 𝑓𝑒𝑧𝑟𝑜 , stawka jest wysoka , bo to jej jedyna szansa na pokonanie Daero ...
