Beast: A wild beast prowls within my thoughts so unkind, Its sharp claws shred through, leaving me confined, It traps my soul, refusing to unwind, And grips my heart tight, no matter what I find. I had once held the conviction that human actions, Were guided by purity and morality's righteous code, But my naivety was shattered by repeated infractions, And my trust in their character was left in a dismal abode.
